Right On Cue, President Asshat Uses Kalamazoo Murders To Push More Neo-Nazi Gun Control Measures

Obama On Kalamazoo: More Needs To Be Done On Gun Control – The Hill

.

.
President Obama on Monday condemned a weekend shooting rampage in Kalamazoo, Mich., calling it a stark example that more needs to be done to prevent gun violence in America.

The president said he phoned the mayor, police chief and sheriff in Kalamazoo to offer federal assistance in the investigation.

“Their local officials and first responders did an outstanding job in apprehending the individual very quickly,” he told a meeting of the National Governors Association at the White House. “But you’ve got families who are shattered today.”

Obama cited a series of executive actions he took last month designed to expand background checks on gun purchases, but he added that “it’s clear we’re going to need to do more to keep innocent Americans safe.”

An Über driver allegedly killed six people and injured two others during a Saturday shooting spree in Kalamazoo. The man, identified as police as Jason Brian Dalton, reportedly picked up passengers between shootings.

Obama cited last year’s mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., by Islamic State in Iraq and Syria sympathizers as an incident that terrorized the nation, adding “here’s a hard truth, we probably lost even more Americans than that this weekend alone.”

“I’ve got to assume that all of your are just as tired as I am of seeing this stuff happen in your states,” the president continued.

“So that’s an area where we need to partner and think about what we can do in a common-sense way, in a bipartisan way, without some of the ideological rhetoric that so often surrounds that issue.”

The shooting in Kalamazoo was just the latest mass incident of gun violence that has occured in Obama’s presidency.

Obama has delivered forceful, emotional calls for new gun laws after shootings in Newtown, Conn., in 2012 and Charleston, S.C. in 2015.

But the president has repeatedly been stymied by Republicans in Congress in passing new gun laws, such as universal background checks and an assault weapons ban.

In January, Obama issued a new executive actions clarifying which gun sellers are required to conduct background checks on buyers.

Low-Life Coward Murders Deputy Sheriff At Gas Station In Houston, Texas (Video)

Man In Custody After Deadly Ambush In Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy – KTRK

.

.
A person of interest is in custody after the deadly ambush of a Harris County sheriff’s deputy, fatally gunned down without warning Friday night while filling up his patrol car at a northwest Harris County gas station.

We’ve learned the person of interest is inside the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in east Houston and continues to be questioned. So far, no one has been charged.

Deputy Darren Goforth, 47, had just left an accident scene last night when he stopped by a gas station on Telge and West Road. As he was pumping gas, a man approached him from behind, said nothing and fired multiple shots. Once the deputy fell to the ground, authorities say the suspect fired more shots. Deputy Goforth was pronounced dead on the scene.

An intense manhunt covered Harris County for hours overnight. At about 2:30am, authorities converged on a home on Crystal Lake in Copperfield, led there by a tip. The focus of the investigation is on the red pickup truck in the home’s driveway. The person of interest was taken into custody at what’s said to be his mother’s house. His identity has not been released.

The man’s mother – who didn’t want to show her face or give her name – told Eyewitness News her son is innocent. She said, “My son is innocent. I was in the house with him, so when that happened, my son was home.”

Authorities arrested a suspect in the deadly ambush of Deputy Darren Goforth after an all-night manhunt.

Goforth was a 10-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the west district patrol. He leaves behind a wife and two children.

“This is a very tough moment right now for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. I can ask you if you give us your prayers and your thoughts,” said Deputy Thomas Gilliland with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “It’s tough enough being a deputy and being in law enforcement in this country right now, but for people, the way that they are right now, I have no words for what this type of person did.”

Officers had described the suspect only as a dark-complexioned man who’s about 5 feet 11 inches tall. He had short hair, possibly a fade cut. He was wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts at the time of the shooting and fled the scene in a dark red Ford Ranger.

“It strikes us all at the heart of public service,” said Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman, who vowed to hunt the suspect down. “”I’ve been in law enforcement 45 years. I don’t recall another incident this cold-blooded and cowardly.”

“It’s an act of cowardice and brutality the likes of which I’ve never seen,” added Harris County DA Devon Anderson.

Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls tweeted this message of support this morning: “Despite the cowardice attack last night, we will continue to provide professional (law enforcement) services to our communities. Be careful out there.”

Dr. Kevin Pigg, Senior Pastor of Crossbridge Christian Church, felt moved to come out and pray with deputies overnight.

“That just rips my heart out, seeing anyone die, especially one who protects us like that,” he said. “You could just see the officers holding back the tears. I just felt led to pray with them.”

A witness named Mackenzie, who declined use of her last name, heard the shots ring out.

“We were driving on West Road and we heard the shots, and when I turned and looked, the lady was screaming over top of him. So we busted a U-turn into the parking lot and that’s when we saw what had happened,” she said.

