One of the monkeys was later spotted in a tree chewing one of the sample collection kits, the Times of India reported.

Dr S. K. Garg, a top official at the college, told Reuters: “Monkeys grabbed and fled with the blood samples of four Covid-19 patients who are undergoing treatment… we had to take their blood samples again.”…

The Rock Hill Herald reports that Jackleen Elizabeth Mullen, 23, and her live-in boyfriend Audrevious Jarrell Williams, 26, have both been arrested and charged in connection with the case.

While at a bond hearing on Wednesday in Rock Hill, police Det. Keenan McCrorey described how Mullen lied about the child’s whereabouts after an investigation started into the disappearance of her disabled daughter, India Martin.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the couple’s residence shortly after determining the child was not with her father in North Carolina, as Mullen allegedly claimed.

President Trump just threatened to send the National Guard into Minneapolis in order to get the city under control if their ‘radical left mayor’ can’t get his act together and bring the city under control:

“…These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”

Minneapolis Police Station Torched By Rioters – Fox News
.

.
The Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis was set ablaze Thursday night as violent protests continued in the city – and other cities across the U.S. – following Monday’s death of George Floyd, a black man who died while in police custody.

More than 500 members of the National Guard were heading to the Twin Cities region, called in by Gov. Tim Walz, the Star Tribune of Minneapolis reported.

Rioters broke into the precinct around 10 p.m. local time, after police on the rooftop previously tried to disperse a gathering crowd using “flash bang” shots and tear gas, according to reports. The rioters entered the building and sparked the fire after police officers on the roof were rescued by helicopter, reports said…

Soldier Stops Active Shooter By Running Him Over With His Car – Daily Caller

When a man got out of his car on a crowded bridge between Kansas and Missouri and began shooting, Master Sergeant David Royer told his fiancée to call 911, hung up the phone, and ran over the gunman with his Chevy.

Royer was driving on Centennial bridge Wednesday morning when a man jumped out of his car and began shooting indiscriminately at cars, the New York Times reported.

Royer, who served in the army for 15 years, told reporters Thursday that “I was shocked that it was happening and the adrenaline took over and, with the military training that I’ve received, I took appropriate action and took out the threat.”

Two cars were struck with bullets, but nobody inside was injured, according to the Times. One person was struck by a bullet and he, along with the gunman, was taken to a hospital. Both are in critical condition, but are stable, Leavenworth police chief Pat Kitchens said at a news conference Wednesday…

DOJ: Massive $2.5 Billion North Korean Money Laundering Scheme Was Used To Facilitate Nuclear Proliferation – Law & Crime
.

.
In a federal indictment unsealed for the first time Thursday, the Department of Justice alleged that North Korea’s state-owned bank and dozens of individuals engaged in a multi-year international money laundering scheme that facilitated more than $2.5 billion in illegal payments for the nation’s nuclear weapons and missile program.

Federal prosecutors charged 28 North Koreans and five Chinese nationals, claiming they conducted the covert operation to circumvent sanctions that the U.S. Department of Treasury imposed on the nation’s Foreign Trade Bank (FTB).

According to the indictment, which was filed in February in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, agents working for FTB created more than 250 “front companies”…

House Fails To Pass FISA Reauthorization After Trump Veto Threat – PJ Media

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) expired last March without Congress reauthorizing the program. The House tried twice this week to wrestle together some kind of compromise that would pass muster with the Republican Senate.

But Donald Trump indicated he would veto the bill in its present form and Republicans, who had voted for reauthorization in March, withdrew their support.

Realizing they couldn’t pass anything without the support of some Republicans, Democrats pulled the bill from the floor and after a late-night conference with Republicans, decided to go on to a conference committee with the Senate find a compromise.

Civil libertarians were relieved as some of the amendments they want to be included in any FISA reauthorization were left out. Now, they can attempt to influence the conference committee…

‘Armed Rednecks’ Defend Stores From Looters Amid George Floyd Protests – New Tork Post
.

.
Armed citizens in Minneapolis stood guard against looters who ravaged the city Wednesday night over the death of George Floyd.

Two bearded men with long rifles strapped to their chests told a reporter for the Minnesota Reformer outside a tobacco shop that they supported the protests but not the violence that came with them.

