‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ Producer Charged With Laundering $248 Million In Malaysian Scandal – Fox Business

“The Wolf of Wall Street” producer Riza Aziz was charged on Friday with laundering $248 million from state investment fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd., or 1MDB.

Riza, the stepson of Malaysia’s former prime minister Najib Razak, pleaded not guilty. He became the third person in his family to be charged in the 1MDB scandal that helped end Razak’s government last year.

His charge sheets said the money was misappropriated from 1MDB and channeled into bank accounts of Riza’s company Red Granite Pictures Inc., which produced films including “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

The 2013 film, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was nominated for five Academy Awards, including best picture. Other movies the company produced include “Horns” in 2013, “Dumb and Dumber To” in 2014, “Daddy’s Home” in 2015 and “Papillon” in 2017…

Lithuanian Couple Triumph In World ‘Wife Carrying’ Championships For Second Year Running: Win Her Weight In Beer – Daily Mail
.

.
A Lithuanian man and his wife have won the world wife carrying title for a second year running. Men must leap over timber and wade through waist-high water to carry their wives and win their other half’s weight in beer.

Vytautas Kirkliauskas and his wife Neringa Kirkliauskiene cleared a grueling 253.5 meter obstacle course in 1 minute and 6.72 seconds. That was just a tenth of a second ahead of former six-time world champion, Finland’s Taisto Miettinen and his new partner Katja Kovanen.

‘After the second obstacle I thought I wouldn’t make it, but it’s a great result’ Kirkliauskas said, adding ‘my wife, she is the best.’…

Florida Principal Told Parent School Can’t Teach Kids ‘The Holocaust Is A Factual, Historical Event’, Must Be ‘Politically Neutral’ – Right Scoop

Let’s start out with this quote from the Palm Beach Post, because you have to read this to really get the feel for the story.

“The mother, who asked not to be named to protect her child’s identity, was stunned. Was the principal of one of Palm Beach County’s largest public schools suggesting that the Holocaust was a belief rather than an actual event?”

The answer is yes. That is what the principal of the county’s largest public school was saying. That he couldn’t say the Holocaust is a real thing. Before we go on, you may be interested to know this guy is not a white supremacist.

Anyway, here’s what happened. A mother wrote to the principal concerned about the curriculum and what her child was being taught about the Holocaust. Also he said that about slavery, adds Yahoo News. The response she got by email in 2018, exposed in a recent news article after a year-long fight, was unbelievable…

NBC 4 New York, citing sources, reported court documents state that Epstein allegedly had sexual encounters with dozens of underage girls at his Palm Beach, Florida residence. According to authorities, the politically connected hedge fund manager employed “female fixers” who sought out the girls from all over the world for such encounters.

Some of the girls were allegedly transported to his homes in New York City, New Mexico, and a private Caribbean island, according to court documents. Law enforcement sources told NBC 4 New York that Epstein is expected to appear in federal court in Manhattan on Monday…

Lunatic Enters Plasma Donation Facility And Starts Stabbing People For No Apparent Reason – Crime Online

Authorities in Virginia say a man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left three people injured at a plasma donation center in Petersburg.

According to Fox News, 20-year-old Jairique Shannon is accused of entering the Octapharma Plasma facility during an Independence Day event in search of the restroom. Shortly thereafter, he allegedly brandished a long knife and began slashing people apparently at random.

The victims – identified as a male and two females – were transported to an area hospital. While the two females were reportedly treated and released, the male’s injuries required a transfer to another hospital, where he was listed in critical condition as of the latest update available.

In a statement confirming the arrest, Commonwealth’s Attorney Cheryl Wilson explained that there seemed to have been no method to the violent outburst. “There’s no information that he had any grudge against anyone, and at this point we don’t have a motive,” she said…

McDonald’s Manager Caught On Video Screaming Profanities At Drive-Thru Customers – Daily Mail
.

.
A manager of a McDonald’s has been caught on camera descending into an expletive-laden meltdown after a disagreement with two customers turned nasty at a Wisconsin drive-thru.

At a branch of the fast-food franchise in Madison, the currently unnamed supervisor is said to have taken the order of two customers over the intercom, but as they approached the window to get their food the couple were told the restaurant had now closed.

An argument then erupted, with the woman behind the camera capturing the moment the manager leaned out from the window towards her car and shouted ‘I’ve been here for almost 17 hours, I don’t give a f***’. The couple are then told to ‘Get the f*** out of my drive-thru’, as the worker angrily gestures them away…

Reluctant Witnesses In FISA Abuse Investigation Agree To Talk To DOJ Inspector General – Fox News

Key witnesses sought for questioning by Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz early in his investigation into alleged government surveillance abuse have come forward at the 11th hour, Fox News has learned.

Sources familiar with the matter said at least one witness outside the Justice Department and FBI started cooperating – a breakthrough that came after Attorney General William Barr ordered U.S. Attorney John Durham to lead a separate investigation into the origins of the bureau’s 2016 Russia case that laid the foundation for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

While the investigative phase of the inspector general’s long-running probe is said to be complete, the sources said recent developments required some witnesses to be reinterviewed.

