Thousands Protest Outside 300+ Planned Parenthood Clinics Across America On Saturday

Massive Planned Parenthood Protests Across U.S. – Washington Examiner

.

.
Thousands of protestors showed up outside over 300 Planned Parenthood clinics Saturday morning.

Protestors tweeted photos of the crowds and their mostly hand-made signs, causing their hashtag, #ProtestPP, to trend on Twitter. At several protests, people carried a large pink sign that read “Planned Parenthood sells baby parts,” referring to a series of undercover videos that revealed the abortion giant sells aborted fetal organs and tissue to biomedical companies.

Despite the massive turnout, several people said there was little to no media presence at the events.

Several activist groups across the country came together with pastors and prominent faith leaders to organize the protests, including the Family Research Council, the Susan B. Anthony List, and Americans United for Life.

Eric Scheidler, director of the Pro-Life Action League, told the Washington Examiner Friday that he was “fully confident” at least 10,000 people would show up to protest but thinks it’s possible as many as 100,000 will participate.

One organizer told the Examiner that this is the largest protest he has seen in his 20 years working in the pro-fe movement.

What’s fueling the interest, organizers say, is how the footage shows Planned Parenthood workers discussing fetal tissue. In one video, an official appears to be haggling over the compensation for a fetus with undercover actors posing as human tissue buyers. In another, a medical director talks about “crushing” some parts of the fetus while keeping desirable organs intact.

“People are absolutely horrified by what they’re seeing,” said Scheidler, who organized the protest with Created Equal President Mark Harrington and Monica Miller, president of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. “These videos show Planned Parenthood in such a cold blooded, negative, callous light.”

Planned Parenthood has gone as far as to cut up and sell “the body parts of babies they abort, even going as far as cutting out the brains of children with hearts still beating,” said Kristan Hawkins, the president of Students for Life of America, at a rally today in St. Paul. “This is the turning point in the history of abortion in our nation and our time to speak out, to have our pro-life message of hope and love for both woman and child heard by the media.”

“Women have been betrayed and Planned Parenthood has sold them and their preborn babies out, all for profit,” said Hawkins. “What’s worse, we the taxpayers are footing the bill, giving over half a billion dollars a year to the abortion giant. It’s time to defund Planned Parenthood.”

Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens told The Hill that she is confident the group will continue to receive Federal funding. Previous efforts to remove the abortion giant’s half a billion dollar Federal subsidy failed in Congress in July.

“I certainly believe that [we’ll be funded], because I believe the American people are speaking – and our patients, the one-in-five women who rely on Planned Parenthood over their lifetime – are [speaking to lawmakers],” she said.

The Daily Caller’s Official Rundown Of The Worst, Looniest, Most Leftist Professors In America (Emma Colton)

The Daily Caller’s Official Rundown Of The Worst, Looniest, Most Leftist Professors In America – Emma Colton

his mild summer is winding down. Professors across the fruited plain are preparing for another fall semester of spewing half-baked progressive ideologies at gullible undergrads.

It’s time, then, for The Daily Caller’s second annual, highly definitive list of the worst professors in America. All the professors on the first annual definitive list remain terrible, of course. But we won’t bore you with some rehash.

Instead, here are a dozen professors from this past school year who stole the headlines for being the most leftist, goofy and downright absurd.

.
…………

.
Former University of Memphis sociology professor Zandria Robinson came under scrutiny in July when tweets she tweeted revealed her beliefs that “whiteness” is “terror” and that the Confederate flag represents “capitalism.” Robinson, who took a job at Rhodes College this summer, also claimed that her very serious premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) might be triggered by “severe trauma from microaggressive whiteness.” Robinson set her Twitter account as private when the news broke about her radical opinions, but she has since made her account public again. She continues to comment on race and gender issues.

