Elizabeth Warren folks
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, seizing on an explosive op-ed from an anonymous administration official, said Thursday that it’s time to use constitutional powers to remove President Donald Trump office if top officials don’t think he can do the job.
“If senior administration officials think the President of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment,” Warren told CNN. “The Constitution provides for a procedure whenever the Vice President and senior officials think the President can’t do his job. It does not provide that senior officials go around the President — take documents off his desk, write anonymous op-eds … Everyone of these officials have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It’s time for them to do their job.”
Booming economy, ISIS decimated, very low unemployment, booming GDP, a revitalized military………. Sounds like Trump IS doing his job, and America is reaping the rewards. No wonder leftist Warren is so agitated
All I can say is thank you Mr. President
The Trump administration late Friday announced that it had cut $200 million in U.S. aid to the Palestinian Authority until it can ensure this American taxpayer money will not be used to fund terrorism, according to U.S. officials who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon.
The announcement follows the recent passage of the Taylor Force Act in Congress, a bill aimed at providing greater oversight over how U.S. taxpayer dollars fund the Palestinians. The PA has for years been accused of using aid dollars to pay accused terrorists and their families annual salaries.
President Donald Trump directed his administration to freeze $200 million in aid dollars allocated to the PA for economic support, according to an announcement by the State Department issued just a short time after lawmakers on Capitol Hill were informed of the move, sources said.
One senior U.S. official familiar with the decision to cut U.S. aid told the Free Beacon the administration will no longer enable the Palestinian Authority and those in the Hamas terrorist government to use aid dollars in their war against Israel.
Collusion, collusion, collusion. That is all we hear, but, as Brat points out is whether or not a crime was committed is the important thing. We know the media is eager to get Trump on something, anything. We know that Democrats are using these stories/accusations/hyperventilating to deter the administration’s agenda. Could the president handle some of this better? Yes, of course. Should President use Twitter in a better way? Yep he could, and should.
As already stated, most of the “Russia hacked the election” narrative is baloney. It is a nothing burger with extra nothing! The Republicans should, in my view, let the Democrats wail and whine. Republicans have the majority in both houses, use them! Scrap the filibuster, stop letting Chucky Schumer deter the agenda. Democrats do not play nice, why should Republicans? Repeal ObamaCare rather than trying to keep most of it, get meaningful tax reform done, address the budget. And, if Democrats wish to help in any of those processes great. If not, then make damn sure to let the American people see who the party of no is. If the Democrats want to hold meaningless hearings, let them! Stop playing the Democrat’s game of delay, delay, and delay. In short lead!
The American people have given the GOP a majority of governorships. They have voted overwhelmingly for GOP majorities in legislatures across the nation. They voted for a Republican majority in the House, and in the Senate. They elected a Republican president. Given these facts Republicans ought to be able to see the writing on the wall. Americans gave the GOP a to do list. Now the GOP needs to start checking off items on that list!