The witness says she saw a woman sobbing over Deputy Goforth’s body.

“She was laying on top him. She was saying that was her best friend and that he had two kids,” Mackenzie said.

Mackenzie says the suspect was gone by the time she had pulled into the parking lot and called 911.

This shooting marks the first time a Texas law enforcement officer was fatally shot this year. This is the first officer slaying in the Houston-area since 2012.

Bob Goerlitz, president of the Harris County Deputies Organization, said the incident was “shocking.”

“We’ve been warned of things like this, because of public sentiment nationally and events over the last few years… It’s just horrific. That’s the only way to describe it.”

We’ve learned the non-profit, the 100 Club, is assisting Goforth’s family. The 62-year-old organization said today they will give the family a $20,000 check to help with any financial needs. The organization added in a statement today, “Additional financial support for the dependent family, which averages $300,000 per tragedy, will be made after an assessment of their needs is conducted.”

Obama Regime Celebrates Islamic Holiday On Same Day Muslim Murders Four Marines In Tennessee

White House Celebrates Muslim Holiday On Day Muhammad Murders Four Marines – Breitbart

President Barack Obama sent a celebratory message to Muslims around the world on the White House Twitter account nearly two hours before his first tweet on the subject of four dead Marines killed by an Islamic gunman.

“From my family to yours, Eid Mubarak!” – @POTUS to Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr,” the White House tweeted. This message was tweeted at 4:48 p.m. according to the White House Twitter feed.
.

.
A few minutes before the posting of this article, the White House tweeted a video message, shown below, calling the shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a “heartbreaking circumstance.” Others might call the incident “a terrorist attack.” This message was tweeted at 6:08 p.m. according to the White House Twitter feed.

.

.
On Thursday afternoon, Breitbart News reported a claim by the Chattanooga Times Free Press identifying the shooter who killed four Marines in an attack on an armed forces recruiting center in Chattanooga as Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez. It was not clear if this was the man, or if it was his father.

“A U.S. official says the gunman in the shootings in Tennessee has been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez,” according to the Associated Press.

CNN has also reported the shooter being identified by the FBI as Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24. He was killed at the scene.

The incident is being investigated by the FBI terrorism task force.

The president has been criticized this week for a number of insensitive moves regarding the deaths and captivity of Americans. Earlier this week, President Obama remained silent on the death of Kate Steinle, the woman murdered by a previously deported illegal alien, as reported by Breitbart News’ Alex Swoyer.

That same day, Breitbart News’ Jeff Poor reported about the president’s chastisement of CBS White House correspondent Major Garrett over his questioning the president’s negotiations with Iran that left four Americans in captivity in the wake of his nuclear arms agreement.

Illegal Alien Felon Released From Prison Murders Woman, Stuffs Her Body In A Closet

Illegal Immigrant Released From Prison Murders Woman, Stuffs Her Body In Closet – Gateway Pundit

Jean Jacques is an illegal immmigrant who was released from prison in January.

Police arrested him in June for murdering a Connecticut woman and stuffing her body in a closet.

.

.

WTNH reported:

A Haitian immigrant who was released from prison in January after serving a sentence for attempted murder is back in custody on a murder charge in the death of a Connecticut woman last month.

The Bulletin reported that Jean Jacques’s prison file was marked “Detainer: Immigration” and that Connecticut officials say he was released in January to the custody of the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

His crimes also included the illegal use of a gun during a 1996 deadly shooting, qualifying him for deportation to his native Haiti, the newspaper reported. ICE spokesman Shawn Neudauer told the newspaper federal privacy laws prohibit him from discussing Jacques’ case.

On Monday, the 40-year-old Jacques was in New London Superior Court to answer to murder and drug charges, stemming from the June 15 stabbing death of Casey Chadwick at her apartment in Norwich, the city where Jacques lived before he went to prison. The 25-year-old woman’s body was found stuffed in a closet.

Jacques was brought in a wheelchair after he refused to enter the courtroom willingly. He also kept his eyes closed, refused to respond to court officials, and would not talk to a Creole interpreter or one of his public defenders…

…The Bulletin reported that at his June 25 arraignment in Norwich Superior Court, Judge Kevin McMahan said: “You had a murder conviction and you weren’t deported? OK.”

Norwich Police Chief Louis Fusaro Sr. said it was discomforting that Jacques wasn’t deported after his prison release.

Thanks Barack… ‘Dreamer’ Accused Of Multiple Murders Was Spared Deportation By Obama

Gang Member Facing Murder Charges Was Spared Deportation Under Obama Program – Fox News

.

