Journalist Morgan Pehme alleged Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) office “terrorized” him for investigating his administration, according to an op-ed published Monday.
Pehme – a documentary producer known for co-directing Netflix’s Get Me Roger Stone – said he received a threatening call from Cuomo deputy Melissa DeRosa at 4:30 AM:
While the April 2014 call I received from DeRosa didn’t come directly from the governor, I knew it bore the full weight of his power. City & State, the New York politics magazine I edited at the time, was about to publish a story exposing Cuomo’s machinations to distort the final report issued by the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption…
The ever-shifting Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown “rules” in Los Angeles County have all but completely devastated the local economy, especially small business owners whose livelihoods continue to be targeted by area “health” officials.
Breweries and wineries throughout the southland have it especially tough as “authorities” are purposefully roving their premises on the busiest days and threatening them with closure. In most cases, these “authorities” do not even understand the rules and are persecuting these businesses unjustly.
Bravery Brewing Company, for instance, was invaded by Los Angeles County inspector Jatinder Chhabra on Super Bowl Sunday. This business was doing nothing wrong and was in full compliance with local “mandates,” but Chhabra decided to make up her own rules to try to enforce.
Chhabra attempted to claim that Bravery needed to have a food truck present, or some other nutriment dispensary, in order to operate…
A Seattle-backed homeless shelter is instructing addicts to smoke heroin and inject drugs rectally. And the shelter is using tax dollars to help get addicts high.
The Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) passes out heroin pipes and so-called “booty bumping” kits. To alert homeless clients of their offerings, DESC posted several flyers at their Navigation Center location on 12th Avenue South. They give encouragement to addicts to use new tools and methods to continue their destructive and deadly addictions.
Officials with Seattle’s Human Services Department (HSD) won’t directly respond to concerns over the advice or use of funds. But they do back the methods because it “reflects the varying needs of those experiencing homelessness in Seattle.”…
Fake President Biden has proposed $1.9 trillion in additional COVID-19 spending. He’s asking Congress to authorize another round of checks, more expanded unemployment benefits, a $15 minimum wage, and much, much more.
Over the weekend, House Democrats finally released the text of the 600-page bill meant to make Biden’s broad COVID proposals a legislative reality.
Critics and economists have already attacked the proposal on the merits of its main provisions and staggering overall cost, arguing it would break the budget, incentivize unemployment, and fail to stimulate the economy. However, there’s a much simpler objection to this legislative bonanza: it’s full of unrelated pork and political priorities.
Here are 10 crazy examples of waste and partisan kick-backs that have nothing to do with COVID-19 but are in the new bill.

The North Dakota House of Representatives has passed a bill that will make any future mask mandates illegal in the state. Monday’s vote passed 50-44 and is now heading to the state senate.
“Our state is not a prison camp,” the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Jeff Hoverson, said. The state’s Republican Gov. Doug Burgum had put a mask mandate in place three months ago, but had previously expressed doubt about if mandates were really the way to go.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that Hoverson called mask mandates “diabolical silliness,” referring to them as a conspiracy run by “unelected, wealthy bureaucrats who are robbing our freedoms and perpetuating lies.”…
The media of what used to be a free country has become indistinguishable from the press operations of Pravda or Der Sturmer whose stock in trade were fawning stories about Communist and Nazi leaders and character assassinations discrediting their opponents.
Unlike their spiritual comrades, the hacks in this country can’t be bothered to come up with their own smears and have therefore outsourced the supply of defamations and lies to the character assassination experts led by the leftist Southern Poverty Law Center the principal hate group dedicated to destroying conservative individuals and organizations.
Smear groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center supply the lies, and the media passes them on verbatim spreading their poison to unsuspecting publics, and the mercies of the cancel culture.
The current issue of the Chronicle of Philanthropy hit piece falsely attacked the David Horowitz Freedom Center as well as other longtime targets of the SPLC…
A major Democratic bundler, who raised large sums for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for what prosecutors said was a “mercenary” political influence scheme.
Imaad Zuberi, a Californian businessman, was sentenced Thursday for schemes to funnel foreign money into U.S. political campaigns, then take millions of dollars for himself. The Los Angeles Times reported that U.S. Assistant Attorney Daniel J. O’Brien said Zuberi was “purely a mercenary, funneling money to whomever he believed would do his bidding.”
