Trump Administration scolds Useless Nations over bogus Israel report

Why do I refer to the U.N. as the Useless Nations? If you have to ask…………

H/T The Right Scoop

Nikki Haley and the Trump administration didn’t take lightly a United Nations report co-written by a known anti-Israel scholar that accused Israel of being an apartheid state:

FOX NEWS – A United Nations report co-authored by anti-Israel scholar Richard Falk on Wednesday accused the U.S. ally of being “guilty of the crime of apartheid” – triggering a furious response from the Trump administration, which demanded the U.N. “withdraw” the study.

America’s U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley blasted the report as “anti-Israel propaganda” in a statement late Wednesday.

“The United States stands with our ally Israel and will continue to oppose biased and anti-Israel actions across the UN system and around the world,” Haley said.

The report was commissioned by the U.N Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia. While apartheid originally was associated with South Africa, the report said Israel’s policies today meet the definition of “an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination” by one racial group over another.

The report inflamed already-frayed tensions between the U.N. and the Trump administration. Haley blasted Falk while urging the secretary-general to go further.

“That it was drafted by Richard Falk, a man who has repeatedly made biased and deeply offensive comments about Israel and espoused ridiculous conspiracy theories, including about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, is equally unsurprising,” Haley said. “The United Nations Secretariat was right to distance itself from this report, but it must go further and withdraw the report altogether.”

Good for Kid Rock!

Via Moonbattery

Kid Rock responds to moonbats who demand he join them in denouncing the Rebel Flag:

“Please tell the people who are protesting to kiss my … ask me some questions.”

Finally someone who doesn’t cringe and apologize before these thugs.

AMEN! This is what idiots like Governor Haley fail to grasp. She did this to appease the race baiters, and she can count on one thing. These same folks will stab her in the back at first opportunity. The same Democrats who are praising her, and praising this buffoon will call them racist as soon as they see political benefit in doing so. Political cowardice is NOT leadership, denying the people of South Carolina a chance to share their views is not leadership. It does not show anything but a lack of respect for the citizens of South Carolina, and a willingness to surrender to the Cultural Stalinists who will target the American flag next.

Hey kids, who is ready for some Liberal Tolerance?

Oh no! That rascally South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley, who dares to be a Conservative even though she is both a woman and a minority got a VERY politically incorrect Christmas gift. What will Liberals on Twitter do? Embrace Haley, and actually be tolerant? Or launch violent, hateful tweets at the governor?

What do you think?

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley received a brand new Beretta PX4 Storm pistol for Christmas. While she was extremely happy with the gift, liberals predictably responded with hateful messages, including wishes she would kill herself with it, Twitchyreported Friday.

“Our family had a wonderful Christmas together! I must have been good Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm,” shetweeted.

“Please God, use it on yourself. Like before New Years,” one person said in response.

“I hope you don’t accidentally shoot someone in your family with it. Actually, I don’t really care either way,” another person said.

Yet another person falsely claimed Haley was somehow promoting murder by posting a picture of the pistol.

“I know where she should stick it,” one person exclaimed.

Some refused to understand why Haley would want or need a gun.

“No clue as to why our governor needs a handgun,” tweeted “Katie Thompson.”

Setting aside for a moment the fact that the Constitution allows for the private ownership of guns, Haley was the target of a parent volunteer who was arrested earlier in December for threatening to kill the Republican governor.

S.C. Governor Haley Names Tim Scott To Replace Jim DeMint In U.S. Senate

S.C. Governor Haley Names Scott To Replace DeMint In Senate – Washington Times

Rep. Tim Scott, who emerged from a modest upbringing to become an icon of the conservative tea party movement, on Monday was appointed by South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to replace the resigning Sen. Jim DeMint, a fellow Republican.

Mr. Scott, who won a second term to the House last month, will be the Senate’s first black Republican from the South since the late 19th century.

The governor said Mr. Scott – rumored to be her top choice all along – has the political “courage,” fiscally conservatism and pro-business acumen to serve the state and nation well.

“He knows the value of a dollar. He understands what every family and small business goes through, and he has stayed consistent to that,” said Mrs. Haley, a Republican, during a news conference at the state Capitol to announce her decision.

“This man loves South Carolina, and he is very aware that every vote he does affects South Carolina and affects our country.”

Mrs. Haley, whose parents were Indian immigrants, brushed aside the notion that Mr. Scott’s race was a positive factor in her decision.

“It is very important to me, as a minority female, that Congressman Scott earned this seat,” she said. “He earned this seat for the person he is. He earned this seat for the results he has shown. He earned this seat for what I know he’s going to do in making South Carolina and making our country proud.”

Mr. Scott, who asked for a moment of silence for the victims of the Newtown, Conn., school shooting before he spoke at the Columbia news conference, thanked God, Jesus and his mom for helping him navigate life.