.
The Obama administration has admitted that an illegal immigrant and known gang member – who recently was charged in the murders of four people – was allowed to remain in the United States under President Obama’s executive actions.

Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez was allowed in August 2013 to remain in the U.S., following his request about seven months earlier to stay under the president’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Leon Rodriguez.

Rodriquez acknowledged in a letter to a top Republican senator that Rangel-Hernandez’s application was approved, even though a federal crime database indicated he was a “known gang member.”

“Based on the standard procedures and protocols in place at the time, the DACA request and related employment authorization should not have been approved,” said Rodriguez, in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who had raised questions about the case.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, in an interview Wednesday on Fox News, declined to address the Rangel-Hernandez case specifically – or whether illegal immigrants who engage in criminal activity are being allowed to stay in the U.S. under DACA or similar executive actions. (DACA is intended to give a deportation reprieve to some illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.)

“Let me tell you what DACA is about,” Psaki told Fox News. “It’s not about not only giving a path [to citizenship] to individuals who are in the United States. It’s morally right… I can’t go into detail on every specific case. This is something that there are a number of steps in place that we take to look at who benefits from it.”

Rangel-Hernandez, originally from Mexico, is now charged with first-degree murder in connection with the killings in February in North Carolina of four people, including former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Mirjana Puhar.

“This statement by USCIS confirms what we have feared – that USCIS is not doing a thorough job reviewing the individuals who it allows to stay in this country under the president’s deferred action program” Grassley said in a written statement.

“It’s no secret that USCIS staff is under intense pressure to approve every DACA application that comes across their desk. And based on this information, it’s clear that adequate protocols are not in place to protect public safety. The fact is that this tragedy could have been avoided if the agency had a zero-tolerance policy with regard to criminal aliens and gang members.”

At the time his request was considered, Rangel-Hernandez already was in deportation proceedings. He earlier came to the attention of Immigration and Customs Enforcement after a 2012 arrest for marijuana possession, for which the charges were subsequently dismissed.

Rodriguez, in his letter, said there is “no indication” that immigration officers were aware at that time he was a known gang member. However, he said a separate database indicated he was. He said USCIS has provided new training.

Illegal Alien Charged With Aggravated Rape Of 10-Year-Old Girl – CNS

.

.
Hermes Rivera, a 25-year-old illegal alien living in Kenner, La., has been charged with three counts of aggravated rape against a 10-year-old girl, according to reports from the local ABC affiliate.

Rivera was arrested after the girl’s mother, who was reportedly dating Rivera, saw a video on her daughter’s cell phone on April 16 in which the girl claimed she and Rivera had “made love.”

“The mother confronted her daughter about the video, at which time the 10-year-old disclosed the sexual acts occurred in their bedroom,” a press release from the Kenner Police Department stated.

“Once speaking to her daughter, the mother confronted her boyfriend, Hermes Rivera, who then admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse with her daughter on three different occasions,” the police said.

When police arrived on the scene later that day, Rivera admitted to having sex with the young girl three times between March and April 3, 2015, claiming that “she asked him to have sex with her,” police said.

Lt. Brian McGregor of the Kenner Police Department told CNSNews.com Wednesday that local police had not been able to locate a prior criminal history for Rivera.

“This individual had no prior criminal history, at least not locally that we were able to find,” McGregor confirmed.

The press release stated an immigration detainer has been placed on Rivera.

The tragic story is similar to an incident in March, when Ramiro Ajualip, a 27-year-old illegal alien, was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy of a 10-year-old girl in Russellville, Ala.

Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said Ajualip had been in the country about four weeks when the incident occurred in February and was actually living in the home of his victim as a family friend, according to WHNT 19 News. The report stated Ajualip allegedly raped the girl while her family was not home, then threatened her to keep her quiet.

After the girl told her parents what had happened, Ajualip was arrested and confessed to the attack, the report said.

At the time of the report, Ajualip was being held in the Franklin County Jail under a $150,000 bail.

Judge Orders Girl Back To Home Of Guardian Whose Sex Offender Roommate Then Rapes Girl, Murders Guardian

Girl Raped After Judge Sends To Sex Offender’s Home – WorldNetDaily

Charges are being considered against a Texas judge who sent a minor back into the home of a guardian who was living with a sex offender who later murdered the guardian and raped the juvenile, according to a lawsuit.

.
……….

Also, three Texas teachers were indicted for failing to tell authorities about the student’s report of threats from the sex offender, the suit notes.

The consequences of the judge’s decision and the actions by the teachers were severe: The student was tied up and raped by the sex offender, who also murdered her guardian in front of the student, according to the lawsuit in Caldwell, Texas.

The Texas Center for Defense of Life late Tuesday filed the action on behalf of the juvenile, identified only with the initials S.R.L. The case seeks a court ruling that the teachers and judge “breached their duty” to the juvenile and compensation.