.
…………

.
In January, TheDC awarded Shimer College humanities professor Adam Kotsko the title of America’s Stupidest College Professor because he tweeted that the horrific terrorist attack on the French satirical publication Charlie Hebdo was foreseeable because the writers spewed “hate speech.” He later apologized profusely when he realized that Charlie Hebdo was not some exclusively anti-Islam pamphlet. He begged Salondotcom to remove screenshots of his hilariously idiotic tweets. You’d think Kotsko would slink away from social media, embarrassed for life. But, no. In a now-deleted tweet from June 2015, Kotsko suggested that white people alive right now are complicit in slavery even though they obviously have no involvement in it and even if their ancestors were never involved in it. “I know it sucks having a racial identity that exists solely to legitimate the subordination and exploitation of other races. #whiteness,” he wrote.

.
…………

.
Ron Hayduk, a professor at Queens College in New York, believes illegal alien voting is the “suffrage movement of our time.” So moved is Hayduk for the voting rights of people who have no legal right to be in the United States that he wrote an op-ed in the Providence Journal in January. “Noncitizens suffer social and economic inequities, in part, because policymakers can ignore their interests,” the taxpayer-funded professor wrote. “The vote is a proven mechanism to keep government responsive and accountable to all.” Hayduk staunchly believes that voting rights and citizenry do not go hand-in-hand, so everyone and anyone should be able to cast a ballot in the land of opportunity.

.
…………

.
Enrique W. Neblett, Jr, an associate professor of psychology and lab director of the African-American youth wellness laboratory at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, believes black college students become fat due to racism they probably experience in college. Or, shorter Neblett: The “freshman 15″ is racist – if you are black. At an April 2015 lecture at the University of Georgia, Neblett elaborated on his revolutionary theory. “Youth are thinking about their identity and may experience race discrimination for the first time,” he said. “Experiencing racism might lead to compromised health. For example, some students will cope by eating fatty snacks.”

.
…………

.
Thanks to the power of the Internet, an obscure 2012 study by Marquette University psychology professors Stephen Franzoi and Debra Oswald saw the light of day late last summer. In their study, Franzoi and Oswald concluded that calling your daughter a “princess” is sexist behavior. Worse, daughters who get called “princess” may suffer from high self-esteem. That’s bad, see, because it’s “benevolent sexism” which amounts to “restrictions misunderstood as love.” “Benevolent sexism” “restricts what the woman can and cannot do by setting up rewards and punishments when they engage in gender non-conforming behaviors.” Another example of “benevolent sexism” includes chivalrously holding doors open.

.
…………

.
Stanford University education professor Jo Boaler made claims in a February interview with U.S. News & World Report that it’s “harmful” to tell students to memorize and to practice simple math equations. Boaler – who in 2006 was accused of scientific misconduct by fellow Stanford professors – is also against giving student timed quizzes. It’s just way too stressful. “When we combine those who are stressed with those who are turned away from math because of them [quizzes], we have a large section of the U.S. population that goes across all achievement levels,” Boaler proclaimed.

.
…………

.
Sara Goldrick-Rab, a sociology professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, warned her Twitter followers this year that Wisconsin governor and presidential candidate Scott Walker has “terrifying” “similarities” to Adolf Hitler. “My grandfather, a psychologist, just walked me through similarities between Walker and Hitler. There are so many-it’s terrifying,” the taxpayer funded professor tweeted in July. Goldbrick-Rab also decided it would be a good idea to contact high school seniors who are barely 18 and who have no idea who she is to tell them a bunch of professors would leave the school. She also threatened to quit and find another job in response to a new tenure law. And she has called former President Jimmy Carter is an “extraordinary national treasure.”

.
…………………..

.
Stephany Rose, a professor of women’s and ethnic studies at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, claimed in July that African American celebrities like Stacey Dash perpetuate white supremacy by being successful African Americans. “When you come across these individuals like a Stacey Dash, there is this idea that they buy into the mythology of merit, and meritocracy, and the American dream is available to any and everyone one as long as you work hard,” Rose said in a radio interview. Successful, famous black Americans perpetuate white supremacy because they attain the American dream and their success in America immortalizes white hierarchy, capitalism and the competition to live a prosperous life. That’s Rose’s theory. If you want to read more, Rose has a book, “Abolishing White Masculinity from Mark Twain to Hiphop.” You can buy it for a cool $80.