“When you start out in a single-parent household with a mom who works 16 hours a day, and you’re looking at a future that doesn’t look at bright, and you’ve living in North Charleston, S.C., you build a strength that comes from having the appreciation and understanding that it’s not about you, that it’s about your faith, it’s about our family,” he said.

Mr. Scott vowed to continue his fiscally conservative approach that helped him first win election to the House in 2010, when the tea party movement spurred a Republican wave that helped the GOP win control of the chamber.

“Our nation finds itself in a situation where we need some backbone. We need to make very difficult decisions,” he said. “If you have a problem in spending, there’s not enough revenue to make up for it. We have a spending problem, ladies and gentlemen, in America, not a revenue problem.”

Mr. DeMint, another tea party favorite who was rumored to be pushing for Mr. Scott’s appointment, thanked the governor for “her good judgment.”

“Tim, I could not be happier today,” said Mr. DeMint at the news conference. “I can walk away from the Senate knowing that someone is in this seat that is better than I am, that will carry that voice of opportunity conservatism to the whole country in a way that I couldn’t do.”

Mr. DeMint will step down in January, and in April assume the presidency of the Heritage Foundation, one of the nation’s leading conservative think tanks. He became a major electoral force beginning with the 2010 elections, helping promote tea party candidates in primaries against establishment GOP favorites, including Mr. Scott.

Mrs. Haley last week said she wouldn’t appoint a “placeholder” for Mr. DeMint’s seat, saying she wanted her pick to be someone who would consider seeking re-election to the seat in 2014.

Mrs. Haley said Monday she’s confident Mr. Scott easily will win election back to the Senate in two years.

Mr. Scott will be sworn in to the Senate on Jan. 3.

Fiscal and social conservative groups also praised Mrs. Haley’s decision.

“Congressman Scott is a fighter for limited government and pro-growth policies in Washington, and we can’t wait to see him in the Senate,” said Chris Chocola, president of the influential free-market group Club for Growth and a former Republican congressman from Indiana.

Others who reportedly were on the governor’s shortlist to replace Mr. DeMint were Rep. Trey Gowdy, former state Attorney General Henry McMaster, former first lady Jenny Sanford and Catherine Templeton, director of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.

Jim DeMint to resign from Senate

Byron York gives us the story

Conservatives are stunned at news that Jim DeMint, one of the truly conservative stalwarts in the Senate, has decided to resign in order to join the Heritage Foundation.  DeMint will leave the Senate in January.

DeMint, 71, was elected in 2010 for a term that will last through 2016.  His successor will be appointed by South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley.  Haley’s choice will serve in the Senate until a special election in 2014.

DeMint’s departure is not only a blow to conservatives and Republicans.  Even though he had said that this would be his last term in the Senate, DeMint had obviously signed on to serve through January 2017, and now he’ll be leaving four years early.  What about that commitment to the people of South Carolina?

“Obviously we have a big rock star bench in South Carolina, and Jim’s always been about bringing new leaders in,” says a member of DeMint’s circle.

Happy for Sen. DeMint, and I pray that his replacement will be as stalwart as he has been.

Justice Department rules that ID’s are racist!

OK, actually they ruled that making people prove who they are, and that they actually have a right to vote is racist somehow. Now you might be thinking how could THAT be racist? Well, because it might discriminate against Democrats trying to steal elections silly!

Details at The Lonely Conservative

The Washington Post reported that Eric Holder and the Department of Justice have nixed South Carolina’s voter ID law. Therefore, the state will either have to re-write the law, or take it to court.

Under the 1965 Voting Rights Act, several of the states that enacted voter-identification laws are required to receive federal “pre-clearance” to ensure that the changes don’t affect minority political power.

In its first decision on one of those new measures, the Justice Department said Friday that South Carolina’s law will discriminate against minority voters, though the department declined to take a position on whether the alleged discrimination was intentional. The law, passed in May and signed by Gov. Nikki Haley (R), requires voters to show a driver’s license or one of several other forms of photo identification.

Officials in South Carolina could not immediately be reached for comment Friday afternoon. The rejection leaves the state with the option of trying to get the law approved by a federal court or passing another law and submitting it to the Justice Department. (Read More)

If it’s discriminatory to require people to show ID to vote, why is it not discriminatory to require identification when flying, driving a vehicle, purchasing alcohol or cigarettes, entering a state or federal building or cashing a check?

Occupy Nutbag Arrested For Threatening To Kill South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley

Occupy Nutbag Arrested For Threatening To Kill South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley – KITV

A South Carolina man is accused of threatening the life of Gov. Nikki Haley on Facebook, but he claims he was only making a point about free speech.

When 26-year-old Nathan Shafer heard about the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last Wednesday, he did what lots of people do when they get angry – he vented about it on the Internet. He saw Gov. Haley’s Facebook post about the arrests and Haley’s comment that she “appreciate[s] freedom of speech,” and that’s when authorities say Shafer crossed the line.

