Ironic Timing… Report: First Load Of Anticipated “10,000 Syrian Refugees” Has Arrived In New Orleans – Conservative Treehouse

This is very concerning. It would appear most of the “refugees” are economic jihadist males between the age of 18-45 years old. They have recently arrived courtesy of President Obama, Secretary Kerry and the State Department.

.

.

New Orleans – […] The first transport of refugees arrived in New Orleans recently and will be resettled in Louisiana and 180 other American communities.

[…] The 10,000 Syrian refugees are first flown to the United States, according to the French news wire Agence France-Presse, with the State Department paying the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the airfare.

Then, once the refugees arrive in the country, they could be dispersed across the 180 cities listed above, where they are to aided within the first 30 to 90 days in settling and finding employment in the area.

After approximately 90 days, refugees are no longer eligible for the State Department-funded support that they were receiving through migrant and refugee services. However, they are able to join support programs through the Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, it is unclear how much the screening process for the 10,000 Syrian refugees will cost American taxpayers.

The State Department spent $1.1 billion resettling people from around the world in the country last year. That’s about $16,000 per person. (read full article)

Another local New Orleans media outlet adds:
.

Fox8Live […] We turned to former New Orleans FBI chief and anti-terrorism expert Jim Bernazzani for insight on whether that’s a legitimate concern. Before coming to New Orleans, Bernazzani worked to ramp up the nation’s anti-terror strategies after 911.

“If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I’d take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States,” Bernazzani said. “Now with that said, the FBI is on top of this big time with our Joint Terrorism Task Force and we have what’s called a Terrorist Screening Center that these individuals will be run through.”

But make no mistake, not every refugee seeking admission to the U.S. would face such scrutiny.

“It’s going to be the 18- to 45-year-old male for the most part,” he said. “It’s a percentage game. It’s not fail-safe, but it’s a percentage game.”

Still, as more of the refugees take up residency in the New Orleans area, Bernazzani discourages fear.

“These are just people from another country trying to escape misery by virtue of a civil war,” he said. “We had our own civil war, and so I wouldn’t be worried, but I would be vigilant,” he said. (read more)

Police Chief Stole Tea Party Leader’s Identity; Registered Him On Gay Dating, Pornography, And Obamacare Websites

Police Chief Charged In Bizarre Feud With Tea Party Leader – PoliceOne

.

.
A police chief in Wisconsin pleaded no contest Friday to a charge that he signed a local tea party leader up on gay dating, pornography and federal health care websites.

Prosecutors charged Town of Campbell Police Chief Tim Kelemen earlier this month with one misdemeanor count of unlawful use of a computerized communication system. The La Crosse Tribune reported Kelemen entered the plea in a deal that calls for the charge to be dismissed in two years if he doesn’t commit any new crimes, continues counseling and completes 40 hours of community service.

The charge stems from a feud between Kelemen and tea party leader Greg Luce. It began last fall when the tea party began holding protests on an interstate overpass in Campbell. Concerned the protests were distracting drivers, Kelemen persuaded the town board to ban signs on the bridge.

Kelemen told investigators Luce urged tea party supporters across the U.S. to bombard his department with harassing phone calls and threats in retaliation for the ordinance.

Kelemen told investigators he tried to get back at Luce this winter by using his name, address, phone number and email address to create accounts for Luce on homosexual dating, pornography and federal health care websites. He told investigators he didn’t think what he was doing was a big deal.

La Crosse police turned the case over to Monroe County authorities.

Luce told Monroe County Circuit Judge David Rice on Friday that Kelemen is getting away with a “slap on the wrist.” He said he thinks Kelemen has suffered a psychological breakdown and shouldn’t be allowed to carry a gun or wear a badge again.

Kelemen didn’t address the court.

Luce has filed a lawsuit in federal court alleging the sign ordinance violates his free speech rights and demanding damages from Kelemen for stealing his identity. The town board has placed Kelemen on paid leave.

Florida: Registered Sex Offender Charged With Raping Neighbor’s Dog

Registered Sex Offender Charged With Raping Neighbor’s Dog – Weekly Vice

James Lee Lyons, a 52-year-old registered sex offender, was jailed Monday after he allegedly raped his neighbor’s dog.

.
…………………

According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, a man walked into a Sheriff’s Office outpost Monday stating that he wished to press charges after learning that one of his dogs had been sexually abused by a next-door neighbor.

Investigators say the man explained that he attempted to bring his two dogs inside the house last Saturday after noticing that it was beginning to storm outside.

When one of the dogs failed to come to the house, he checked around his yard and a nearby shed to no avail.

Moments later, Lyons was seen walking out of the same shed with the lost dog in his arms. Lyons told his neighbor that he found the dog in the shed, however the neighbor found the story odd since he had just looked inside the shed a few moments earlier.

Throughout the day, the man noticed that the formerly-missing dog walked like it had been injured and acted withdrawn. The man took his pet to a local vet who confirmed that the animal had been injured in a manner that would be consistent with sexual abuse or bestiality (injured rectum).

The Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit investigated the case and arrested Lyons as a result.

Lyons was booked into jail and charged with animal cruelty and sexual activity involving an animal. His bond has been set at $11,000.

Lyons was convicted in 1998 on charges of attempted sexual battery on a child and sexual act with a child while in a familial role.

According to state records, he was also charged and convicted of sexual battery/coercion of a child by an adult in 2007.