.
…………

.
In June 2015, Cornell University associate professor of science and technology Sara Pritchard, wrote an article for The Conversation calling for universities to give bonus points to female professors as a method to combat gender bias. According to Pritchard, the course evaluations students at colleges across the country are encouraged to fill out each semester are “pervasively slanted by gender bias.” The Ivy League educator claimed that female professors are subject to personal attacks about appearances and fashion choices. Due to this alleged bias, they should be awarded extra bonus points to boost their evaluation outcomes.

.
…………

.
In the sexiest email sent to a class of law students this year, Drexel University law professor Lisa McElroy sent her pupils an email containing a 13-minute porn video from mega-website PornHub.com called, “She Loves Her Anal Beads.” The fracas occurred in April. McElroy included the text, “I thought this article on brief writing would be interesting to all of you.” As promised by the title, the video showed a woman loving her anal beads. Lots and lots of anal beads.

.
…………

.
Taxpayer-funded University of Maryland women’s studies professor Ashwini Tambe took to Twitter was in the news in May because she took to Twitter to call for “men control.” It’s masculine men with guns who kill people, Tambe claimed. “#YesAllWomen” and it’s time to “Recast masculinity.” Tambe has also used Twitter as a soapbox to rant about lowering the voting age to 16, and to defend the fraudulent and fabricated Rolling Stone article about a rape that never happened at the University of Virginia. Currently, Tambe is using her professor status to research “the legal paradoxes in age standards for sexual consent and the shifting definitions of girlhood.”

.
…………

.
Juan Cole, a professor of history at the University of Michigan, claimed in June that right-wing Jews and an “Islampohobic network” were “a key influence” for Dylann Roof’s rampage that killed nine people at a black church in Charleston, S.C. “The Muslim-hatred of the Geert Wilders and Marine LePens in Europe, for which Daniel Pipes, and Pamela Geller, and the whole Islamophobic network are cheerleaders and enablers, was a key influence on Dylann Roof, according to his manifesto,” Cole wrote on his popular blog, Informed Comment. As a commenter noted, Roof’s manifesto makes no mention of Pipes, Geller, Wilders, Muslims, or Islam.

Islam Is Tied To The Beginnings Of America… But Not Quite How Obama Thinks (Colleen Conley)

Islam Is Tied To The Beginnings Of America… But Not Quite How Obama Thinks – Colleen Conley

.

.
Much has said about Obama’s unrelenting submission to Islam, including his most recent speech last Thursday at a summit on violent extremism in which he famously stated that “Here in America, Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”

Not so fast, Mr. President. While there were Muslim African slaves (who were forced to convert to Christianity) in America’s beginning, Islam played absolutely no role in the ideas and principles which forged our nation. In fact, the Founding Fathers held nothing but contempt for Islam.

Many of them were quite familiar with Muslims through their experiences with the Barbary Pirates, which roamed the Mediterranean, seizing ships and an estimated 1 million European slaves between the 16th and 19th centuries. Once America won its freedom from England, it no longer enjoyed the protection of the French navy under the Treaty of Alliance. Northwest African Berber Muslim states, known collectively as the Barbary States, soon began attacks on American ships and enslaving crews for high ransom. In March 1785, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to negotiate with Tripoli’s envoy, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman, at which point they were informed:

“It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy’s ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.”

The ransom demands eventually became so great, equaling one-sixth of the US budget, that ultimately this led to the formation of the United States Department of the Navy, founded in 1798 to prevent further attacks upon American shipping and to end the extremely large demands for tribute from the Barbary States.