“Basically you see the records that cops keep. And cops are a lot less likely to try and tread on people’s rights when there’s other armed Americans with them,” one of the men says in a video taken by the reporter, Max Nesterak. “I figured it’s about damn time that some heavily armed rednecks stood with fellow citizens.”…

White House Preparing Executive Order On Social Media Censorship – Big League Politics

President Trump is preparing to sign an unspecified executive order dealing with the ramifications of social media censorship, reports indicated on Wednesday.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed that the President is planning on signing the order to reporters on Air Force One.

The White House has ‘monitored’ the rampant political censorship tactics utilized by social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to silence conservatives, nationalists, and others for years, but it seems President Trump might finally be willing to act in order to halt Silicon Valley’s authoritarian instincts to crush free speech.

A soft censorship tactic utilized by Twitter on some recent Trump tweets may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. The platform has begun inserting ‘fact-checking’ editorial content on the President’s tweet, falsely claiming that some of the new mail-in voting schemes being executed by Democrats are foolproof, as the President argues otherwise…

.
Rioting in Minneapolis, Minnesota left buildings burned to the ground, huge stores stripped of their wears and at least one man dead in from Wednesday afternoon leading into Thursday morning.

The original demonstration that gave way to the riots was planned in response to the death of a Minneapolis man, George Floyd, at the hands of police Tuesday.

Daily Caller reporter Kyle Hooten was on the ground during the riot where he captured footage that shows extensive looting and arson…

Illinois Judge Blasts DemoNazi Governor’s Lockdown Regulations: ‘Americans Don’t Get Ruled’ – Daily Wire

A downstate Illinois judge blasted both the state’s Democrat governor, J.B. Pritzker, and the governor’s stay-at-home order in a ruling issued over the weekend, calling the continued coronavirus-related lockdown measures “insanity” and “completely devoid of anything approaching common sense.”

The Chicago Sun-Times reported, earlier this week, that Clay County Judge Michael McHaney, who has already issued one ruling exempting a Republican state lawmaker from the governor’s lockdown orders, again issued a ruling granting a temporary restraining order, this time to James Mainer, an Iraq War veteran, and his business, HCL Deluxe Tan LLC, exempting Mainer and his business from the stay-at-home order.

In this ruling, though, McHaney let the governor have it, pointing out inconsistency after inconsistency in Pritzker’s orders, excoriating the Illinois state government for allowing marijuana dispensaries and Wal-Marts to operate but not small businesses and religious institutions…

Ilhan Omar Says She Believes Gropey Joe Committed Sexual Assault, But Will Vote For Him Anyway Because Orange Man Bad – The Independent

Democrat “squad” member Ilhan Omar says she believes sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden but would vote for him anyway to defeat Donald Trump. In a Tweet defending her support of accuser Tara Reade, the Minnesota congresswoman said that “believing survivors is consistent with my values”.

“With that said, in this interview I did on 6 May, we talked about that and quotes aren’t always in context. I will vote for him and help him defeat Trump,” she said. “This is the most important election cycle of our lifetimes and we aren’t going to have a chance if we don’t spend our energy in mobilising and building enthusiasm against Trump.”

Ms Omar was responding to criticisms of her comments in an interview with The Sunday Times…

Indian Scientists Discover Hydroxychloroquine Treatment Prevents Covid-19, Vindicating Trump – Big League Politics

Indian scientists have discovered that hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malarial drug that is regularly used to treat COVID-19, also prevents individuals from being able to contract the illness.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has discovered that ingesting hydroxychloroquine can help healthy individuals fend off the coronavirus. The fake news media has been desperate to demonize the drug while globalists like Bill Gates plot to push widespread vaccinations as the only way to end the pandemic that has shaken the world.

The ICMR issued an advisory last week to drastically expand the use of hydroxychloroquine in an attempt to save lives throughout India. They conducted three separate studies to come to their conclusion that taking hydroxychloroquine can prevent coronavirus.

The ICMR is now encouraging essential workers such as cops, paramilitary, surveillance staff, and medical personnel to take hydroxychloroquine as “preventive therapy.”…

House Republicans Sue Nancy Pelosi In Effort To Stop Unconstitutional Proxy Voting – Fox News
.

.
House Republicans filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to block a system of proxy voting put in place during the coronavirus pandemic on the grounds that it is unconstitutional.

