President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he would immediately sign a standalone bill providing $1,200 stimulus checks to Americans.
“If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy?” the president wrote on Twitter, referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)
Trump issued the message hours after he ordered White House negotiators to cut off stimulus talks with the Democrats until after the election. The White House and Democrats have been negotiating for months to try to reach a compromise on a fresh stimulus bill.
“We made a very generous offer of $1.6 Trillion Dollars and, as usual, she is not negotiating in good faith,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “I am rejecting their request, and looking to the future of our Country. I have instructed my representatives to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business.”…
President Donald Trump on Tuesday night tweeted that he has “fully authorized” the “total Declassication” of any and all documents pertaining to the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign and Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
“I have fully authorized the total Declassification of any & all documents pertaining to the single greatest political CRIME in American History, the Russia Hoax. Likewise, the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal. No redactions!” Trump tweeted.
Trump’s tweet was in response to a tweet by RealClearInvestigations journalist Paul Sperry, who had tweeted earlier: “When all the documents are finally declassified, and all the redactions removed from reports, the nation will see that the FBI and CIA not only knew the Russia ‘collusion’ allegations against Trump were a political dirty trick, but that they were in on the trick.”…
A young couple from the Washington, D.C., area was indicted and arrested for allegedly selling multiple illegal explosive devices to an undercover agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Southern Maryland News Net reported that 29-year-old Brittany Nicole Adams of Landover, MD, and 30-year-old Anthony Benson, Jr. of Washington, D.C., were arrested for “conspiracy to distribute explosive devices and three counts of distribution of explosive devices.”
The investigation into the couple began when ATF found advertisements for explosive devices being offered for sale. The ad listed the explosives as “dynamite.” An undercover ATF agent inquired about the explosives and agreed to meet with the seller in Washington, D.C.
“In June of 2020, ATF agents conducted an undercover controlled purchase of suspected explosive devices after Adams and Benson met with the undercover agent in response to communication related to the sale advertisement,” News Net reported. “…
Eddie Van Halen, legendary guitarist and co-founder of rock band Van Halen, died of cancer at 65. His son, Wolfgang Van Halen, confirmed the news on Twitter on Tuesday.
“I can’t believe I’m having to write this, but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning,” he said. “He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift. My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from his loss. I love you so much, Pop.”
Eddie was something of a musical contradiction. He was an autodidact who could play almost any instrument, but he couldn’t read music. He was a classically trained pianist who also created some of the most distinctive guitar riffs in rock history…
In George Orwell’s dystopian view of the totalitarian state in his novel 1984, freedom of speech and expression is controlled completely, and if the individual seeks to articulate his views openly it is considered to be something called “thoughtcrime,” “the essential crime that contained all others in itself.”
And in that repressive future, the enforcers of intellectual conformity, using the mandatory relinquishing of individual thought and imagination, were the Thought Police, who forced “the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every moment scrutinized.”
Now, in an effort to filter out any visible or invisible racism in their law school classrooms, the Black Law Students Association of University of San Diego’s Law School have proposed creating their own version of Orwell’s ThinkPol.
“As Black law students we are privileged with the opportunity to pursue a legal education and seek membership to the legal profession…
A grand jury in Tyler County, Texas has indicted Netflix for “promoition of lewd visual material depicting a child” over the movie “Cuties,” which depicts 11-year-old girls learning to perform sexualized dance moves with a plot loosely wrapped around it.
According to the indictment, Netflix knowingly promoted “visual material which depicts the lewd exhibition of the genitals or public area of a clothed or partially clothed child who was younger than 18 years of age,” which “appeals to the prurient interest in sex, and has no serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.”
“The film routinely fetishizes and sexualizes these pre-adolescent girls as they perform dances simulating sexual conduct in revealing clothing, including at least one scene with partial child nudity,” said Sen. Ted Cruz…
Even though a state supreme court ruling recently invalidated her emergency powers, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is refusing to give up her illicit control.
Whitmer is working through Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and having her bureaucratic henchmen do her dirty work as she attempts to sidestep the court ruling.
MDHHS Director Robert Gordon has issued a new emergency order mandating face masks in public, restricting bars and other venues, and limiting gathering sizes.
“A divided Michigan Supreme Court struck down these requirements on Friday. Our order today flows from a legal authority not at issue in Friday’s case. It is important we stay the course we’ve been on. When it comes to defeating COVID-19, we’re all in this together,” Gordon said in his announcement.