The First Barbary War became the first military conflict authorized by Congress that the United States fought on foreign land and seas, with the turning point occurring when a small force of U.S. Marines and 500 mercenaries marched across the desert from Egypt to capture the Tripolitan city of Derna. This was the first time in history the United States flag was raised in victory on foreign soil. The action is memorialized in a line of the Marines’ Hymn—”the shores of Tripoli”.

The United States won its first battle on foreign soil against Islamic States, and the Navy and Marines became a permanent part of the American government and history. That, President Obama, is Islam’s sole connection to the founding years of our country; as our vanquished enemy.

Historian David Barton Takes Apart Obama’s Claim That ‘Islam Has Been Woven Into The Fabric of Our Country Since Its Founding’ – The Blaze

After President Barack Obama said this week that “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding,” Glenn Beck asked historian David Barton to come on his radio program and share some examples of what the president meant.

“In all the reading I’ve done, thousands of books, there’s nothing there,” Barton said on Friday. “I mean, we know that Muslims were the folks who captured the slaves sent to America, largely out of Africa… The Muslims did the slave hunting and the slave trading, et cetera. The first Muslims came to America as a result of the Muslims capturing them and sending them to the Dutch traders.”

Barton said that beyond their heavy involvement in the slave trade, America was at war with the Barbary pirates shortly after the founding of the country, but those were “the two biggest contributions.”

“This is the fabric,” Beck said with heavy sarcasm. “I mean, it’s practically the whole blanket.”

.

.
Barton added that there were a number of Muslims whose activities were recorded in the 1800′s, but it might be a stretch to say they are part of the “fabric of the country.” One such Muslim helped the American military raise camels, he said.

“In 1856 the American military is engaged in all sorts of Indian wars in western lands,” Barton explained. “The secretary of war at that time was Jefferson Davis. Five years later, he would become part of the secession and the president of the Confederacy. But at that time, he’s secretary of war. What they did was they hired a Muslim to raise camels in Arizona because the cavalry said, ‘You know, instead of using horses across the desert, let’s try these camels.’”

“It was a short-lived experiment, but I have to credit their technology,” Barton added. “If you’re going to be in the desert chasing folks, why not use the animals that will go for several days, rather than several hours? But they were just so slow, they couldn’t keep up with the Indians.”

Beck emphasized that the founding fathers preached tolerance for all religions, and Thomas Jefferson defended the rights of Muslims overseas. But he feels the president is “changing our history” by saying Islam has been “woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”

“David, thank you very much for enlightening me on this,” Beck concluded. “If the president wants to extol those who were selling people into slavery… so be it.”

President Asshat Makes Japanese Internment Camp A National Monument In Attempt To Vilify America

Obama Hates America: Domestic Enemy President Makes Japanese Internment Camp A National Monument In Attempt To Vilify America – Pat Dollard

.

.

.
This action sums up Obama’s views of America perfectly, and lays out his agenda, his sick joy in hurting it: “America is a bad place that has done bad things, and I am going to humiliate and shame it as much as possible. I am also going to curse it for doing what it needed to survive in order to weaken it from ever doing things that protects itself but hurts its enemies ever again.”

Excerpted from Gateway Pundit: After Rudy Giuliani made his comments this week that Barack Obama does not love America the White House tweeted this out:

=============================================

The White House
@WhiteHouse

Obama: “I’m using my powers as President to announce America’s 3 newest National Monuments.” #ObamaLovesAmerica

3:11 PM – 19 Feb 2015
=============================================

“Obama loves America” because he announced three new National Monuments.

The only problem is that one of Obama’s national monuments is the Japanese internment camp in Hawaii.

.

.
Honouliuli Internment Camp was long forgotten until it was dug up in 2007.

The Honouliuli National Monument is on Oahu. The camp was the largest and longest-operating internment camp, opened in 1943 and closed in 1946, in Hawaii. In August 1943, there were 160 Japanese Americans and 69 Japanese interned there. Keep reading

Excerpted from Monsanto.com: Monsanto recently donated land to the National Park Service from the Honouliuli Internment Camp Site for a National Park Service National Monument. The designation of the monument was announced by President Obama on Feb. 19.

