Colorado School District Approves Circulation Of Satanic Literature To Students By Anti-Christian Nutjobs

Colorado School District To Begin Distribution Of Satanic Materials To Children – Big Government

.
…………….

.
After coming under fire from atheist groups for the distribution of free Bibles, the Delta County School District (DCSD) has approved the circulation of atheistic, secular and Satanic literature to middle and high school students.

Several atheist organizations, including The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF), Western Colorado Atheists and Freethinkers (WCAF) and the Satanic Temple, applied to distribute their literature as a challenge to the school district’s “open forum” policy that allows any group to distribute non-curricular literature to students, as long as it conforms to policy guidelines.

Kurt Clay, the Assistant Superintendent of the Delta School District, said if they are going to make literature for things such as Boy Scouts, 4H or other organizations available, they have to allow all types of information to be available to students.

“This is the other side of that,” explained Kurt Clay, the Assistant Superintendent. “The policy says we cannot discriminate what is handed out, we just have to follow the process.”

Certain exceptions exist, and the materials can’t advocate criminal behavior, violence or drug use, advertise commercial products, or be pornographic. The School District has appealed to this policy as a justification for distributing Gideon Bibles to students on school grounds during class hours.

In December, 2015, a Delta Middle School student complained about the offering of Gideon Bibles to students and the Western Colorado Atheist and Freethinkers said that the distribution of those bibles prompted their desire to distribute atheist material as well.

The distribution of the atheistic materials will take place on April 1, 2016. The proponents of the new materials say that they are offering Delta students an alternative way of thinking.

Some of the brochures to be offered to students include “Top 10 Public School State-Church Violations and How to Stop Them,” “What’s Wrong with the Ten Commandments?” and “The Satanic Children’s Big Book of Activities.”

Ann Landman with the Western Colorado Atheist and Freethinkers says the issue in play here is freedom of speech.

“Students are not only getting a lesson about the federal laws and our constitution, but also a different point of view that you can find around the world,” Landman contended.

But Western Colorado Atheist and Freethinkers have said that what they are really after is a change of policy, to separate religion and schools, and believe that by handing out provocative literature they will achieve this end.

The Delta School District has already stated that they are looking into revising their policy to continue providing materials that benefit students, but do not include material on religion or beliefs.

Your Daley Gator Our-Country-Is-Doomed Story O’ The Day

Fearful College Students Cry And Call For A Safe Space Because Someone Chalked “Trump 2016” On A Sidewalk – Daily Sheeple

.

.
You’re gonna think this came from The Onion, but I assure you it didn’t. This really happened here in America. This is the level we are at.

People are always talking about how they are afraid of terrorism. Or economic collapse. You know what I’m afraid of?

The younger generations of college students who have apparently been socially engineered to be complete and utter pansies who run crying to authorities any time someone disagrees with them and who beg to have everyone stripped of their First Amendment right to free speech because they apparently have the backbones of garden slugs.

These are the young adults of America’s “future”??

Look at this picture from the Emory Wheel, Emory University’s student-run newspaper:

.

.
You would think just by glancing at this that someone died.

Nope. This is a student response to someone chalking campus with “fear-inducing” pro-Donald Trump messages like… wait for it… “Trump 2016” on the campus of Emory University.

Check out this harrowing tale… if you dare!
.

The chalkings that generated such controversy appeared overnight throughout Emory’s campus. College junior Harpreet Singh said that, initially, he did not find the chalkings significant. “I saw one big one, ‘Trump 2016,’ so I thought it was an isolated incident and I didn’t think much of it,” he said. “I thought, ‘Okay, it’s just a guy who wants to write whatever he wants to believe in for his political campaign.’ I was like, ‘Okay, I’m fine with that, to a certain extent.’”

Singh reported having seen multiple chalkings that read “Trump 2016” between Cox Hall Bridge and the Dobbs University Center (DUC). “What I also saw on the steps near Cox [Hall] Bridge was ‘Accept the Inevitable: Trump 2016,’” he said. “That was a bit alarming. What exactly is the inevitable? Why does it have to be accepted?”