“I hope someone murders you before I do,” Shafer said he commented on the post. “How’s that for freedom of speech?”

The next day, Shafer says two State Law Enforcement Division agents visited him in Charlotte to discuss the comment. Shafer says he retracted and deleted his statement, promised he wasn’t serious and apologized to the Haley family.

Still, Shafer says SLED agents called him again on Tuesday and told him he’ll be prosecuted for the alleged threat. Shafer turned himself in at noon on Wednesday at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

“I just think the whole situation is completely ridiculous and blown out of proportion,” Shafer wrote shortly before his arrest.

Threats against public officials are naturally taken very seriously, even when a comment was supposedly made in jest. In July, however, a federal court ruled that a man who posted online statements calling for President Barack Obama’s assassination was merely exercising his free speech rights.

At issue, according to the court, is whether a “reasonable person” would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. In Shafer’s case, that remains to be seen.

Liberal Alan Colmes is a perfect illustration of the absolute intellectual bankruptcy of Liberals!

Via News Busters! If Alan Colmes, the winner of today’s Marxist Moron Award, ever wonders why no one takers him, or any other Liberal talking head seriously, he should just refer him self to this exchange! Check out how Colmes just keeps repeating the same old accusations of racism against the Tea party. Pathetic!

Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of the Saturday, January 1, Fox News Watch:

JON SCOTT: Alan, I’m going to guess that you think the media coverage of the elections was pretty fair.

ALAN COLMES: I think they were pretty fair. I mean, are you going to say they’re not? Is that the meme of this show? To knock the media for that?

SCOTT: For instance, the Tea Party. Tea Party always got favorable coverage, right? Or fair coverage?

COLMES: Oh, they got, look, the Tea Party was a bunch of angry white guys who went around and put up racist signs at these-

JUDY MILLER: Angry white guys?

COLMES: -at these events on lawn chairs who had nothing better to do on weekends than sit on lawn chairs with signs suggesting Obama was a Muslim who wasn’t born in this country.

JIM PINKERTON: Give Alan credit for summarizing the mainstream media-

COLMES: Oh, the mainstream media, the evil mainstream media.

PINKERTON: Alan just did it.

CAL THOMAS: We’ve seen this media blindness before. We saw it in 1979, 1980 when Bill Moyers came on PBS wondering where all these church-going, flag-waving, patriotic people came from. They didn’t know because they don’t hang out on Sunday mornings or in other places where these conservatives go. We saw the same thing with the Tea Party movement. The media are always shocked, shocked to see these people turn up at the polls and actually do something.

COLMES: How many blacks did they elect? How many blacks are in the Republican Party? How many Hispanics did they elect?

PINKERTON: The Tea Partiers elected two – Allen West and Tim Scott, Florida and South Carolina.

THOMAS: You’re just a counter, that’s all.

COLMES: I’m a counter?

THOMAS: Yeah, you’re a counter

COLMES: No, I’m actually a chair. What do you mean, I’m a counter.

THOMAS: Well, you know, you go by numbers that if you don’t have the exact balance.

COLMES: I’m simply saying, you’re going to tell me, wait a minute, you believe the Tea Party is not basically a white male movement? You don’t think that?

THOMAS: Not all male, no. Look at the women who were elected. Look at the ones who were-

PINKERTON: Tell that to Nikki Haley-

THOMAS: Exactly what I’m saying.

PINKERTON: -Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell.

COLMES: But I’m saying, look at these rallies, you look who’s there, and you look at what the profile is.

MILLER: I saw an awful lot of women.

COLMES: I mean, the Republicans needed to get a black guy to head the RNC in order to make it look fair and balanced.

PINKERTON: The Republicans hired a black guy to prove they weren’t racist?

COLMES: Yeah, right. Look, let’s bear one thing in mind. This country is ethnically 70 percent white. Okay, in any given random group of people-

COLMES: Not for long.

PINKERTON: Well, okay, right now, three-fourths of the people in a crowd will be white. And if that offends you, too bad.

COLMES: No, but it’s more than three fourths people at the – it doesn’t offend me, Jim – but more than three-fourths of the people at these events were white and male.

PINKERTON: It does seem to offend, it does seem to offend you. You call them racist.

MILLER: They were not male.

COLMES: Of course they were.

MILLER: There were many, many women. There were mama grizzles, as Sarah Palin called them.

COLMES: I’m sure there were a few mama grizzlies there.

MILLER: There were many mama grizzlies.

PINKERTON: The best example was the guy at some Tea Party rally, and they showed a picture – he was carrying a gun – and MSNBC ran the picture of him saying here’s a Tea Partier with a gun, and then somebody else found out the picture was actually an African-American guy