“We are very excited about reaching this significant milestone in the community’s efforts to preserve the Honouliuli Internment Camp into perpetuity as part of the U.S. National Park System,” said Alan Takemoto, Community Affairs Manager of Monsanto Hawaii. “Transferring ownership of this land to the Federal Government is the result of years of hard work by numerous individuals and organizations who have been diligently and patiently working, step by step, to make this community vision a reality. We at Monsanto Hawaii are very proud to be a part of this tremendous collaboration.”

In 2007, Monsanto acquired farmland in Kunia which includes the site of the former Honouliuli Internment Camp. At that time, the company pledged to work with the community to preserve the Camp site for its historic value. Since then, Monsanto has been collaborating closely with local organizations, including the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i and University of Hawai‘i West O‘ahu, to work with the National Park Service in the hopes of establishing Honouliuli Internment Camp as a National Historic Site. Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘America’ Shoots To Number 1 On Amazon Following Commie Costco Ban

D’Souza’s ‘America’ Shoots To #1 On Amazon Following Costco Ban – TPNN

.

.
Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “America: Imagine a World Without Her,” vaulted to #1 on Amazon.com’s bestseller list, shortly after retail behemoth Costco yanked the pro-American book that is a companion to the movie of the same name currently in theaters.

The popular discount retailer induced a self-inflicted public relations nightmare it will not soon forget, as the company was getting obliterated on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, with customers feeling the move was politically motivated.

Customers called the move “censorship” and “communist” and many promised to boycott the company and vote with their shopping dollars at competitor Sam’s Club.

Costco co-founder and director Jim Sinegal is a major contributor to leftist candidates and the Democrat Party. So much so that Sinegal was rewarded with a speaking slot at the 2012 Democrat convention, the one in which the party infamously “booed” God three times.

Both the book and movie version of “America” destroy the Democrat Party and anti-American progressive meme that the United States is a force for evil in the world.

The backlash may have already made an impact. On The Kelly File on FOX News Tuesday night, Megyn Kelly said that the company has agreed to re-order the books that were mysteriously yanked from shelves the same week the movie version was released.

Kelly said that the company refused to admit their banning of the book was politically motivated. A Costco spokesperson told Kelly that the company pulled the books because of “shoddy” sales.

However, if that was the case, why would they be restocking the shelves?

Following Costco’s book ban of D’Souza’s “America,” D’Souza said in a statement on his Facebook page:

“Yesterday I was stunned to learn that Costco had pulled my latest book, America: Imagine A World Without Her, from all of its stores. This was despite the fact that the book had sold very well at the chain and that my movie of the same name was releasing on over 1,000 screens the very next day.

Today, I am disappointed to learn that this news has been confirmed by Costco . This action confirms the suspicions of all freedom-loving Americans and is a direct attack on my livelihood which I take very seriously. In a free society, Costco is free to ban my book, but their customers are also free to shop at other stores which don’t censor books. In the book and the movie, I talk about the shaming of Americans and a culture of intimidation and censorship that has been spearheaded by the President himself.

It’s one thing for Costco executives to pal around with President Obama and donate almost exclusively to Democrats. But to turn their company into a tool for suppressing dissent against the government is another matter.

I urge all Americans to watch our film in their nearest theater and buy the book from an establishment that honors freedom of speech. Once they do that, they will understand why the President and his allies are so afraid of this message and determined to keep it from reaching the American people.”

Top Obama Homeland Security Adviser: America Is An Islamic Country

Elibiary: America Is An Islamic Country – Big Peace

.

.
Last fall, a top Obama Homeland Security adviser generated controversy when he wrote that the U.S. Constitution was “Islamically compliant.”

Mohamed Elibiary returned to the topic in a Saturday morning Twitter post: “…I said America was an Islamic country not a Muslim country. Pls study up on the difference b4 attacking me.” The post appears to have been deleted from Elibiary’s Twitter feed.