.
And THIS:
.

“I’m supposed to feel comfortable and safe [here],” one student said. “But this man is being supported by students on our campus and our administration shows that they, by their silence, support it as well… I don’t deserve to feel afraid at my school,” she added.

.
And also this:
.

“How can you not [disavow Trump] when Trump’s platform and his values undermine Emory’s values that I believe are diversity and inclusivity when they are obviously not [something that Trump supports]” one student said tearfully.

.
TEARFULLY??

This story, in all actuality, has nothing to do with Trump. Or even politics.

These are adult-aged manchildren and womenchildren who apparently cannot handle it when people have opinions that differ from their own, opinions which fall outside of the sphere of allotted politically correct opinions they have been propagandized and programmed with since their tiny tot days in the brainwashing centers that pass for American public schools these days.

Back to reality, we’re talking about CHALK.

Chalk writing on university sidewalks.

Chalk that disappears with the first hint of rain or eventually just wears off on its own.

Instead of getting their own chalk and writing their own message, or just simply ignoring someone who they disagree with politically, these college students began a protest and ran crying to the university president in fear trying to shut down free speech – a common scene on college campuses these days.

The students demanded that the university to publicly, officially disavow Trump (meaning, they wanted a university to openly take a political stance) and everything Trump stands for. The university would not because universities are not supposed to endorse political ideologies.

Here’s a picture of the meeting about it in the president’s office:

.

.
Look at how serious they are, as if sidewalk chalk is a real issue.

The university did respond by changing the campus chalking policy, however. Now if a student wants to write something on the sidewalk at Emory in chalk, they have to reserve the right through an online platform so it can be pre-approved.Way to uphold the First Amendment there, Emory.

In addition, the university is reviewing security footage to attempt to find the dastardly devil who dared to chalk “Trump 2016” on the sidewalk and terrorize these precious little snowflakes.

One wonders what happens to these “adults” once they leave the hallowed safe space that is their campus and they have to deal with the real world where no one cares if they are scared of chalk. A world where someone might – GASP! – put a “Trump 2016” sign in their own front yard, for example? A world where the news media might show pro-Trump rallies in the 2016 election coverage.

Do they fall down on the sidewalk and ball into a fetal position and weep? Drive their cars into a tree?? Do their heads explode like in the movie Scanners???

On a side note, these students are okay with seeing the words “Trump 2016” physically together without bursting into tears and cowering in fear so long as the word “stop” is with them.

Then that’s okay, apparently.

.

.
Notice the word “gently” in this paragraph… Better wrap up the meeting gently. Better not hurt these poor darlings by wrapping up the meeting like adults…

Yale Students Take Safe-Space Dumbassery To A Whole New Level

Hundreds Of Yale Students Still Protesting Halloween Insensitivity And Safe Space Meanies – Right Scoop

Yale students are out in force today in protests against racism stemming from remarks the administration made about… Halloween costumes. Just so you are clear, that is not a typo. As we previously reported at Right Scoop, the kids are pretty fired up about Halloween costumes.

.
…………….

…………….

.
Today they are out by the hundreds. You might think it is crazy to be this upset about Halloween costumes, but that is only because you don’t realize there was an email.
.

Tensions at Yale University hit a boiling point yesterday after an email about Halloween costumes created a week-long controversy on campus.

Students called for the resignation of Associate Master of Silliman College Erika Christakis after she responded to an email from the school’s Intercultural Affairs Council asking students to be thoughtful about the cultural implications of their Halloween costumes. According to The Washington Post, students are also calling for the resignation of her husband, Master of Silliman College, Nicholas Christakis, who defended her statement.

.
The idea that someone suggested that their Social Justice Warrior freakouts about costumes might be absurd has caused them to react totally reasonably by screaming in people’s faces and staging enormous pro-Halloween censorship protests. We shall overcome!

.
…………….

…………….