Within the recently unsealed court records, was a photo of Zuberi with Joe Biden and Obama when they were, respectively, vice president and president…
This morning the Supreme Court threw out a series of remaining challenges to election processes and election results in several states left over from the recent presidential election cycle.
One of the lawsuits was brought by Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) who challenged President Joe Biden’s victory over former President Donald Trump. Kelly had asked the Supreme Court to consider his lawsuit which challenged mail-in voting policies in his home state of Pennsylvania.
Kelly argued that Act 77, the 2019 state statute that authorized universal, no-excuses mail-in voting, violated the Constitution.
The Supreme Court also denied a petition seeking review in Republican Party of Pennsylvania v. Degraffenreid. Another case dismissed was brought by lawyer L. Lin Wood against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, challenging results and policies in Georgia…
You’ve probably never heard of Chicago’s U.S. attorney John Lausch. For the last two years, he has been going after some of the biggest, most powerful Democrats in the state of Illinois.
His office indicted a Chicago alderman who had been serving since 1969. Edward Burke had been in the crosshairs of prosecutors for four decades but it wasn’t until Lausch came into office that he was indicted.
Then there’s the case of the most powerful state politician in the United States, Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan. His aides and cronies have been indicted for various crimes of influence over the years and Lausch has now set his sights on Madigan himself. In fact, it’s believed Lausch has targeted some other high-profile Democratic politicians…
Every member of a school board in Northern California resigned on Friday after a video revealed they mocked parents during a virtual public meeting about reopening schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lisa Brizendine, president of the Oakley Union Elementary School District, resigned with members Kim Beede, Erica Ippolito and Richie Masadas, Fox News reported. Schools Superintendent Greg Hetrick described the comments as ‘truly inappropriate’ and issued an apology on Thursday.
‘Last night at the Oakley Union Elementary School District Regular Board Meeting there were unfortunate and truly inappropriate comments made that were heard by many. These comments are not typical and more importantly they are not what the community should expect from our school district,’ he said.
‘The comments made were not in alignment with our Vision…
Australian reporter Cory Bernardi is the first mainstream host to report on Joe Biden’s obvious dementia that is apparent to anyone paying attention. No one in the U.S. liberal media is strong enough to point this out – fake President Biden is out to lunch. He is in an escalating stage of cognitive decline.
Bernardi shared this on Friday, “Such was the hatred of Donald Trump by the partisan and poisonous mainstream media that they chose not to highlight anything that may have derailed a Biden victory. Even now after he’s been sworn in many are still refusing to speak the truth.”
SKY News reported:
It is clear U.S. President Joe Biden is not up to the task he has been “sworn in to do”…
Republicans in the New York Assembly have initiated impeachment proceedings against Governor Andrew Cuomo over his policies killing scores of nursing home residents by housing them with COVID-19 patients, and then allegedly obstructing the subsequent investigation.
They want to form an impeachment commission that will investigate Cuomo’s alleged crimes and present a body of evidence showing the need to remove the embattled Democrat boss.
“The Cuomo Administration’s nursing home cover-up is one of the most alarming scandals we’ve seen in state government,” Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay said in a statement.
“It is incumbent upon the Legislature to undertake a comprehensive, bipartisan review of the Cuomo Administration’s policies, decisions and actions on this matter and render a decision on what steps must be taken to hold the governor accountable,” Barclay added.
While the Assembly is dominated by Democrats, Cuomo’s corruption has appalled members of his own party…
On February 18, 2021, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte signed Constitutional Carry into law. Under HB 102, lawful individuals who are already eligible to carry under state law can now carry a firearm without a permit.
“Governor Gianforte is a true friend of Montana gun owners,” stated Gun Owners of America’s Senior Vice President Erich Pratt. “The previous, anti-gun governor Steve Bullock kept vetoing legislation to expand permitless carry to the entire state. But with Gianforte, we now have a true Second Amendment champion sitting at the governor’s desk.”
Gianforte’s predecessor, Steve Bullock, was the primary obstacle behind Constitutional Carry’s failure to pass in previous years…
Here’s what a U.S. senator does: Make laws, authorize and appropriate federal funds, provide for the common defense and the general welfare, regulate commerce among the states and with foreign nations, declare war and maintain and regulate the military, impeach federal officers including the president, advise and consent to treaties and appointments of judges and federal officials.
For the record, a U.S. senator doesn’t do anything when a snowstorm hits his or her home state. If they happen to be home at the time, maybe they can help their neighbor shovel the driveway. And sure, they can press the White House to declare a state of emergency and dispatch federal money to help, but that’s about it.