The defendants in the case are teachers Bliss Bednar, Vance Skidmore and Bradley Vestal as well as the Caldwell Independent School District and a retired judge, Terry Flenniken.

“There is no excuse for Judge Flenniken’s poor decision,” said TCDL attorney Greg Terra. “He knew exactly what the minor was dealing with in her home situation and that she lived with Edward Clinton Lee, a registered sex offender, and yet still sent her back to live with him and her guardian instead of granting the petition to release her to her biological mother.”

.
……….

The court filing states S.R.L. was living with Jean Slovacek-Storm, who previously had been married to S.R.L.’s grandfather. Edward Clinton Lee, a registered sex offender, also was living in the home.

The juvenile’s mother, Angela Belcher, had tried to get her daughter out of the living arrangement through the courts months earlier when S.R.L. became pregnant at age 15 with her 15-year-old boyfriend, but she was rebuffed by Flenniken.

The judge was considering a legal request by TCDL to remove S.R.L., during her pregnancy, from the home where she was living with Slovacek-Storm and Lee.

In that case, Flenniken interviewed S.R.L. privately in his chambers.

In the interview, according to an affidavit, the juvenile told the judge of the threats from Lee. Lee, the statement said, “had repeatedly asked S.R.L. to take off her clothes, even offering her $20 to strip down in front of him.” Also, “S.R.L. would move the dresser against the door, rearranging her room to keep Lee out and going so far as to sleep in her day clothes and not in pajamas so that Lee would not be able to see her change.”

She also reported to the judge Lee would come into the bathroom while she was showering to take pictures.

Flenniken apparently disregarded the girl’s statements.

“Flenniken returned to the courtroom with S.R.L. without making any report to the police about the reported sexual offenses and propositions,” the lawsuit alleges. “Flenniken had no discretion, based on his special relationship with S.R.L. not to intervene and protect S.R.L… Action was mandatory.”

Then on the morning of June 29, 2012, “about four months after Flenniken sent S.R.L. back to the home of Lee, a registered sex offender, Lee shot and murdered Jean Slovacek-Storm and violently sexually assaulted S.R.L., tying her up,” according to the lawsuit.

“S.R.L. eventually escaped her bonds, left the house through a window, and ran naked down the street to a local school where she found a police officer. On April 30, 2013, Edward Clinton Lee plead[ed] guilty to aggravated sexual assault of S.R.L. and aggravated kidnapping of S.R.L. in conjunction with his plea to capital murder, and was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole.”

.
……….

The case alleges that the teachers also knew of the dangers and had not only an opportunity but a responsibility to call authorities long before the assault and murder occurred.

In a statement by Terra that was released to WND, he reported that S.R.L. was in Bednar’s English class and was instructed to write about “the best or worst things that has ever happened in their life.”

Terra said: “S.R.L. asked Ms. Bednar if she could write about something that was happening to her right now. Ms. Bednar responded that she may do so if she changed the names.”

The essay “details the sexual abuse and sexual assault of ‘Sandra’ by ‘Phillip,’” he continued.

But after the essay was turned in, according to Terra, “Edward Clinton Lee and Jean Slovacek-Storm had been contacted by Assistant Principal Vance Skidmore and Principal Bradley Vestal regarding the paper.”

Lee and Slovacek-Storm “strongly admonished S.R.L. for ‘lying in her paper to get Eddie in trouble,’” Terra reported. “S.R.L. was immediately driven to the school and forced to apologize to Bednar, Skidmore, and Vestal for ‘lying’ in her paper.”

The lawsuit alleges once the educators received the knowledge of S.R.L.’s situation, they “had no discretion and were required to report” to authorities.

“Had they reported the abuse outcry, S.R.L. would like not have suffered aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping,” the lawsuit alleges.

Skidmore, Bednar and Vestal have been indicted on a Class A misdemeanor counts of failure to report, and their cases are pending.

According to Terra’s statement regarding the case, the Texas attorney general is reviewing Flenniken’s involvement and “will consider whether any criminal charges will be filed again him.”

Additionally, TCDL is filing grievances against Flenniken with the Texas state bar as well as the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

School officials declined to respond to a WND request for comment, and Flenniken declined comment when asked by AP.

“So much pain and agony could have been spared for the girl and her family if Judge Flenniken did what any judge in the country would have done and ordered the girl out of the home of the sex offender,” said Stephen Casey, attorney at TCDL. “The shock and horror of what happened to this girl will have lifelong repercussions. The school officials also failed her by not following the mandatory training and reporting of the abuse outcries. Had they adhered to the law, this tragedy would likely have been prevented.”
