  1. “Neurodivergent” individuals have always popped up in societies throughout humanity’s maturing process. Often they were simply called “different,” or “strange,” or “slow,” or whatever. Generally they came to adapt to what was required to eat, sleep, and participate in routine functions despite their “differences.” If not, they withdrew or were discarded. It worked.

“Nounseslf” pronouns have been around since I was a kid in the 40s and 50s. Guys referred to themselves as various animals, girls adapted names of flowers . . . we all had our little self delusions, which our elders and society in general referred to as “phases.” We got over it when Mom & Dad told us to get the hell out of the house and fend for ourselves. Government didn’t “forgive” our loans or provide us with endless unemployment benefits or set up free kitchens and hostels for us.

Actually, she makes a lotta sense when she finally gets to the point and says “don’t encourage the freakin idiots.” But her problem is that she’s not particularly good at interfacing with normal people ‘cuz she’s a goddam weirdo with serious self-image issues . . . and very likely Daddy ones, too.