Elibiary declined to explain what he meant when the Investigative Project wrote to him asking for clarification. The tweets are puzzling considering that there were 2.6 million Muslims in the United States as of the 2010 census – roughly less than .2 percent of the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims.

A source close to Elibiary told the IPT, however, that the Homeland Security adviser meant to say that he feels there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution and the American system that runs contrary to Islam.

Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, rejected the theory.

“His entire attempt to repeatedly say that ‘American is Islamic’ is pure deception in the context of an Islamist ideologue like him who has not only never critiqued Islamism but rather continuously advocates for it,” Jasser said. “In fact it is not. American Islamists like Elibiary have consistently rejected debate with other anti-Islamist Muslims about the threat of Islamism and the way to separate Islam from Islamism.

“Why? If they lose that debate, his entire raison d’être inside the U.S. government ceases to exist.”

Elibiary also compared criticism of Islamism, or political Islam, with “segregation era standards,” and invoked the memory of the “separate & unequal doctrine” that marked that era.

Elibiary’s defense of Islamism ignores how Islamist luminaries such as Sayyid Qutb – whom he previously praised – advocated forcing non-Muslims to enjoy an inferior legal status under the “protection” of the Islamic state.

Wherever Islamists have exercised power through violent or non-violent means, religious minorities such as Christians and Jews have found themselves facing violence or discrimination. This has certainly been the case in Egypt, Iraq and Syria.

A week earlier, Elibiary tweeted that the restoration of the long-defunct Muslim Caliphate was “inevitable.”

Elibiary also predicted that conservatives would evolve on the foreign policy front to accept a “Muslim majority world.”

“Islamism is incompatible with liberty and is a supremacist doctrine for which he deceptively argues is Islam the faith,” Jasser said. “In all of his work, you will not find any critique of Islamism, the Islamic state, or government imposed shariah in his opinions or any admission of the deep reforms necessary for American ideals to be compatible with Islam.”

America’s Next Space Shuttle – Sierra Nevada Corporation’s ‘Dream Chaser’ (Pictures / Video)

Meet Dream Chaser, America’s Next Space Shuttle – Giant Freakin Robot

As you probably know, President Obama announced his decision to end NASA’s space shuttle program Constellation back in 2010. Since then, the US has been paying to transport astronauts to the ISS aboard Russian Soyuz capsules. NASA designed the four-person Space Launch System, a heavy launch vehicle, to replace the retired shuttles. So I’ve just been waiting patiently for that to come to fruition, somehow unaware of the Dream Chaser spacecraft, a commercial spaceflight transport system that will be able to take a crew of seven astronauts to the ISS, despite being about 1/3rd the size of a conventional shuttle.

.

.

.

.
The Dream Chaser will ride aboard an Atlas 5 rocket, which will propel the craft into low Earth orbit, potentially ferrying astronauts to the ISS. Service – or some kind of crewed mission – is expected to begin in 2017, with the first orbital crewless flight in late 2016. Dream Chaser’s first unmanned flight occurred in 2013, when it flew successfully but crashed due to a malfunction in its landing gear. Actually, the vehicle flipped over at the very end, coming to rest in an upright position, after which the malfunctioning left landing gear deployed. I like a spacecraft with a sense of humor. Despite the rocky ending, the flight was regarded as an overall success.

.

.

.

.
Dream Chaser was built by the Sierra Nevada Corporation, and it’s one of three potential commercial transport systems that are part of the space agency’s Commercial Crew Development process. NASA is expected to choose one or two of the these systems to take astronauts to the ISS. SpaceX’s Dragon is one, and Boeing’s CST-100 is the other, and so far all three have met target milestones. The teams are vying for the privilege of becoming NASA’s main mode of near-Earth orbit transit, kicking off the era of private commercial spaceflight for both crews and cargo.

.

.
