More Proof That Leftists Are Dumber Than Dirt… As If We Needed More

California To Force Porn Actresses To Wear Safety Goggles On Set – Downtrend

.

.
In their never ending quest to control all aspects of life with silly regulations, the liberal ninnies that run California have come up with a long list of safety rules for porno film shoots. Among other things, they want to require actors and actresses to wear safety goggles while performing sex scenes. It would seem as if the state has become every adult in the movie A Christmas Story: “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”

The California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board released a 21-page proposal of porno regulations. If you find it funny that the state is pushing this volume of rules for porn shoots, it’s even more hilarious that they spent 5-years of hearings and research to come up with this stuff.

One of the big recommendations is to make condom use mandatory for all filmed sex scenes, something Los Angles passed into law recently. As unenforceable as that is, there’s even more hard-to-regulate regulations:

No one on a porn set would be allowed to pick up broken glass with their hands. They’d have to use a broom and dust pan.

Porn actors would not be allowed to share razors or any personal grooming devices.

Porn sets would have to be covered in plastic protective coverings capable of keeping the area safe from contamination.

There’s a set of rules regarding the cleaning of dildos.

Porn producers would have to provide soap to the actors that is not irritating.

Anyone handling clothing, including the actors, must wear latex gloves.

And the best of the bunch: If there is to be a facial “money shot” actors and actresses would have to wear eye protection. In fact, the facial as we know it would be outlawed by these regulations:

6. Barrier protection for the eyes, skin, mouth, and mucous membranes. The employer shall not permit ejaculation onto the employee’s eyes, non-intact skin, mouth or other mucous membranes.

In addition to this stuff, there are pages and pages of regulations requiring that porn producers provide vaccinations, laundry service, and my favorite: that they post warning signs on the set. It’s not real clear what these warning signs should be, but I imagine “Caution: Splash Zone” would do the trick.

In addition, there are 10 different regulations related to condom use, including mandatory lubricant. If a porn actor changes the point of entry, he must then remove the condom and put on a new one.

Cal/OSHA is holding public hearings on their massive porn regulation proposal and will soon make a decision on whether to implement these rules or not. This being California, it’s a given that they will vote in favor of unrealistic unenforceable regulations.

I think it will be hilarious to see a porno shot with all of these rules in place: the walls and furniture are covered in plastic drop cloths, the actor and actress are wearing latex gloves and safety goggles, every time they switch positions the actor stops to apply a new condom and lubricant, when it’s over crew members in biohazard suits rush in to quickly decontaminate the set. It should be pretty hot.

Porn Found In Osama Bin Laden Compound

Porn Found In Osama Bin Laden Compound – The Register

Osama bin Laden’s compound may not have had phone or internet service, but it did have porn. Lots of it.

According to Reuters and ABC News, the massive smut stash was seized by the US commandos who stormed his Abbottabad, Pakistan, hideout and shot him in the face almost two weeks ago. It was found in a wooden box in bin Laden’s bedroom and was referred to as “huge” and “extensive” by officials.

There’s no direct evidence that the electronically recorded videos were viewed by the al Qaeda chief, but that’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Other video recovered by Navy Seals showed bin Laden sitting on a floor watching himself on TV, so there’s reason to believe he had the ability to view video.

The porn is part of what officials said is a trove of information taken during the 38-minute siege two weekends ago. Electronic and handwritten materials detailed al Qaeda terrorist plots, which are said to have included the assassination of US President Obama and strikes on water utilities and railroads. Intelligence officials have learned more about the radical Islamist group in the past 10 days than in the previous 10 years combined, ABC News said.

Hustler Fined $14K For Not Using Condoms In Porn

Hustler Fined $14K For Not Using Condoms In Porn – CBS News

California workplace safety officials have fined Larry Flynt’s Hustler Video and another porn producer for not using condoms on set to protect sex performers from exposure to disease.

Hustler faces $14,175 in fines for three violations, including failure to provide condoms or other protective equipment, according to a Division of Occupational Safety and Health citation provided to The Associated Press Wednesday.

Hustler “failed to ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment, such as condoms” to protect its employees from semen, vaginal excretions and blood in the course of producing adult videos, according to the citation.

The current fines are based on the same section of state law that also requires hospitals to provide nurses with protective gear to spare them exposure to blood-borne and fluid-borne illnesses.

Flynt has said in the past that audiences don’t want to watch porn in which actors use condoms.

Hustler was also fined for failing to maintain a written injury and illness policies and for failing to provide workers with vaccines for hepatitis C.

Hustler’s citation stems from a Sept. 14 inspection of a jobs site in response to a complaint from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that advocates for safe sex in pornography.

Forsaken Pictures faces $12,150 in fines for similar violations. The fines were issued March 9.

Cal/OSHA Senior Safety Engineer Deborah Gold said the state continually investigates the porn industry, though job sites can be difficult to find, and has cited a handful of producers for violations in recent years.

“Clearly if an employee is having unprotected sexual contact with another person then there needs to be either engineering control, like simulation, or people need to use a condom or other barrier,” Gold said.

A telephone message seeking comment left by The Associated Press wasn’t immediately returned by a Hustler representative. Contact information for Forsaken couldn’t be located.

Late last year, a porn actor tested positive for HIV at a California clinic, causing panic among actors. Some San Fernando Valley pornographers in the multi-billion-dollar adult entertainment industry shuttered productions as a precaution.

Make my porn AMERICAN please!

Hey, don’t blame me, RS McCain said it!

Unlike the Bush administration, which allowed greedy offshore porn producers to compete for Labor Department contracts:

Contractors must now prove that any Russian pornography used in fulfilling U.S. government orders was made without children.
That’s the bizarre message that U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration sent out this week when its Labor Department placed Russian pornography
on a blacklist of products that “might have been mined, produced or manufactured by forced or indentured child labor.”
The 29-item list, published on the Labor Department’s web site on Monday, “is designed to make sure that federal agencies do not buy products made with forced or indentured child labor,” according to a fact sheet on the department’s web site. . . .
“[The blacklist] requires federal contractors who furnish such a product to make certifications designed to help ensure that forced or indentured child labor was not, in fact, used to make the product,”
the fact sheet says.
It was not clear Tuesday when and why the U.S. government might require contractors to provide pornography from Russia or any other country.
