Psycho Nutburger Pleads Guilty To Kidnapping, Raping, And Dismembering His Girlfriend’s Daughter – Philadelphia Inquirer

A Doylestown man admitted Tuesday that he kidnapped, raped, killed, and dismembered his girlfriend’s 14-year-old daughter, Grace Packer, in 2016. His girlfriend also is expected to plead guilty.

Jacob Sullivan, 46, and Sara Packer, 44, were charged in 2017 with killing the Abington girl as part of what authorities have described as a “heinous” and “unspeakable” sexual fantasy. They said the couple raped the teen, choked her to death, and left her body in kitty litter for months, then cut up her remains and dumped them in the woods of Luzerne County.

If a judge accepts Sullivan’s plea, a jury will be selected to determine whether he is sentenced to death or life in prison without parole…

A jury in Iowa has concluded that the state discriminated against a former Iowa Department of Corrections nurse because the employer wouldn’t let her use the bathrooms with male employees.

The jury also said the Iowa Department of Corrections denied Jesse Vreogh health care coverage for “medically necessary surgery” – i.e. a double mastectomy to look more like a man.

The jury awarded Vreogh $120,000 for the “emotional distress” of both instances based on Iowa’s sexual orientation and gender identity law, which was introduced in 2007 and signed by Democrat Gov. Chet Culver.

Lawmakers of both major parties vote for such bills in statehouses and cities around the country. Indiana’s Republican governor, for example, is pushing anti-speech legislation on related topics and grounds…

President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he intends to nominate Jeffrey Rosen, a longtime litigator and deputy transportation secretary, to replace Rod Rosenstein as deputy attorney general.

In his current post, the 60-year-old Rosen serves as the Transportation Department’s chief operating officer and is in charge of implementing the department’s safety and technological priorities. He rejoined DOT in 2017 after previously serving as general counsel from 2003 to 2006.

From 2006 until 2009, Rosen was the general counsel and a senior policy adviser at the White House Office of Management and Budget. He also worked as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center…

In New York City’s Times Square, on May 4, the pro-life group Focus on the Family (FOTF) will present a live, 4D ultrasound of an unborn baby as part of the pro-family event Alive from New York.

At the event, which will also include speakers and live music, a doctor will perform the 4D ultrasound – four-dimensional images – which allows viewers to see a baby moving around in his mother’s womb and potentially kicking, sucking his (or her) thumb, yawning and even smiling.

Ultrasounds have been known to change the minds of pro-abortion individuals and of women considering abortion, encouraging them to choose life for their babies.

A Mexican businesswoman’s decapitated body was discovered with a note that reportedly said she was killed because her husband “didn’t want to pay” a ransom.

The body of Susana Carrera was found last Wednesday inside a bag in a parking lot in the coastal city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz. She had been kidnapped a week earlier outside a friend’s house where she had gone to pick up one of her children. Harrowing security camera footage showed her captors pulling up in a car, grabbing her and quickly throwing her into a car in a matter of seconds.

The kidnappers left a note alongside the woman’s body, according to local media, which read: “This happened to me because my husband played the tough guy and didn’t want to pay my ransom.”…

Nicolas Sandmann’s Legal Team Files $250 Million Defamation Lawsuit Against Trump-Hating Washington Post – Fox News

Attorneys representing the Kentucky high school student involved in a confrontation that went viral on social media last month announced Tuesday that they were suing The Washington Post for $250 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

Judicial Watch Sues For ‘Coup’ Documents – Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for all records of communication of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the Office of the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, or the Office of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussing the 25th Amendment or presidential fitness.

Additionally, the lawsuit seeks all recordings made by any official in the Office of the Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General of meetings in the Executive Office of the President or Vice President.

The suit was filed after the Justice Department failed to respond to three separate FOIA requests dated September 21, 2018 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00388)).

Jussie Smollett To Face Grand Jury Over Hate Crime Hoax – Breitbart

Empire star Jussie Smollett will reportedly face a grand jury next week to determine the credibility of his hate crime allegations, following reports that Chicago Police are investigating the actor for orchestrating the attack on himself.