The Whitmer administration is continuing to repeat the same talking points that they have used throughout the pandemic to stupefy the masses into submission…
Two grieving sons in England tried to move their chairs next to their grieving mother during the Friday funeral for their father, Alan Wright, but they were reportedly told by a staff member to move back due to coronavirus guidelines.
“I can sit in a restaurant, I can sit in a pub, I can live at her house, I can travel in a limousine to the crematorium with 6,” Craig Bicknell, one of the sons, reportedly wrote in a Facebook post. “I want to give my mum a cuddle at dads funeral and this prick comes flying out aggressively in front of all shouting stop the services and makes us split.”
As the funeral service began at Crownhill Crematorium, Bicknell and his brother began moving their chairs closer to their mother, according to The Telegraph…
It’s difficult to open a business in some parts of the country because of all the red tape involved. One of the places where that’s definitely the case is San Francisco.
Last Friday the San Francisco Chronicle published a column outlining Jason Yu’s attempt to open an ice cream shop in the city and the months and months of delays he has faced trying to take his project through various slow-moving departments.
Yu decided he wanted to open a shop selling green tea flavored ice cream back in 2018. Eventually, he found an empty storefront and in June 2019 he signed a lease which cost him $7,300 per month.
He knew it would take a few months to open but he was prepared for that. He hired an architect to make plans for new electrical and plumbing but there were no structural changes needed and no changes to the outside of the building. Six months later, in June 2019, he submitted his plans to the Department of Building Inspection. And that’s when his real nightmare began…
President Donald Trump announced that he would leave Walter Reed Medical Center Monday at 6:30 p.m. after being treated for the coronavirus.
“I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M.,” he wrote on Twitter. “Feeling really good!”
The president’s physicians are expected to brief reporters on the president’s condition shortly. The president was transferred to the hospital on Friday and remained there over the weekend.
Trump offered some advice for Americans, after personally experiencing the fight with the virus. “Don’t be afraid of Covid,” he wrote…
It was another one of those Jussie Smollett-like “hate crimes” that sounded perfectly made up to any well-adjusted person, which probably explains why liberals fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.
A biracial woman in Madison, Wisconsin, told police officers back in June that she was attacked by four racist white men who looked like frat boys. The woman, Althea Bernstein, 18, claimed the four men pulled alongside her vehicle at a stoplight, called her a racial epithet, sprayed lighter fluid through her open window, and then lit the teenager on fire.
It happened to be the same night that Black Lives Matter vandals tossed a molotov cocktail through a window at a nearby government building.
While police have ruled out any connection between Bernstein and the arson, police are now closing their exhaustive investigation into Bernstein’s alleged hate crime after finding zero evidence to corroborate her story…
Earlier today President Donald Trump left Walter Reed Hospital in his motorcade for a quick drive by his supporters outside the hospital. The President waved to supporters from his motorcade.
Later tonight President Trump delivered dozens of pizzas to supporters outside the hospital. The president sent several pizzas from Dominoes every 45 minutes.
This is OUR President – thinking of others as he recovers from coronavirus in a hospital. More pizzas for Trump supporters.
Says one supporter, “You know it’s from Trump because the pizza isn’t gluten free. There’s meat on it. Trump’s an alpha.”…
Tuesday night saw a firehose-style stream of ridiculous statements and ironic positions taken by the Democrat presidential nominee. But it’s hard to even fault Joe Biden for that, seeing as though he comes from a political movement that lives by the grift.
There was a time when Democrats were the party of the working man. Democrats, at least some of them, were the coal miners, the auto mechanics, the electricians.
Now? Now, they’re the lobbyists, the PR consultants, the diversity coordinators, and the nonprofit apparatchiks.
That party is fronted almost completely by people who don’t exist in the productive economy. The most productive Democrats in the private sector are in tech or the creative industries, but the bulk of the folks who really make the wheels turn don’t create a thing.
Rather, they redistribute.
Joe Biden has spent 47 years in that realm…
Jay Inslee, the left wing governor of Washington State, is freaking out because Boeing has decided to move production of its 787 airplane to the more conservative and business friendly South Carolina.
Who can blame Boeing for making such a move, especially if it benefits them financially Besides, in Seattle, leaders have shown that they will allow mobs of left wingers to destroy businesses.
KING 5 News reports:
Boeing will relocate all 787 Dreamliner production from Everett to South Carolina, the company confirmed Thursday…
Northwards of 3,100 people were shot in Chicago so far in the year of 2020. According to a Chicago Tribune report, the total number of shootings victims came out to 3,132 thus far. AWR Hawkins of Breitbart News noted that these numbers included “the fatally wounded as well as those who survived.”
