Donald Trump Meets With Newt Gingrich, Jeff Sessions, Jim DeMint And Other Top Conservatives In DC

Trump Summit: High Level Republicans Huddle With Frontrunner On Capitol Hill – Big Government

.
…………….

.
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump explained why he held a meeting in Washington, D.C. with members of Congress, lobbyists, and political operatives on Monday.

“Just to start getting together with some of the people that I’ve known over the years, politicians in just about all cases,” he said during his press conference at the Old Post Office, which is being renovated into Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

“They were senators or congressmen, [and president of the Heritage Foundation] Jim DeMint was there, who I have great respect for,” Trump told the press conference.

Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) reportedly did not know about the meeting.

Trump was asked if that was intentional. Trump said he’s “very inclusive,” and it wasn’t intentional for McConnell and Ryan not to be there.

Politico reports, “The handful of lawmakers who did attend – including Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) and Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) – were mainly those who had already endorsed Trump or voted for him in a primary, although Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), who also attended, is neutral in the race.”

Former GOP presidential candidate and Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was reportedly also in attendance.

Trump said the meeting was a “very good one,” with some of the “most respected people in Washington.”

Win-Win! Al-Qaeda Suicide Bomber Takes Out Several Top ISIS Leaders

Feel Good Story: Al-Qaeda Suicide Bomber Takes Out ISIS Leaders – Daily Wire

.

.
An al-Qaeda suicide bomber killed key ISIS leaders.

The bombing took place on a Nov. 15 Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade meeting, an ISIS terror group in the Golan Heights. Several top leaders were at the meeting, and six of them died. The suicide bomber was a part of Al Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate. The Islamic terrorist organization took credit for the attack over Twitter and called on ISIS terrorists to surrender themselves.

Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade responded, “The martyrdom of the leaders will only make us more determined. Blood and sacrifice is welcome for God’s sake.”

Alex Fishman, military correspondent for Yediot Aharonot, told Fox News, “The Islamic State [ISIS], that controls the closest area to the Israel border in the Syrian Golan Heights, suffered a severe blow and lost its entire top command in the area in one fell swoop.”

Fox also reported this:
.

Regional experts suggest the successful suicide mission against such a significant affiliate shows a degree of on-the-ground vulnerability on the part of ISIS. They say it could be interpreted as justification for those who argue that only ‘boots on the ground’ can truly deal a crushing blow to ISIS, whose reported underground hiding places ensure that while they will suffer casualties from airstrikes carried out by the U.S., France and others, such tactics are unlikely to deal them a mortal blow.

.
This would fall in line with what The Daily Wire’s Joshua Yashmeh was reporting on Monday.

The attack is a reflection of the rivalry between the barbaric Islamic terror organizations. Al-Qaeda doesn’t like the fact that ISIS kills other Muslims, ISIS think that al-Qaeda lacks “purity.” This rivalry could be very deadly, as TIME magazine’s Jared Malsin writes:
.

There is mounting evidence of the potential for a competition in which ISIS, al-Qaeda, their affiliates, and individuals inspired by the those groups attempt to match or surpass one another’s acts of killing. In the short term, one group may succeed in attracting more recruits and funding, more praise from their online acolytes. But in the long term this is a contest with no winners, only losers, the victims.

.
Regardless, the more al-Qaeda and ISIS kill each other instead of innocent civilians, the better.

Email-gate Update: Top Obama Adviser Throws Hitlery Under The Bus (Video)

Valerie Jarrett Throws Hillary Under The Bus On Email Scandal – Big Government

.

.
Obama White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett threw Hillary Clinton under the bus Wednesday at the Washington Ideas Forum, where she told interviewer Andrea Mitchell that the White House gave Clinton guidance forbidding her from using private email.

“Yes, there were. Yeah, absolutely,” Jarrett said when asked if the White House sent guidance to Cabinet secretaries about not using private email. “Obviously we want to make sure that we preserve all government records, and so there was guidance given that government business should be done on government emails and that if you did use a private email that it should be turned over.”

“That’s what she’s doing, as you said as recently as a few minutes ago,” Jarrett added. “And I think she has been asked about this multiple times, including by you Andrea. And I think she said, Look to do it again I probably made a mistake and I wouldn’t do it, and she’s working hard to comply with making sure that everything is pursuant to the Federal Records Act.”

The Donald Promises Top Republicans He Will Not Run Third Party

Trump Vows Not To Run Third Party – NewsMax

.

.
GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump has promised “several top Republicans” he will not run a third-party campaign, The Huffington Post reports.

The website said it spoke to “several sources,” who confirmed the news.

Top Trump aide Michael Cohen, however, would not confirm that his boss has completely ruled out an independent run if he doesn’t win the Republican nomination. Cohen did tell HuffPost, though, that Trump never had “any intent” of running under any other banner than the GOP.

“He just wanted to ensure that the establishment would treat him as fair as they would treat any of the other candidates,” Cohen told HuffPost. “And I believe right now they are treating him fairly. It is my personal belief that the RNC is treating Mr. Trump the same as the other candidates and he will live up to his agreement not to run as an independent.”

Trump himself, even while threatening a third-party run, essentially said the threat was intended to ensure the party would treat him as an equal to the other candidates — something he felt wasn’t happening early in his campaign.

Now, Trump appears to acknowledge that the threat actually could hurt his chances with loyal Republican voters, HuffPost noted.