Crazy Old Hag Nancy Pelosi To President Trump: No State Of The Union For You – The Hill

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday she will block President Trump from delivering the State of the Union address in the House chamber until the government reopens, rejecting the president’s demand to deliver the speech on Jan. 29.

In a letter to Trump, Pelosi said she would not move forward with the legislative steps needed for the address to take place.

“The House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the president’s State of the Union address in the House chamber until government has opened,” she wrote.

By refusing to schedule a vote on the resolution, Pelosi is preventing Congress from meeting in a joint session for the purpose of hearing Trump’s address.

The Speaker said she would invite the president to deliver his speech “on a mutually agreeable date” but only “when government has been opened.”…

SpaceX’s Starhopper Rocket Prototype Blown Over By Powerful Winds – Business Insider

The top section of SpaceX’s shiny prototype of its giant Starship rocket fell over on Wednesday morning because of powerful winds.

“I just heard,” Elon Musk, the company’s founder, tweeted, confirming on-the-ground reports that the vehicle was no longer vertical. He added: “50 mph winds broke the mooring blocks late last night & fairing was blown over. Will take a few weeks to repair.”

A SpaceX representative independently confirmed to Business Insider that the top portion of the vehicle – called the fairing or nosecone – had fallen over because of high winds. The representative declined to comment further.

SpaceX’s facility is at the southern tip of Texas. A local resident, who asked not to be named, said winds were gusting at about 50 mph for much of Tuesday and picked up early Wednesday.

“From about 2 to 5, it was nothing but rattling and metal and trees breaking. It felt like a hurricane,” the resident said…

The young girl reportedly told the investigators she was raped by 31-year-old Hector Montez. Investigators said Montez picked her up from school in March 2018 after talking with her on social media. She told him she needed a ride after school.

She said he drove her to a remote area and stopped his vehicle. She claims she repeatedly told Montez to take her home but he refused, investigators told the local newspaper. He then held her down and sexually assaulted her, she stated…

Sheriff: Armed Robber Demands Drugs, Is Shot And Killed By Pharmacist – Breitbart

Louisiana’s St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office says an armed robber entered a drug store Monday, demanded drugs, and was shot dead.

The Sheriff’s Office used a Facebook post to explain that deputies were called to the drug store just before six o’clock p.m. and arrived to find “that a masked man entered the store with a handgun and ordered the clerk and the pharmacist behind the counter and demanded drugs.”

There was a struggle, during which the pharmacist pulled his own gun and shot the suspect, who fled the store and died a short distance away.

WDSU reports that a subsequent update from the sheriff’s office reveals that the suspect used a zip tie on the hands of the store’s clerk but “the pharmacist was able to get his gun before the suspect used a zip tie on him.”

Supreme Court Rules Pentagon Can Limit “Transgender” Military Service While Lawsuits Proceed – Fox News

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed the Pentagon to restrict military service for transgender individuals while the Trump administration’s policy is litigated in the lower courts.

The ruling reversed the orders implemented by lower courts, which had prevented the Pentagon from proceeding with the plan. The issue brought a 5-4 conservative-liberal split, with Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan voting to keep the block on enforcement in place, while the five conservative justices, including Justice Brett Kavanaugh, voted to allow the policy to go into effect.

The court’s decision, though, does not apply to the policy’s legality, or President Trump’s authority to issue the ban. The decision was simply related to the policy’s enforcement while the case continues to go through litigation at the lower courts.

Annual Report: Planned Parenthood Did 332,757 Abortions In Fiscal Year 2017 – CNS

Planned Parenthood released its 2017-2018 annual report over the weekend, revealing that the organization did 332,757 abortions in the fiscal year that ran from Oct. 1, 2016 to Sept. 30, 2017. Planned Parenthood also reported that it received $563.8 million in revenue from “government health services reimbursements & grants” for the year ending June 30, 2018.