And while Barr testified that he expected the report into alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse to be ready in May or last month, multiple sources said the timeline has slipped…

It’s Time Dor A Federal Civil Rights Intervention In Portland – F.H. Buckley
.

.
The savage beating of journalist Andy Ngo in Portland by far-left antifa rioters last Saturday shocked everyone. Well, conservatives anyway, plus a few honorable liberals. As the police stood by watching at a distance, masked thugs hit him, stole his camera and threw milkshake, rocks and eggs at him. He ended up in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage.

Criminal laws are supposed to deter criminal behavior. But that only works when the criminal gets caught and punished, and when people are permitted to hide their identities behind a mask, as antifa thugs are, no one gets caught.

Portland’s mayor, Ted Wheeler, has vowed to hold the offenders accountable. Let us know who the perpetrators are, he asked, and the city would hold them accountable – a supremely useless plea when dealing with a largely masked and anonymous group…

President Trump: I Will Stand Up To Big Pharma With Executive Order To Lower Drug Prices – Big League Politics

President Donald Trump explained outside the White House Friday how he will use an executive order to stand up to big pharmaceutical companies in order to lower drug prices for the American people.

“We’re going to be announcing something very shortly, a favored nations clause. As you know, for years and years, other nations paid less for drugs than we do, sometimes by 60, 70 percent,” President Trump said.

“We’re working on a favored nations clause, where we pay whatever the lowest nation’s price is. Why should other nations, like Canada, but why should other nations pay much less than us? They’ve taken advantage of the system for a long time. Pharma,” Trump said.

“Whatever the lowest nation is anywhere in the world, or company, but the lowest nation or company, then what happens is we will pay that amount,” Trump said.

“We’re going to do it in the form of an executive order,” Trump said….

President Trump Pursuing Options To Add Citizenship Question To 2020 Census, Including Potential Executive Order – Chicago Tribune
.

.
The Justice Department said Friday it will press its search for legal grounds to force the inclusion of a citizenship question on the 2020 Census, hours after President Donald Trump said he is “very seriously” considering an executive order to get the question on the form.

Trump said his administration is exploring a number of legal options, but the Justice Department did not say exactly what options remain now that the Supreme Court has barred the question at least temporarily.

The administration’s focus on asking broadly about citizenship for the first time since 1950 reflects the enormous political stakes and potential costs in the once-a-decade population count that determines the allocation of seats in the House of Representatives for the next 10 years and the distribution of some $675 billion in federal spending…

Southern California Hit By 7.1-Magnitude Earthquake Days After Earlier Tremor – Sky News

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake has hit California less than two days after another strong tremor, rattling parts of LA and causing fire and building damage near its rural epicentre. The quake hit at 8.19pm local time 11 miles from Ridgecrest in the Mojave Desert, the site of Thursday’s 6.4-magnitude quake.

Offices in downtown Los Angeles shook for around 30 seconds, and the quake was also felt in the Hollywood Hills, Las Vegas and parts of Mexico.

The earthquake is the strongest to hit the region in 20 years, with experts giving it an early rating of 6.9 to 7.1 on the Richter scale.

There are “significant reports of structure fires, mostly as a result of gas leaks or gas line breaks” in Ridgecrest, said Mark Ghillarducci, head of the California Office of Emergency Services. He said the full extent of the damage would not be revealed until daybreak on Saturday.

There have been minor injuries but no reports so far of anyone seriously hurt or killed…

While he hit a range of subjects during the exhaustive interview, he praised the Democrat socialist lawmaker, despite marketing himself as a moderate Democrat.

“That’s what this election is about. I’m happy to debate that issue and all those issues with my friends because guess what, look who won the races. Look who won last time out,” Biden said, referring to the extreme left’s victories in the midterm election.

Ocasio-Cortez beat incumbent former Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NY) by a little more than 4,000 votes – 15,897 to Crowley’s 11,761….

Utah: Over 30 Armed Teachers Train To Take Out Active Shooters – Breitbart

Over 30 armed teachers gathered in Spanish Fork, Utah, for police training in locating and taking out active shooters. The Associated Press reports that the training occurred “inside a warehouse set up to look like a school.”

In one scenario, school psychologist Nancy Miramontes had to navigate hallways and walls, find the attacker, and shoot him. She “fired three shots,” one of which would have hit the active shooter in the forehead had the scenario been real life.

Miramontes received praise from the officer nearby. She had demonstrated that she could shift from nurturer to defender by recognizing a threat and removing it. Afterward, Miramontes said, “I know how to protect myself and my students now; I know what to expect if the worst happens.”

Utah is one of a number of states that allow teachers to be armed on campus for classroom defense. Teachers can be armed in Colorado and Florida after receiving a certain amount of training…

DemoNazi Congresswoman Secretly Sending Staff To Mexico To Coach Migrants On How To Game System – Daily Wire
.

.
Democrat Rep. Veronica Escobar (TX) is secretly sending staff to Mexico to find and coach migrants who are trying to enter the United States and is instructing them how to “exploit a loophole” to game the asylum process, multiple U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials allege.

