Do not forget your ancestors, your heritage, your heroes, or your history

No threats, riots, looting, just people honoring their history.

LEXINGTON, Va. (WSET) — Confederate flags filled the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lexington today for the Stonewall Brigade Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans’ (SCV) Lee-Jackson Day events.

Because of legislation signed in 2020, Lee Jackson Day is no longer an official holiday in Virginia, but the Stonewall Brigade Camp still wanted to commemorate the lives of generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. ‘Stonewall’ Jackson.

Both are buried in Lexington.

Jacob Rogers, a Lexington resident who attended the event, said its important that Lee and Jackson are remembered.

“These two are arguably some of the best that were ever commanded in troops in combat and just out of respect to that alone I’m amazed at how we’ve kind of forgotten just how great these people are,” Rogers said.

Sadly, such people are often shamed, mocked, and smeared as haters and bigots. Irony to this is that the people smearing them wrap themselves in the robe of “tolerant” and “woke”, while attacking a people who only want to honor their ancestors, teach history, and be left alone. Bigotry still exists, and no matter who the target is, it is still a terrible, shameful thing

The Left just keeps on cancelling……

Yesterday, the Wokers were so pleased with themselves, taking down statues of General Lee, and Jackson. Then, they focused on Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea because everything must be cancelled!

The city of Charlottesville, Va. followed up its removal of two controversial Confederate statues Saturday with the lightning-fast toppling of a third local landmark: a monumental tribute to explorers Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and Sacagawea.

In an emergency meeting called with 20 minutes’ notice, the Charlottesville City Council voted unanimously to cancel another piece of public art targeted by left-wing activists.

“I feel that it should just be melted down,” Rose Ann Abrahamson, a Sacagawea descendant, said during the council meeting, The Daily Progress reported. “I feel that it’s entirely offensive and it should be obliterated.”

Well, history is not good for anything to the Left it seems. Nothing at all! I mean American history is, like soooooo American! And America is bad, and every historical figure is, therefore bad! And, our “leaders” on city councils, county commissions, and state legislatures apparently love licking the boots of these cultural Stalinists. Note in the story that the city council made ZERO effort to have residents give their opinions. This should lead to every one of these miscreants being voted OUT next election. But, will it? Yep, I do not think so either.

Actor caves to Wokers, will change name of his rum

Michael B. Jordan has given the petulant brats another win over cultural appropriation

June 23 (UPI) — Michael B. Jordan has apologized for the name of his new rum brand and will rename the brand.

The 34-year-old actor said Tuesday on Instagram Stories that he will change the name of his rum brand J’Ouvert after accusations that the name appropriates Caribbean culture.

I do believe rum IS part of Caribbean culture, so, this makes no sense, but the brats threw a tantrum, soooooooo, everyone else must appease them. Sorry, but FUCK THAT! Jordan should stand up, and tell the nutcases to take a flying leap. But, instead, he puckered up and kissed their behinds

“I just wanna say on behalf of myself & my partners, our intention was never to offend or hurt a culture (we love & respect) & hoped to celebrate & shine a positive light on,” Jordan wrote. “Last few days has been a lot of listening. A lot of learning & engaging in countless community conversations…”

“We hear you. I hear you & want to be clear that we are in the process of renaming,” he said. “We sincerely apologize & look forward to introducing a brand we can all be proud of.”

Cowardice, of course, is nothing to be proud of
