Collusion, collusion, collusion. That is all we hear, but, as Brat points out is whether or not a crime was committed is the important thing. We know the media is eager to get Trump on something, anything. We know that Democrats are using these stories/accusations/hyperventilating to deter the administration’s agenda. Could the president handle some of this better? Yes, of course. Should President use Twitter in a better way? Yep he could, and should.
As already stated, most of the “Russia hacked the election” narrative is baloney. It is a nothing burger with extra nothing! The Republicans should, in my view, let the Democrats wail and whine. Republicans have the majority in both houses, use them! Scrap the filibuster, stop letting Chucky Schumer deter the agenda. Democrats do not play nice, why should Republicans? Repeal ObamaCare rather than trying to keep most of it, get meaningful tax reform done, address the budget. And, if Democrats wish to help in any of those processes great. If not, then make damn sure to let the American people see who the party of no is. If the Democrats want to hold meaningless hearings, let them! Stop playing the Democrat’s game of delay, delay, and delay. In short lead!
The American people have given the GOP a majority of governorships. They have voted overwhelmingly for GOP majorities in legislatures across the nation. They voted for a Republican majority in the House, and in the Senate. They elected a Republican president. Given these facts Republicans ought to be able to see the writing on the wall. Americans gave the GOP a to do list. Now the GOP needs to start checking off items on that list!