.
The entire thing has grown to epic proportions, as The Atlantic notes.

.
…………….

.
As you may imagine, and much like at Missouri, a huge part of the argument is about “Safe Spaces,” which is fast becoming the most absurd Orwellian euphemism for fascistic suppression of speech yet.

This is the American higher education system, folks. And soon the Democrats are going to make it “free” of charge, paid for by people with jobs who have better things to do than cry like infants about Halloween costumes they don’t like.

Harvard Law Students OUTRAGED That School Was Built With Slaveowner’s Money… Just Not Enough To Quit Harvard

Harvard Law School Was Built Using A ‘Brutal’ Slaveowner’s Money, And Students Are Starting To Protest – Business Insider

.
…………….

.
Slave owner Isaac Royall Jr.’s gift to Harvard college upon his death in 1781 allowed the formation of Harvard Law School.

Now, students at the law school are calling for the removal of the law school’s seal, which is the Royall family’s coat of arms, The Harvard Crimson reported.

The movement is being called “Royall Must Fall” and formally began on campus at the end of October with a rally of about 25 people.

“These symbols set the tone for the rest of the school and the fact that we hold up the Harvard crest as something to be proud of when it represents something so ugly is a profound disappointment and should be a source of shame for the whole school,” Alexander J. Clayborne, one of the law students involved, told The Crimson.

More largely, the students aims seem to draw attention to and correct the legacy of slave-owning on Harvard’s campus.

“We demand the removal of the Harvard family crest as the crest of the law school and we demand that the Royall Chair of Law be renamed as well,” Students for Inclusion, a student group on campus, wrote on its Tumblr page.

“We also demand that systemic oppression be recognized as pervasive and endemic to the law school and we demand that it be addressed by the faculty and by the student body at large.”

However, there are dissenting opinions on whether the school should change its seal.

Visiting law school professor, Daniel R. Coquillette, recently published a book called “The Saga of Harvard Law School,” which details the relationship between the Royall family and Harvard.

While he calls Royall “a coward, and a brutal slaveholder,” he doesn’t believe Harvard should change its seal.

“As a historian… you just deal with the fact that this guy founded the school and tell the truth about it,” he said. “To change things is to act like [they] didn’t happen, and that’s a mistake.”

Real Life ‘Minority Report’: Schools Assessing Students’ “Threat Level” From Kindergarten On Up

Pre-Crime Is Upon Us… “Schools Assess Students’ Threat Level” From Kindergarten Up – Zero Hedge

.

.
Minority Report, eat your heart out. The real system is worse than anyone could have imagined.

By now, everybody knows that the NSA and a host of other alphabet agencies are spying on Americans, collecting virtually every piece of communications data they exchange, regardless of whether or not they are “doing anything wrong.”

But what are they doing with it?

Apart from its value in consumer and marketing fields, the data is used to create “threat assessments” and put a black mark on the record of anyone who the authorities deem troublesome that will follow them throughout their career, and make it harder for individuals to get a job, qualify for a loan, travel, or enjoy the rights of a (now once) free society.

MassPrivateI reports:

Our government want us to believe that EVERY student is a potential threat and we need threat to stop them.

[…]

Every student is given a “THREAT ASSESSMENT” by police and school administrators!

Schools and police are using V-STAG to assess a ‘threat level:

“The Virginia Student Threat Assessment Guidelines (V-STAG) is a school-based manualized process designed to help school administrators, mental health staff, and law enforcement officers assess and respond to threat incidents involving students in kindergarten through 12th grade and prevent student violence.”

The war on terror is out of control! Watch out that kindergarten kid could be a threat!

This program and others like it have been developed at the federal level, with FBI involvement, and coordinated across local, state and private organizations. The idea, unfortunately, is to implement this watch-and-flag surveillance grid across the system at every level, and with every institution that people must participate in.

Hey, if it works for prisoners, it would be great for a once free society.

The intent of schools to nurture children and help them to learn and grow into responsible adults has been subverted by an intrusive and paranoid surveillance system that considers every mistake to be a warning of crimes and misdeeds to come.