On the other hand, the governor has broad responsibilities, as do mayors of cities, such as providing emergency shelters and plowing the roads. They do the heavy lifting.
So why all the hand-wringing about Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) leaving the suddenly snow-filled state of Texas and heading with his kids to Cancun for a little R&R in the Mexican sun?…
Six Capitol Police officers were suspended and 35 are under investigation after the officers opened the doors and gates and allowed Trump supporters, and other activists, inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
One video from that day shows Capitol Hill police opening a gate to allow hundreds of protesters inside the U.S. Capitol. Another video shows Capitol Police allowing protesters to walk right in the U.S .Capitol.
There are several videos like this.
Later 250 Trump supporters and others were arrested for storming the U.S. Capitol – after they were allowed inside…
Former President Donald Trump is considering joining a new social media platform but stated he might create his own – coming after he was suspended by Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and other Big Tech websites last month.
In an interview with Newsmax on Wednesday night – one of his first since leaving office – the former commander-in-chief said he is weighing his options after Twitter moved against him.
“We’re negotiating with a number of people, and there’s also the other option of building your own site. Because we have more people than anybody. I mean you can literally build your own site,” Trump said, adding that he is considering building his own platform.
“I really wanted to be somewhat quiet. They wanted me very much on Parler, you know they had a phony report that the man who was in there didn’t – I mean just the opposite, they really wanted me on Parler,” Trump said, referring to statements made by Parler’s former CEO John Matze…
A South Carolina bill that bans abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable may become law this week.
WMBF News reports the state House passed the South Carolina Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act in a 79-35 vote Wednesday following its approval in the state Senate in late January.
The pro-life bill prohibits abortions after an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, typically about six weeks of pregnancy. Exceptions would be allowed in cases of rape, incest or risks to the mother’s life. Abortionists who violate the law could face a $10,000 fine or imprisonment for up to two years…
The Republican Party is a damn joke. They are disgusting, outrageous, and lost. After sitting back and watching the Democrats steal the 2020 landslide election away from President Trump and then denying any election wrongdoing, the Republicans now want to look into election integrity.
Go to hell, we don’t believe you.
The 2020 election was the most corrupt and criminal enterprise in US history. This one act will cost America millions in jobs and income for years to come. It will result in China taking back all they lost during the Trump years. The border is already open. The U.S. energy sector is already in turmoil. And Iran is already attacking U.S. bases in Iraq.
The freedoms that Americans once cherished are already whittled away to almost nothing thanks to the COVID crisis. Now there are no signs of this madness letting up. There is no freedom of speech anymore. Social media giants act like China lackeys.,,
Conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh died Wednesday morning at the age of 70 following a battle with advanced lung cancer, his wife Kathryn Limbaugh announced at the beginning of his Wednesday radio program.
“It is with profound sadness I must share with you directly that our beloved Rush, my wonderful husband, passed away this morning due to complications from lung cancer,” Katheryn announced.
“Rush will forever be the greatest of all time, she added.
Limbaugh, host of The Rush Limbaugh Show for 32 years, had been battling Stage 4 lung cancer since January 2020…
The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) released its tenth annual report on universities considered to be the “worst offenders” of free speech.
Many of these universities are public, taxpayer-funded schools and are bound by the First Amendment. Private universities offer some policy or mission statement related to free expression on campus, which FIRE deems an explicit promise to students and staff that their speech will not be punished.
“It’s not easy to get on these lists,” FIRE said in a statement. “The colleges you’ll read about below had to work really hard. They went out of their way to threaten student journalists, dismiss professors for protected speech, render a student homeless during a pandemic for his speech, and refuse club recognition for groups just because of their viewpoint.”
The list is written alphabetically, not in ranking order. Here are the ten worst colleges for free speech in 2021…
By the thousands, U.S. service members are refusing or putting off the COVID-19 vaccine as frustrated commanders scramble to knock down internet rumors and find the right pitch that will persuade troops to get the shot.
Some Army units are seeing as few as one-third agree to the vaccine. Military leaders searching for answers believe they have identified one potential convincer: an imminent deployment. Navy sailors on ships heading out to sea last week, for example, were choosing to take the shot at rates exceeding 80% to 90%.
Air Force Maj. Gen. Jeff Taliaferro, vice director of operations for the Joint Staff, told Congress on Wednesday that “very early data” suggests that just up to two-thirds of the service members offered the vaccine have accepted…
