Down Syndrome Drag Show Kicked Out Of Venue After Public Outrage – Big League Politics
.

.
A showing of a down syndrome drag show has been kicked out of a venue in Grand Rapids, MI following public outrage.

The organizers still claim that “Drag Syndrome” will be performed somewhere else in the city on Sept. 7, as apart of the Project 1 contest by ArtPrize. The organization holding the contest is not happy about the decision made by owners of the venue.

ArtPrize released a statement saying that the organization “has always supported free artistic expression by all participants and has not denied or screen individuals. Consistent with this, we believe it would be inappropriate to limit the participation of performers who have Down syndrome.”…

Leftist Insanity Update: New Jersey Awards Illegal Aliens $3.8 Million In Financial Aid – Breitbart

A local news report revealed that the state of New Jersey awarded $3.8 million in financial aid to illegal immigrants during the 2018-2019 school year.

According to a report from NJ.com, the state of New Jersey gave $3.8 million in financial aid to 749 illegal immigrant students in the last academic year. More than a quarter of the funding went to 328 illegal immigrants that attend Rutgers University.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a law last year that allowed illegal immigrants to apply for financial aid. Prior to the signing, illegal immigrants were permitted to apply to pay in-state tuition at public universities but they were not eligible for financial aid.

Murphy, who supports the spending, hit back at Republican critics by arguing that giving financial aid to illegal immigrants is compatible with American values. “I’d even invite any of those folks who have that attitude, beginning with our president, to come on into this room and allow me or any of us to say, ‘This is the United States of America,’” Murphy said…

Trump Hits Back At China With More Tariffs Following China’s Retaliation – Epoch Times

In the latest escalation of the U.S.-China trade war, President Donald Trump announced on Twitter Aug. 23 that he will balance the “very unfair trading relationship” with the Chinese regime by raising tariffs on $250 billion worth of Chinese goods from 25 percent to 30 percent. The new rate will go into effect on Oct. 1.

“For many years China (and many other countries) has been taking advantage of the United States on Trade, Intellectual Property Theft, and much more. Our country has been losing hundreds of billions of dollars a year to China, with no end in sight,” Trump said in an Aug. 23 tweet. “As President, I can no longer allow this to happen!” he added.

Trump’s decision came after China imposed an additional 10 percent of tariffs on roughly $75 billion worth of U.S. goods earlier in the day, a tit-for-tat retaliation for the U.S. administration’s decision to impose tariffs on a previously untaxed $300 billion worth of Chinese goods that will go into effect on Sept. 1…

.

.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just completed three weeks of radiation treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court disclosed Friday.

The radiation therapy, conducted on an outpatient basis, began Aug. 5, shortly after a localized cancerous tumor was discovered on Ginsburg’s pancreas. The treatment included the insertion of a stent in Ginsburg’s bile duct, according to a statement issued by the court.

Doctors at Sloan Kettering said further tests showed no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. The treatment comes just months after Ginsburg was operated on for lung cancer last December. The 86-year-old justice has been treated for cancer in various forms over the past 20 years.

Nebraska Supreme Court Approves Keystone XL Pipeline – Wall Street Journal

The Nebraska Supreme Court upheld the state’s approval of the Keystone XL pipeline Friday, but hurdles to the long-delayed project remain.

The court ruled in favor of a state regulator’s decision to approve the route in 2017, bolstering the prospects for the pipeline expansion by TC Energy Corp., formerly known as TransCanada, which would take oil from Canada’s Alberta province to Nebraska.

The decision cleared the way for Keystone XL to pass through the state via an alternate route from the one originally proposed more than a decade ago. But the project continues to face legal obstacles, as well as steep opposition from environmentalists and Democratic politicians.

Notably, the project must still overcome a lawsuit in Montana, after a federal judge ruled that President Trump’s 2017 cross-border permit for the pipeline expansion hadn’t considered all impacts as required by federal law.

AG Barr Announced New Rules To Limit Rogue Immigration Judges – Independent Sentinel

The Justice Department proposed changes to the immigration court system Friday that would give more power to the agency’s political leadership. Attorney General William Barr has identified, in his own words, what the real problem is with the immigration policy in America – Immigration Judges.

Obama-era holdovers, leftists in the judiciary system are the ones blocking any and all progress on the process of immigration reform, according to Barr. And that must change.

Attorney General Bill Barr announced changes in who hears cases that should stop many of the fake asylum requests. That will give a clearer path to true asylum seekers.

Under the new rules, the director of the Executive Office of Immigration Review would have the power to personally decide the longest-running cases. It also limits the ability of the EOIR general counsel to influence the judges.