And by treating everyone as a criminal before they even do anything, it probably creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The Secret Service has the audacity to call threat assessing of kindergarten students a safety concern. “The Final Report And Findings Of The Safe School Initiative.”

“The Safe School Initiative” was implemented through the Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center and the Department of Education’s Safe and Drug-Free Schools Program.

Every student is being PROFILED and given a risk assessment rating, according to the Secret Services article titled “Evaluating Risk For Targeted Violence In Schools: Comparing Risk Assessment, Threat Assessment and Other Approaches.”

What’s really being said is police and school administrators can put your kid(s) into mental health counseling which will follow them throughout their adult lives! Oddly there isn’t any mention of the school-to-prison pipeline!

Meanwhile, this system is designed to expand throughout a student’s life and merge with other emerging “threat assessment” systems that follow adults in the general population as well.

Colleges nationwide are using ‘Campus Teams’ to give their students sexual threat assessments, there is a “Legal Compliance and Sexual Violence Prevention Training” being held in Boston this July 27, 28th.

“This training will address the critical intersection between compliance with federal laws to address sexual and intimate partner violence, and the role that threat assessment can play in effectively addressing these issues.”

In adulthood, police departments and private employers are now also using threat assessment scores to profile and target against individuals who have raised red flags.

Think it’s just those have committed crimes and demonstrated what bad people they can be? Think again. Dissidents, outspoken critics, competitors and opponents will all get flagged as the system is abused by its controllers and used to hammer down any nail that dares to stick up.

This system will create a society of compliance and fearful people, not a free society free of crime and trouble.

Whether or not this system can actually prevent crime remains unproven, but its ability to tarnish the record of individuals and place entire populations under preemptive suspicion is certain… and likely dangerous.

Virginia Public School System To Teach Students That There’s No Such Things As Boys And Girls

Parents Furious Over School’s Plan To Teach Gender Spectrum, Fluidity – Fox News

.

.
One of the nation’s largest public school systems is preparing to include gender identity to its classroom curriculum, including lessons on sexual fluidity and spectrum – the idea that there’s no such thing as 100 percent boys or 100 percent girls.

Fairfax County Public Schools released a report recommending changes to their family life curriculum for grades 7 through 12. The changes, which critics call radical gender ideology, will be formally introduced next week.

“The larger picture is this is really an attack on nature itself – the created order,” said Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council.

“Human beings are created male and female. But the current transgender ideology goes way beyond that. They’re telling us you can be both genders, you can be no gender, you can be a gender that you make up for yourself. And we’re supposed to affirm all of it.”

The plan calls for teaching seventh graders about transgenderism and tenth graders about the concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum – but it sure smells like unadulterated sex indoctrination.

Get a load of what the kids are going to be learning in middle school:

“Students will be provided definitions for sexual orientation terms heterosexuality, homosexuality and bisexuality; and the gender identity term transgender,” the district’s recommendations state. “Emphasis will be placed on recognizing that everyone is experiencing changes and the role of respectful, inclusive language in promoting an environment free of bias and discrimination.”

Eighth graders will be taught that individual identity “occurs over a lifetime and includes the component of sexual orientation and gender identity.”

“Individual identity will also be described as having four parts – biological gender, gender identity (includes transgender), gender role, and sexual orientation (includes heterosexual, bisexual, and homosexual).”

The district will also introduce young teenagers to the “concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum.” By tenth grade, they will be taught that one’s sexuality “develops throughout a lifetime.”

“Emphasis will be placed on an understanding that there is a broader, boundless, and fluid spectrum of sexuality that is developed throughout a lifetime,” the document states. “Sexual orientation and gender identity terms will be discussed with focus on appreciation for individual differences.”

As you might imagine – parents are freaking out.

“Parents need to protect their kids from this assault,” said Andrea Lafferty, president of Traditional Values Coalition. “Who could imagine that we are in this place today – but we are.”