The Washington Examiner reports that, according to the National Border Patrol Council’s El Paso chapter and several CBP agents, Escobar’s staff is trying to find migrants that have been returned from El Paso, Texas to Mexico “under the ‘remain in Mexico’ policy, then coaching them to pretend they cannot speak Spanish to exploit a loophole letting them return to the U.S.”

A senior union official shared evidence supporting their claims with the Examiner…

New York City Backs Off Gun Restrictions To Avoid Supreme Court Defeat – Daily Caller

The Supreme Court should dismiss a challenge to New York City’s gun transportation ban because a new ordinance will moot the case, city lawyers told the justices Wednesday.

The ordinance and a newly enacted state law will give the plaintiffs who challenged the transportation ban everything they have sought in court, making dismissal the appropriate course, city lawyers wrote in a letter to the high court.

“The new city regulation gives petitioners everything they have sought in this lawsuit,” assistant corporation counsel Richard Dearing wrote. “The new state law, upon signature by the governor, will make the case doubly moot.”

If the case is not dismissed, the city will continue arguing the dispute is moot in a legal brief due Aug. 5.

“If, however, this Court prefers to allow briefing (and potentially oral argument) to play out, respondents will file a brief on the designated due date maintaining in greater detail that the case is moot,” the letter reads…

Michigan Truckers Win Court Battle Against Union Goons – Big League Politics

Last week, three Michigan truck drivers won a federal settlement against the Teamsters Local 20 union. The dispute emerged when the union took dues and initiation fees from the truckers’ paychecks despite not joining the union in question.

The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation submitted unfair labor practice charges to the National Labor Relations Board on behalf of former employees at Syncreon America, Inc: Wendell Collins and Damani Mincey, and current employee Arthur Caple, according to a recent blog post.

National Right to Work Foundation President Mark Mix said, “Foundation staff attorneys are committed to vigorously defending workers’ rights from Big Labor’s coercive practices, including in Right to Work states like Michigan.”

He added, “Unfortunately, Michigan has become a battleground for worker freedoms as scofflaw union officials continually flout the Right to Work law and illegally subject independent-minded workers to forced union dues.”…

Nearly 12,000 News Media Jobs To Be Cut This Year – Breitbart
.

.
The American media will be hit with nearly 12,000 job cuts in 2019, the highest number since the economic crisis of 2009.

“The consultancy Challenger Gray & Christmas reported this week media companies, which include movies, television, publishing, music, and broadcast and print news, announced plans to cut 15,474 jobs so far this year, of which 11,878 of which were from news organizations” reports AFP.

This is a huge increase over 2017’s 4,062 media job cuts and, according to the article at least, this is primarily happening due to paywalls and ad revenue. A number of media outlets are installing paywalls in the hope their customers will start to pay for something they are used to getting for free…

Officials At Chicago Airport Seize 32 Pounds Of Rat Meat From Passenger – Fox News

Sorry, Chicago. You’ll have to get your imported rat meat elsewhere. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport have confirmed the seizure of 32 pounds of rat meat, taken from a passenger arriving in Chicago from the Ivory Coast late last month.

The CBP said the passenger himself alerted officials to the rat meat after arriving on his June 26 flight.

“He declared it,” Steve Bansbach, the spokesman for the CBP’s Chicago bureau, confirmed to Fox News. “He claimed he had meat during inspection. We found that, yes, he had African rat meat – 32 pounds of it.”

The main concerns with imported meats, according to Bansbach, is the possibility of introducing African Swine Fever (ASF), or other contagious diseases, into the United States. Meats from ASF-afflicted areas or countries are prohibited from entry, according to the CBP website…

Oh, The Humanity: Jim Beam Aging Facility Burns Down In Kentucky – Breitbart

.
At least 45,000 barrels of Jim Beam bourbon were destroyed in a massive warehouse fire in Kentucky on Tuesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., two warehouses full of bourbon caught fire at a Jim Beam aging facility. Woodford County Emergency Management Director Drew Chandler told local CBS affiliate WKYT that just one building full of bourbon barrels initially caught fire, but the flames soon spread to the other.

That second warehouse proved easier to quench than the first, which was still burning unabated five hours later. Chandler predicted that firefighters would still be on the scene late Wednesday night…

AG Barr Must Stick RICO On Antifa, The 21st Century’s KKK – Thomas McArdle

On Saturday in Portland, Oregon, freelance journalist Andy Ngo was beaten so badly by a cowardly, masked Antifa mob, he suffered a brain hemorrhage. The weapons included eggs and the spraying of “milk shakes” suspected of including quick-drying cement, which together temporarily blinded Ngo. The local police precinct was within view, yet video of the episode shows no intervention.

Covering your face to avoid identification so you can beat and intimidate in the name of your political agenda and avoid arrest and prosecution – sound familiar? It’s practically the definition of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

Nearly 50 years ago, a Democratic Congress passed and a Republican president signed into law an extraordinary measure designed to make prosecutions stick and put organized criminal organizations such as the Klan and the Mafia in prison: the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

RICO and Antifa are a match made in heaven…