The 332,757 abortions Planned Parenthood says it did in fiscal 2017 was 11,373 more than the 321,384 abortions Planned Parenthood reported doing in fiscal 2016 (Oct. 1 2015 to Sept. 30, 2016).

Planned Parenthood’s government funding also increased, according to the report. The $563.8 million it received in government reimbursements and grants in the year that ended on June 30, 2018 exceeded by $20.1 million the $543.7 million it received in the year ending June 30, 2017.

Tappan Zee Bridge Is Demolished On The Hudson River – New York Post

After spanning the Hudson River for more than six decades, a big chunk of the old Tappan Zee Bridge was toppled in a controlled blast Tuesday to the delight of hundreds of onlookers.

The east anchor of the venerable bridge dropped into the frigid river shortly before 11 a.m. with a flash of fire as chains kept the wreckage above the surface of the water. Its remnants will be salvaged and recycled.

Feds Spend $1,788,748 On Virtual Reality Game For Young Gay Men – Washington Free Beacon

The National Institutes of Health is spending over $1.7 million on a virtual reality game for young men who have sex with men.

“Tough Talks” is a virtual simulation that allows young gay men to practice how to tell their partner they have HIV, using virtual reality technology. A technology training company – Georgia-based Virtually Better, Inc. – as well as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies are creating the game.

Sixty-seven percent of young gay men do not disclose their HIV status to first-time sex partners, according to the grant behind the study. Researchers see virtual reality as a solution.

Violent Mob Repelled In Attempt To Storm U.S. Border In San Diego – Washington Times

A “violent mob” of illegal immigrants tried to ring in the new year by rushing the border in California, and Border Patrol agents fired tear gas at them to repel the incursion, Homeland Security officials said Tuesday.

About 150 people were involved in the attempt to climb over and burrow under a section of border fence in San Diego on New Year’s Eve night. After they were blocked, one group grew more combative, firing rocks over the border to try to hit agents. The Border Patrol fired tear gas, smoke and pepper spray rounds at the group of rock-throwers, said Customs and Border Protection.

The migrants said they were part of the caravan of people from Central America who arrived at the border over the last couple of months, escalating what had already been a strained border security regime.

2018 Holiday Shopping Season Best In Six Years: $850 Billion In Sales, Up 5.1 Percent From 2017 – Breitbart

American Consumers helped the 2018 holiday shopping season be bright as they spent more than $850 billion online and in stores – the strongest showing in six years. Those sales also represent a 5.1 percent increase from the 2017 holiday shopping season, according to a report published this month by Mastercard.

The latest denials followed Brown’s annual Christmas Eve clemency actions that included 143 pardons and 131 commutations. Nine of the 10 inmates whose commutations were rejected had been convicted of participating in homicides.

The Kremlin says Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to talk with President Trump after the U.S. canceled a formal meeting weeks ago in Argentina. Putin sent his “best wishes” in a year-end message to Trump, state-owned TASS reported Sunday.

“Russian-U.S. relations are a key factor of ensuring strategic stability and international security,” Putin said. The outlet also said Putin confirmed his readiness to talk with the U.S. on a wide array of topics.

Record Number Of Illegal Aliens Tried To Buy Guns This Year – Medium

The FBI this year has turned away a record number of illegal immigrants trying to buy guns, according to a new report of background checks.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System said that it rejected 7,836,600 planned purchases from “illegal/unlawful alien” in 2018. And that was at the end of November. Christmas purchases of guns are typically high and were not included.

That number has been increasing in recent years. In 2017, it was 7.3 million. The year before, it was 7 million rejections. In 2015, it hit 6.6 million.

Illegal immigrants rank at the top of those on the FBI’s “prohibited category.”

NFL Ad Revenue Crashes Due To 2017 Ratings Decline Over Anti-American Kneeling – Breitbart

The National Football League’s 2018 ad revenue has sharply declined due to the crashing television ratings the league suffered in 2016 and 2017, according to reports.

The NFL’s TV ratings suffered a precipitous loss over the previous two seasons, with the 2016-2017 numbers down 10 percent. TV ad pricing is based on previous ratings periods, and so these declines seriously cut into the ad prices that the league could charge for the 2018 TV season.