Last week, the school board voted to include gender identity in the district’s nondiscrimination policy – a decision that was strongly opposed by parents.

Lafferty, who led the opposition to the nondiscrimination policy, warned that the district is moving towards the deconstruction of gender.

“At the end of this is the deconstruction of gender – absolutely,” she told me. “The majority of people pushing (this) are not saying that – but that clearly is the motivation.”

LISTEN: Todd’s interview with the Family Research Council

School Board spokesman John Torre told the Washington Times the proposed curriculum changes have nothing to do with last week’s vote to allow boys who identity as girls to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of their choice.

He would have us believe it was purely coincidental.

To make matters worse, Lafferty contends parents will not be able to opt their children out of the classes because the lessons will be a part of the mandatory health curriculum.

However, Torre told me that parents will indeed be able to opt out of those classes “including the sexual orientation and gender identity lessons.”

I must confess that I’m a bit old school on sex education. I believe that God created male and female. My reading of the Bible does not indicate there were dozens of other options.

“They are not being forthright with the information,” Lafferty said. “They are not telling people the truth. They are bullying parents. They are intimidating and they are threatening.”

I must confess that I’m a bit old school on sex education. I believe that God created male and female. My reading of the Bible does not indicate there were dozens of other options.

However, I’m always open to learning new things – so I asked the school district to provide me with the textbooks and scientific data they will be using to instruct the children that there are dozens and dozens of possible genders.

Here’s the reply I received from Torre:

“Lessons have not been developed for the proposed lesson objectives,” he stated. “Because of the need to develop lessons, the proposed objectives would not be implemented until fall 2016.”

In other words – they don’t have a clue.

And the Family Research Council’s Sprigg said there’s a pretty good reason why they can’t produce a textbook about fluidity.

“It’s an ideological concept,” he told me. “It’s not a scientific one.”

He warned that Fairfax County’s planned curriculum could be harmful to students.

“It’s only going to create more confusion in the minds of young people who don’t need any further confusion about sexual identity,” he said.

The board will introduce the changes on May 21. Lafferty said she hopes parents will turn out in force to voice their objections.

Religion Of Peace Update: Al-Shabaab Terrorists Raid Kenyan University, Slaughter Christian Students

Are You Christian Or Muslim? What Al-Shabaab Gunmen Asked Kenyan Students As They Went Door To Door Furing University Massacre Killing At Least 15 And Injuring 60 – Daily Mail

Al-Shabaab terrorists interrogated students whether they were Christian or Muslim as they went door-to-door during this morning’s early morning massacre at a Kenyan university, killing at least 15 people.

The group raided the Garissa University campus shortly after 5am local time, overwhelming guards and killing anyone the suspected of being a Christian.

Kenyan Interior Minister Joseph Nkaissery said that only 280 of the 815 students in the college have so far been accounted for.

.

.

.
The terrorists stuck mid-way through Holy Week, the most solemn period in the Christian calendar. Tonight, the Christian students were planning to celebrate the Last Supper in preparation tomorrow for Good Friday.

Kenyan security officials said one of the terrorists has been arrested after he tried to escape the compound.

They have also offered a $220,000 bounty for Mohammed Mohamud, known as Dulyadin, alias Gamadhere, who they suspect of masterminding the attack.

Eye-witness Collins Wetangula, the vice chairman of the student union, said he was preparing to take a shower when he heard gunshots coming from Tana dorm, which hosts both men and women, 150 meters (yards) away.

The campus has six dormitories and at least 887 students, he said.

The remaining terrorists have been cornered in one of the four remaining dormitories according to Kenyan security officials.

He said that when he heard the gunshots he locked himself and three roommates in their room. ‘All I could hear were footsteps and gunshots nobody was screaming because they thought this would lead the gunmen to know where they are.

‘The gunmen were saying sisi ni al-Shabaab (Swaihi for we are al-Shabaab).’

Mr Wetangula said he could hear the gunmen interrogating fellow students hiding inside their rooms about their religion.