Trump said he was open to the pledge a few days after the first GOP debate on Aug. 6, where he was the only candidate among the top 10 to raise his hand and say he wouldn’t promise to support the eventual party nominee and run as an independent.

Radio host Hugh Hewitt recently advised Trump against a third-party effort, because it would ensure a win for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Trump agreed it was a good argument.

But HuffPost noted that one of its Republican sources cautioned that any decision by Trump is subject to change “since he is known for his political impulsiveness. A stray insult from a fellow Republican could, theoretically, change his calculus.”

“[Fox News Chief Roger] Ailes thought he had a deal too. Then Trump called Megyn Kelly a bimbo, again,” one Republican operative said.

“Only Mr. Trump can sign that oath,” Cohen said when asked if Trump would make his announcement public. “And when he does, you can rest assured he will live by it.”

President Asshat Released Top Iranian Scientist As Part Of Nuke Deal; Left Americans To Rot In Hell

Obama Released Top Iranian Scientist As Part Of Nuke Deal; Left Americans To Rot In Hell – Gateway Pundit

On Wednesday Barack Obama lashed out at CBS reporter Major Garrett after he asked him about the four Americans left behind to languish in Iranian prisons.

Obama was defending his nuclear deal with Iran when Garrett asked him about the US hostages in Iran.

Obama: I got to give you credit Major for how you craft those questions. the notion that I’m content as I celebrate with American citizens languishing in Iranian jails… Major, that’s nonsense and you should know better.

Of course, that is exactly what he did.

The Obama administration did nothing to free American hostages during their talks with the Iranian regime.

.

.
Now we know…

Obama released a top Iranian scientist as part of the deal but left the Americans to rot in hell in Iranian prisons.

The Times of Israel reported:

Mojtaba Atarodi, arrested in California for attempting to acquire equipment for Iran’s military-nuclear programs, was released in April as part of back channel talks, Times of Israel told. The contacts, mediated in Oman for years by close colleague of the Sultan, have seen a series of US-Iran prisoner releases, and there may be more to come.

The secret back channel of negotiations between Iran and the United States, which led to this month’s interim deal in Geneva on Iran’s rogue nuclear program, has also seen a series of prisoner releases by both sides, which have played a central role in bridging the distance between the two nations, the Times of Israel has been told.

In the most dramatic of those releases, the US in April released a top Iranian scientist, Mojtaba Atarodi, who had been arrested in 2011 for attempting to acquire equipment that could be used for Iran’s military-nuclear programs.

No wonder he didn’t want reporters talking about it!

China’s Top Internet Provider Builds Headquarters That Look Like Starship Enterprise

Chinese Millionaire Builds Company Headquarters To Look Like The Starship Enterprise – Oddity Central

The headquarters of NetDragon Websoft – China’s most popular internet provider – looks quite conventional from the ground, but aerial footage shows that the building is actually a replica of the iconic Starship Enterprise!

NetDragon chairman Liu Dejian, a huge Star Trek fan and self-described ‘Uber Trekkie’, reportedly spent $150 million over a span of six years to construct the USS Enterprise-shaped office. When it was finally ready in 2014, he chose to remain rather low-key about it. But when a fan spotted a satellite image of the badass building – about the size of three football pitches – it eventually stirred up a social media frenzy. Drone footage was soon released online, making Star Trek fans all over the world drool with delight.

.

.
Mashable reports that the premises looks like a mashup of the Enterprise-E, Enterprise-D, and the starship design from the J.J. Abrams reboot movies, but die hard Star Trek fans disagree – they say it looks more like the Voyager. As smashing as its exteriors are, we’re not sure if the NetDragon office mimics the Enterprise’s cool interiors as well. Some reports suggest that it has a few awesome features inside, like automatic sliding gates, 30-foot slides connecting the third floor to the first, and a giant T-Rex replica.

.

.
Liu, whose $600 million fortune is larger than the Queen of England’s, is fondly called ‘big child’ by the Chinese media. The man is famous for indulging his employees and filling his offices with fun gadgets like pinball machines, batman toys, and segways. His obsession with Star Trek began when he was a student at the University of Kansas. So he reportedly obtained a special license from CBS, allowing him to build a replica of the spaceship.

Star Trek fans, if you aren’t able to make it to China, you can get a clear view of the office on Google Maps!

Corruption Update: Hillary’s Top State Department Aides Used Private Emails Too (Video)

Hillary’s Top Two Aides Used Personal Email At State Department – Weekly Standard

.

.
Stephen F. Hayes reported on Fox News that Hillary Clinton’s top two aides, Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills, used personal emails while working for the secretary of state at the State Department:

.

.
“Two of Hillary Clinton’s top aides used personal email while they were employed at the State Department, Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff. The State Department has evidence of this.

“And the question I think become: were they emailing with Hillary Clinton from their personal email addresses to her personal email address about State Department business, about Benghazi, including sensitive classified information? Those are questions that I think that Trey Gowdy and the House Benghazi committee is going to want to look at very carefully.”

Hayes went on to explain, “This is the key point. Yesterday, she said look, when I was doing State Department business I was emailing to people who on the receiving end of her emails had .gov email addresses and therefore the emails, the documents would have been retained. What this suggests is that others were using non-.gov emails, their personal emails, and if they communicated with her in that manner those emails with her will be lost unless they’re compelled to provide them.”