In the Tribune report, the number of homicides that took place from January 1, 2020, up until September 28, 2020, reached 576. On the other hand, CNN reported fewer than 500 homicides for the entire year of 2019.
What’s taking place in Chicago is part of a larger trend sweeping across the country. Democrat-controlled cities have become cesspools of corruption and public disorder. As a result of gun control policies and lax criminal justice policies, these cities have descended into total disarray and lawful individuals have little means of defending themselves.
Hawkins highlighted some of the cities witnessing this uptick in violence…
President Donald Trump announced shortly after midnight that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for coronavirus. The president said he and the First Lady will be going into their “quarantine and recovery process immediately.”
The First Lady added in her own tweet that she and the president are “feeling good” and she has “postponed all upcoming engagements.”
The news of Trump’s positive test came hours after it was earlier confirmed that his close aide Hope Hicks had tested positive for the virus earlier on Thursday after exhibiting symptoms during Trump’s trip to Duluth, Minnesota, for a rally on Wednesday night. Hicks had accompanied the president on that trip…
Twenty-two days before President Obama left office, the U.S. ambassador to Kiev wrote top officials in Washington that she feared Burisma Holdings had made a second bribe to Ukrainian officials – shortly before a corruption probe against Hunter Biden’s natural gas employer was abruptly closed before Donald Trump took office.
The concerns are detailed in new memos belatedly released to Just the News under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department.
The suit was brought on behalf of the news organization by the public interest law firm the Southeastern Legal Foundation.
Then-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s concerns were first raised in a Ukrainian news story about a Russian-backed fugitive lawmaker in Ukraine, who alleged Burisma had dumped low-priced natural gas into the market for officials near Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to buy low and sell high, making a bribe disguised as a profit…
An attorney representing Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who fatally shot two agitators, and wounded another during a violent riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has vowed to sue Joe Biden and the Biden/Harris Campaign for libel. President Trump “is not Biden’s biggest problem,” attorney L.Lin Wood declared on Wednesday.
Biden, in an effort to paint President Trump as a racist supporter of white supremacism, tweeted out a video montage of alleged white supremacists that included an image of the 17-year-old Rittenhouse carrying an AR-15 rifle in Kenosha during the August 25 riot.
“There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night,” Biden tweeted…
A new migrant “caravan” departed the city of San Pedro Sula in Honduras on Wednesday, hoping to reach the United States in the coming weeks.
CBS News has reported that some in Central America have promoted the idea of a new caravan on social media recently. The group had been slated to leave on October 1, but travelers carrying knapsacks and minimal supplies left the staging grounds for the caravan on Wednesday night.
Initial reports indicate that 900 prospective migrants have joined the caravan. The formations have historically grown as the large groups travel through Guatemala and Mexico, although they usually taper off in size before the travelers reach the U.S.-Mexico border.
The ‘caravan’ phenomenon reached its peak in 2018, when formations of hopeful migrants of up to 10,000 were traveling through Mexico in hopes of reaching the United States. The introduction of the Trump administration’s ‘Stay-in-Mexico’ policy has proved integral to deterring the phenomenon…
For months now violent leftists, antifa terrorists and Black Lives Matter have been torching businesses, terrorizing communities, shooting cops, looting stores and rioting in cities across America.
But at last night’s debate Chris Wallace demanded that President Trump denounce white supremacist violence in our streets. And Joe Biden added that Trump needed to condemn the white supremacist Proud Boys group. This was an atrocious lie.
On Wednesday Proud Boy International Chairman Enrique Tarrio, an African-Hispanic American, spoke out against the smear that Proud Boys is a white supremacist group as Joe Biden claims…
President Donald Trump signed a stopgap spending bill in the early hours of Thursday to extend government funding through to Dec. 11, averting a government shutdown as the new fiscal year began at midnight.
The bill was approved in the Senate by a bipartisan 84-10 vote late Wednesday. Trump signed the bill shortly after returning from a campaign rally in Duluth, Minnesota.
The temporary spending bill – H.R. 8337, the “Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021 and Other Extensions Act” – is required to maintain current funding levels to keep federal agencies running and extend most programs because the Senate has not acted on any of the 12 annual spending bills for the fiscal year that ends on Sept. 30, 2021. These bills deal with some 30 percent of the federal government’s day-to-day budget.
Trump’s signing of the bill allows appropriators and congressional leaders until Dec. 11 to work out budget details dealing with the 12 spending bills…