Proxy voting would allow House members to vote on another person’s behalf if they are not able to be physically present at the Capitol, an unprecedented exception for an unparalleled health crisis.

At least 59 Democrats have submitted letters to the House Clerk’s office to authorize their vote to be cast by proxy. Meanwhile, GOP lawmakers have said they will be in the Capitol to cast their votes…

CDC Estimates Put Covid-19 Fatality Rate At 0.26%, Over 13 Times Lower Than Initial WHO Claim – WorldNetDaily

It’s a number that informed so many of our public policy decisions regarding COVID-19: 3.4 percent.

On March 3, in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, World Health Organization director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made a remark during a media briefing that guided how we viewed the threat posed by the novel coronavirus.

“While many people globally have built up immunity to seasonal flu strains, COVID-19 is a new virus to which no one has immunity. That means more people are susceptible to infection, and some will suffer severe disease,” Tedros said during the briefing.

“Globally, about 3.4 percent of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1 percent of those infected.”

Now, was this based on incomplete information? Of course.

At some level, it’s difficult to blame individuals working from a very limited data set…

Republicans Sue DemoNazi Governor Of California Over Vote-By-Mail Mandate – Breitbart
.

.
The Republican National Committee (RNC), the National Republican Congressional Committee (RNCC), and the California Republican Party (CRP) sued California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and Secretary of State Alex Padilla (D) on Sunday over Newsom’s order earlier this month to send every registered voter a vote-by-mail ballot for November.

The Republican lawsuit joins an earlier lawsuit filed by former Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who is running for Congress again, and by voters from different parties, who allege that Newsom violated the provisions of the U.S. Constitution as well as state law by acting outside the state legislature and county governments in mandating a vote-by-mail election.

Newsom’s executive order of May 8 cited the coronavirus pandemic in justifying the decision to make November’s election an all-mail election…

Teacher Gave Students Cupcakes Tainted With Deputy Husband’s Semen, Lawsuits Allege – Crime Online

A former Louisiana sheriff’s deputy husband and ex-teacher wife who were arrested in October on rape charges also gave students cupcakes that were tainted with bodily fluids, multiple lawsuits have alleged.

WBRZ reported that four civil lawsuits, the latest filed last week, accused Dennis Perkins, 44, of putting his semen in batches of cupcakes that his wife, Cynthia Perkins, 35, served to Westside Junior High School students in November 2018 and May 2019.

According to The Advocate, the most recent lawsuit not only alleged that Cynthia Perkins gave a female student the tainted cupcakes, but that she also showed the student sexually-explicit images in addition to photographing and videotaping her.

In other lawsuits citing the incident, a father of a student who consumed the cupcakes said they’ve been unable to find a job due to crippling depression. Another lawsuit stated that a parent and student have suffered behavioral, mental health, and sleep issues due to the ordeal…

Where Is Cuomo’s Apology For Killing 10,000 People? – Dov Fischer
.

.
Look, there is a difference between “murder” and “killing.” Murder is purposeful and indefensible, regardless of degree. By contrast, humans value professionals who kill ants, spiders, roaches, and termites. Killing is more nuanced. Soldiers kill the enemy, and that is the whole idea. Police kill bad guys, and that usually is very good. Store owners kill people who hold them up, and that usually is fabulous.

Other killings are not acceptable. Thus, accidental killings still are tortious, if not always criminal. Automobile and other roadway killings. Accidents at home.

And then there is Cuomo.

I do not quite fathom the mind of the quintessential New York Democrat liberal…

Stop Believing In Science – Daniel Greenfield

The alchemists and astrologists who were the distant ancestors of modern science believed in a world of absolute truths. Uncovering the right formula, searching the sweep of sky, offered total control over the otherwise mysterious forces of the universe.

Our current knowledge of the way that things are tells us that while the universe may have absolute realities, our understanding of them will never be so.

Quantum indeterminacy has left us with a universe in which the drive to know is constrained by our search for knowledge. Existence seems to be built to challenge our hubris, forcing us to think about our flaws, limiting us to dimensions and points in time, and asking us to accept what we cannot know.

The universe is not a machine that we can take apart and rebuild. It is built to be partly unknowable. And the more we study the universe, the more we understand the importance of the observer…