Because of the bad numbers from last season, ad revenue fell 19 percent in the first two months of the 2018 season, Bloomberg reported.

“The effects of the lower audiences last year are spilling into this season,” said James Fennessy, chief executive officer of advertising research firm Standard Media Index.

Since Friday’s tremor, the strongest to strike The Last Frontier since a 7.9 in the remote Rat Islands in 2014, the U.S. Geological Survey has recorded 166 aftershocks of magnitude 3.0 or higher around Anchorage as of 4:50 p.m. PST Sunday, USGS geophysicist Brad Aagaard told USA TODAY. Earthquakes of 3 or higher are strong enough to be felt.

There have been hundreds of smaller disturbances: 1,406 aftershocks of at least magnitude 1.0.

But while that Luke escaped with stolen Death Star plans, this Luke was caught in 2017 after police say he helped steal more than 40 road signs in April of 2017, the Elizabethton Star reported. The total value of the signs was about $2,300, according to the paper.

As of Monday, he was still being held without bond at the Carter County Detention Center, according to jail records.

‘Spectacular’ Diabetes Treatment Could End Daily Insulin Injections – New Times

A potential medical breakthrough that could put an end to the daily insulin injections endured by people living with diabetes has been unveiled by Dutch scientists.

By destroying the mucous membrane in the small intestine and causing a new one to develop, scientists stabilised the blood sugar levels of people with type 2 diabetes. The results have been described as “spectacular” – albeit unexpected – by the chief researchers involved.

In the hourlong procedure, trialled on 50 patients in Amsterdam, a tube with a small balloon in its end is inserted through the mouth of the patient down to the small intestine.

Christian News Site ‘LifeSite’ Blacklisted By Web Host – Breitbart

LifeSite, a Christian pro-life news outlet, was allegedly blacklisted by its web host and given just 12 hours to find another host the website, or risk being offline.

“LifeSite just received an email at 8:30 p.m. EST from our web-hosting company alerting us that they will be taking our website down within 12 hours, if not sooner,” claimed LifeSite in a statement, Saturday. “We received absolutely no forewarning whatsoever about this decision.”

Police Looking For Man Who Ejaculated Onto Woman On Manhattan Subway – WPIX

The NYPD is asking the public’s help identifying a man accused of ejaculating onto a woman while they were aboard a train in Manhattan.

The incident happened on Monday, Oct. 1 at about 8 a.m. aboard a southbound D train.

Police said the 27-year-old victim was standing near the back of the car when an unknown individual boarded the train at the West 59th Street and Columbus Circle station and stood behind her.

When the train stopped at the following stop at the Rockefeller Center station, the victim realized the man ejaculated onto her buttocks and backpack, police said.

Police provided a cellphone photo of the alleged assailant.

The individual is described to be about 25-years-old and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black pants…

Atlanta To Pay Out $1.2 Million To Christian Fire Chief After Violating His First Amendment Rights – Daily Wire

Former Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran was terminated from his position after writing a devotional book in his off-time which briefly discusses Biblical views on sex and marriage.

After a December 2017 ruling found that the city discriminated against Mr. Cochran and violated his First Amendment rights by firing him for expressing Christian views with which they disagree, the city council on Monday agreed to pay out $1.2 million to the former chief for damages and attorneys’ fees, reports Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the organization which represented Mr. Cochran.

“The government can’t force its employees to get its permission before they engage in free speech. It also can’t fire them for exercising that First Amendment freedom, causing them to lose both their freedom and their livelihoods,” said ADF Senior Counsel Kevin Theriot.

Theriot said he hopes the pay-out “will serve as a deterrent to any government that would trample upon the constitutionally protected freedoms of its public servants.”…

Man Sentenced To 6 Months In Jail For Having Sex With His Dog – Circa

A man in Aurora, Colorado has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty after getting caught having sex with his dog. Frederick Manzanares was sentenced to six months in prison and two years probation. Manzanares allegedly participated in sexual acts on the dog with his former girlfriend, KDVR-TV reports.

