Homeowner Schools Pushy Cops On His Constitutional Rights (Video)

Man Shuts Down Ignorant Cops With Knowledge Of His Rights – Mr. Conservative

This video poignantly illustrates just how important it is to know your Constitutional rights. After two cops attempted to enter his home without a warrant, Avel Amarel schooled them with his healthy knowledge of what they were and were not permitted by law to do.

Once again, we have an instance of law enforcement abusing their authority. The cops who showed up at Amarel’s door tried to get inside the residence based solely on the fact that they were “looking for a wanted felon.” When Amarel asked them for ID, the officer appeared dumbstruck, and replied, “You want to play games?” He also appeared to have quite a problem with the fact that Amarel was videotaping the exchange.

Two Thugs Vs. Lone Armed Homeowner Turns Out To Be A Really Unfair Fight… For The Thugs – The Blaze

An armed Georgia man opened fire on two suspected robbers when they smashed their way into his home on Thursday morning. He reportedly shot one of the suspects in the face before they both ran for their lives.

The homeowner reported hearing noises at the door and found two robbers forcing their way into his house in broad daylight. A few moments later, “he heard somebody crashing open the back window,” Gwinnett County police Cpl. Ed Ritter told WSB-TV.

“He called police and apparently was on the phone with 911 at the time this was happening and at that time he fired the weapon at the suspects,” he added.

After the robbers scrambled to get away from the armed homeowner, one of the suspects dropped his accomplice off at the Gwinnett Medical Center so he could get treatment for the gunshot in his face that resulted from the attempted robbery.

Police found and identified the injured suspect as 22-year-old Tajh Guillont. His condition wasn’t immediately available.

“A second suspect left the hospital in a black passenger car. Police released photos of the man seen wearing a blue shirt and camouflaged shorts,” WBS-TV reports.

Gun-Toting Homeowner To Burglar: ‘If You Move, You’re Gonna Go To The Morgue’

Homeowner Tells Burglar: ‘If You Move, You’re Gonna Go To The Morgue’ – The Blaze

An Ohio woman held a would-be burglar at gunpoint until police arrived, warning him, “if you move, you’re gonna go to the morgue.”

.

Tammy Takach of Steubenville was sleeping Thursday morning when a noise in her home woke her up. She told WPXI-TV she grabbed her gun and went downstairs to find an intruder who’d entered through a window holding an air conditioning unit. He begged her not to call the police.

“He stood up and put his hands up,” Takach told WTOV-TV. “He said, ‘I’m just going to go. I’m sorry,’ and I said, ‘The only place you’re going to go is jail, and if you move, you’re gonna go to the morgue, because I’m going to blow your f-ing head off.”

Takach kept the gun aimed at him the entire time until police arrived. Upstairs, Takach’s son was still asleep, completely unaware of what was happening.

Ryan Geary, 23, was arraigned Friday on charges of burglary and possessing criminal tools. If convicted, he could face up to nine years in prison.

.

Takach’s husband, Anson, said the family owns multiple firearms but that it was the first time his wife ever had to use one in a situation like that.

“We go to the range as much as we can. We own a lot of firearms,” Anson Takach told WTOV. “I’ve had extensive training with firearms, so I teach her and my son how to be responsible and to remain calm in situations like that.”

Ellis County Homeowner Exchanges Gunfire With Intruders – KXAS

Authorities have confirmed that the two people fatally shot in Ellis County during a violent home invasion Wednesday were two teenagers wanted in Oklahoma.

The Pottawatomie County, Okla., Sheriff’s Office confirmed late Wednesday night that Kenneth Chaffin, 17, and Dillon King, 18, were killed south of Maypearl.

Ellis County investigators earlier said that the duo appeared to have died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds while exchanging gunfire with the homeowner.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said a homeowner in the 2100 block of Bee Creek Road exchanged gunfire with the two men. Investigators said his wife called him as he was pulling up to his home and said she saw two armed men trying to enter their house through the back door.

The homeowner ran inside, got his gun and then exchanged gunfire with the men.

Ellis County Sheriff Lt. James Saulter said the homeowner shot one man, but that it appears both died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

The homeowner sustained a superficial wound and was treated and released by paramedics on the scene.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said Chaffin allegedly stole nine handguns, six rifles and two shotguns, as well as more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

Saulter said deputies found a red pickup truck 200 meters from the home that was stolen in Oklahoma. A Pottawatomie County undersheriff told NBC affiliate KFOR-TV that Chaffin stole the pickup.

Deputies also found several weapons on Chaffin and King and in the pickup.

The medical examiner will determine their causes of death.

Saulter said the homeowner would not face charges in the incident.