.

.

.

.

.
He said: ‘If you were a Christian you were shot on the spot. With each blast of the gun I thought I was going to die.’

The gunmen started to shoot rapidly and it was as if there was an exchange of fire, he said.

‘The next thing, we saw people in military uniform through the window of the back of our rooms who identified themselves as the Kenyan military.’

The soldiers took him and approximately 20 others to safety.

As they were running, al-Shabaab snipers on top of a three-storey building attempted to gun them down.

He added: ‘We started running and bullets were whizzing past our heads and the soldiers told us to dive.’

.

.

.

.
Fellow student, Augustine Alanga, 21, described a panicked scene as gunshots rang out outside their dormitory.

He said he saw at least five heavily-armed terrorists wearing masks.

He said: ‘I am just now recovering from the pain as I injured myself while trying to escape. I was running barefoot.’

He told journalists he crossed barbed-wire fencing to escape the massacre.

Mr Alanga said any students attending morning prayers at the university’s mosque at 5.30am were not attacked.

.

.

.

.
It is understood that some of the terrorists have taken sniper positions and have been shooting police officers trying to retake the campus

One policeman said: ‘I have counted 14 bodies of dead people being carried out of the campus by a Red Cross ambulance, and they include two of our officers who were also killed

‘We are finding it difficult to access the compound because some of the attackers are on top of a building and are firing at us whenever we try to gain entry.’

A spokesman for al-Shabaab said it was claiming responsibility for the latest atrocity.

Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al-Shabaab’s ‘military operations spokesman’ said: ‘We sorted people out and released the Muslims.

‘There are many dead bodies of Christians inside the building. We are also holding many Christians alive. Fighting still goes on inside the college.’

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed that a hostage situation had now developed between his men and the remaining gunmen, who are holding the students.

Troops have so far cleared three of the four dormitories.

President Kenyatta said he was going to fast-track the recruitment of 10,000 new police officers to tackle the al-Shabaab menace.

Just last week, the Chief Security Officer at the University of Nairobi feared an attack was imminent and issued a security warning – but it is unclear whether the same information was relayed to Garissa officials.

.

.

.
It’s believed the gunmen attacked in the early hours, ‘during morning prayers’, setting off explosions and exchanging gunfire with security services for several hours, Kenyan media and the Red Cross said.

Witness Milka Ndung’u told NTV that the gunfire was popping ‘like fireworks’ from about 5am local time.

Ms Ndung’u said she and other students ran for their lives and took cover in a nearby field, but when the gunmen took aim, they were forced to flee their hiding spot.

Another student, Augustine Alanga, told CNN he too was woken by the shooting and looked out to see colleagues running for cover.

Musa Yego said gunshots and explosions could be heard from a building on the campus, which is surrounded by police and a military compound.

.

.

.
A press release tweeted by Joseph Boinnet, the second Inspector General of Police of Kenya, confirmed the shooting began at 5.30am when attackers fired at guards at the main gate of the university.

‘Police officers who were at the time guarding the students’ hostels heard the gunshots and responded swiftly and engaged the gunmen in a fierce shootout,’ the statement from police reads.

‘However the attackers retreated and gained entry in the hostels.

Police further stated ‘they are currently engaged in an elaborate process of flushing out the gunmen from the hostels’.

Al-Shabab militants have previously vowed retribution against Kenya for sending troops to Somalia.

The Somalia-based group has carried out several attacks in Garissa and across Kenya, including the 2013 attack on an upscale shopping mall in the capital Nairobi.

Kenya sent its troops into Somalia in 2011 to fight al-Shabaab militants following cross-border attacks.

Last month, al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for attacks in the county of Mandera on the Somali border in which twelve people died.

Four of them died in an attack on the convoy of Mandera County Governor Ali Roba.

Police statistics show that 312 people have been killed in al-Shabaab attacks in Kenya from 2012 to 2014. Thirty-eight people were killed and 149 wounded in Garissa in the same period.