The incident occurred in the backyard of his trailer home. The dog, a male Akita mix, unfortunately won’t be able to recover and will have to be euthanized. The dog has become extremely aggressive and can’t be given away for adoption, KDVR reports.

“This dog cannot safely be adopted,” Judge Cheryl Rowles-Stokes said as she sentenced Manzanares, according to Patch. “This dog cannot safely be transferred… This dog cannot recover.”…

Organizers of the annual Davos conference ranked the United States first in their ranking of the world’s most competitive economies for the first time in a decade Wednesday, saying the No. 1 spot reflects a new methodology and long-term factors more than recent policies of the Trump administration.

The World Economic Forum said its “Global Competitiveness Report” is based on nearly 100 separate factors in a dozen categories that have been reworked slightly to better reflect today’s rapidly changing, increasingly digitized world economy.

In durable goods, which is the category that includes most metals-using industry, there were 286,000 openings. That’s up from 229,000 a year ago. Two years ago, there were just 200,000. CDC Confirms 62 Cases Of Polio-Like Illness Across U.S. – The Hill

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating 127 suspected cases of a polio-like condition that mostly affects children. The CDC said that 62 of those cases have been confirmed in 22 states in 2018.

Acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) is a rare but serious condition that can cause paralysis, drawing comparisons to polio. AFM primarily impacts the nervous system and weakens muscles.

There isn’t a cure for AFM and the CDC does not yet know its long-term impacts. The causes of the condition aren’t clear, but the CDC said it could be caused by other viruses, environmental toxins and genetic history.

“We are actually looking at everything. We are looking beyond the normal infectious diseases that can cause this,” said Nancy Messonnier, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.

Washington Archdiocese Publicly Names 31 ‘Credibly Accused’ Predator Priests – Daily Caller

The Archdiocese of Washington, to foster “transparency and accountability,” released a list Monday of 31 clergy members “credibly accused” of sexually abusing minors since 1948.

Cardinal Donald Wuerl, whose resignation as archbishop of Washington was accepted Friday amid mounting furor over his alleged complicity in sexual abuse cover-ups, released the list in an effort to help the archdiocese heal from wounds of abuse and distrust.

Of the clergy members named, none are still active in ministry, 28 were archdiocesan priests, three were priests of independent religious orders, 13 were never arrested and 14 are still alive, according to The Washington Post.

Former cardinal Theodore McCarrick was not included on the list because he was not a priest of the archdiocese when he allegedly committed acts of abuse.

Closing In On Clinton-Justice Russia Collusion Conspiracy As Middleman Pleads The Fifth – Washington Times

Congressional Republicans are collecting evidence to show an extensive, election year, anti-Trump conspiracy between Hillary Clinton operatives such as Fusion GPS and Barack Obama appointees at the Justice Department and the FBI.

The investigation took a new turn last week. Fusion co-founder Glenn Simpson decided to invoke the Fifth Amendment rather than testify under subpoena before a special House Republican task force.

The Republicans see Mr. Simpson as the key middleman between Justice and the Clinton campaign. He orchestrated the Democrat-financed dossier on which the FBI built its early investigation of candidate Donald Trump. Republicans believe the unproven dossier, with its charge of extensive Trump-Russia collusion, is a sham perpetrated by Democrats and the press.

Python Falls Through Bank Ceiling Onto Staff Morning Meeting In China – The Independent

CCTV captured the moment a python fell through the ceiling of a bank directly into a staff meeting in Nanning City, South China. The 1.5-metre snake dropped in on bank employees during their morning meeting, according to Chinese news agency CCTV+.

The surveillance footage shows the large snake interrupting the meeting by falling between two bank employees. The bank clerks take a moment to respond to the surprise visitor before fleeing in all directions as the reptile slithers away between a set of chairs.

Fortunately, the reptile narrowly missed hitting any bank employees and no one was injured during the terrifying moment. A wildlife protection group arrived soon after to safely capture the animal and is currently storing the animal at a local protection centre…