EOIR is the agency that hears deportation cases from illegal immigrants nabbed in the interior of the U.S…

Elizabeth Warren, The Worst Of The Bunch – Patricia McCarthy
.

.
“Hi, I’m Elizabeth Warren. Even though I’m as white as library paste, I pretended to be an American Indian to get preferment. My research on medical bankruptcies was as fraudulent as the way I gamed the racial spoils system. So you should totally trust me when I say I’m ‘capitalist to my bones’!”

The above quotation is from Armed & Dangerous… how each of the candidates would introduce themselves if he were honest. There is an imaginary intro for each of them, and they are all spot on, but because Warren is allegedly “surging,” and because she is the panderer-in-chief, her gross dishonesty must be exposed.

There is quite the contest among the declared candidates for the Democrat nomination…

DOJ: 64 Percent Of All Federal Arrests In 2018 Were Non-Citizens – Epoch Times

Non-citizens accounted for 64 percent of all federal arrests in 2018, according to new data released on Aug. 22 by the Justice Department. The surge was driven largely by immigration-crime arrests, which have soared to the highest level in at least two decades.

Federal authorities conducted 108,667 arrests for immigration crimes in 2018, up more than five times from the 20,942 arrests in 1998. Immigration arrests accounted for 95 percent of the total increase in the number of federal arrests over the past 20 years, the data shows.

That data also shows a spike in the percentage of arrests of non-citizens compared to arrests of U.S. citizens. In 1998, arrests of citizens accounted for 63 percent of the total arrests. In 2018, the ratio flipped, with arrests of non-citizens growing to 64 percent of the total.

In a press release accompanying the data, the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) noted that while non-citizens accounted for 7 percent of the U.S. population, they committed 24 percent of all federal drug arrests and 25 percent of all federal property arrests and 28 percent of all federal fraud arrests…

Iran Kicks Off ‘Massive’ War Games, Unveils Homemade Russian Missile System – Washington Free Beacon
.

.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ ground forces kicked off a “massive” set of war drills Thursday as the country unveiled its own homemade version of Russia’s advanced S-300 missile defense system in yet another showing of Tehran’s growing readiness for a possible war.

Iranian military leaders said the war games will mix with actual fighting as the IRGC forces seek to cleanse what they described as “anti-revolutionary terrorist groups” from along the country’s borders. The operations follow an attack on IRGC units in July that killed one and injured one other.

“The drill is a real one because the battlefield, enemy and the fighters are real,” Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, commander of the IRGC’s ground force, was quoted as telling the country’s state-controlled press…

According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, Solomon Nhiwatiwa, 34, is facing numerous charges in connection with the Friday incident, which reportedly happened off of Euclid Avenue in Euclid.

Sanctuary Governor: Roy Cooper Vetoes Bill Requiring Counties To Work With ICE In NC – Big League Politics

On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper vetoed a bill that would have made local law enforcement ask about prisoners’ immigration status and cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

Cooper claims that this bill is unconstitutional. According to The Hill, Cooper argues that this bill would weaken state enforcement by giving sheriffs tasks that belong to federal immigration agents.

This bill made it out both chambers of the North Carolina General Assembly, which have Republican majorities.

In statement Cooper said, “This legislation is simply about scoring partisan political points and using fear to divide North Carolina. As the former top law enforcement officer of our state, I know that current law allows the state to jail and prosecute dangerous criminals regardless of immigration status.”…

Trump: I Am ‘The Chosen One’ To Lead Trade War Against China – The Hill
.

President Trump on Wednesday rejected concerns that his trade war with China could slow the global economy into a recession, telling reporters he believes he is “the chosen one” to fight against decades of trade cheating from Beijing.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, the president sought to distance himself from the mounting economic damage of his battle with China, arguing that he is simply cleaning up messes left for him by his predecessors.

“Somebody said this is Trump’s trade war. It’s not my trade war. This is a trade war that should have taken place a long time ago by a lot of other presidents,” Trump said, criticizing former Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama…

Weekly Jobless Claims Fall More Than Expected – Breitbart

The number of Americans filing initial claims for unemployment benefits tumbled sharply last week, indicating that the labor market was unshaken by stock market volatility, the inverted yield curve, and concerns the economy is at risk of falling into a recession.

Jobless claims fell 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 209,000 for the week ended August 17. Economists had expected a smaller drop to 216,000.

The prior week was revised up by 1,000 to 221,000.

Weekly claims can be volatile so economists tend to look at the four-week moving average as a better gauge of the health of the labor market.

This edged up by 500 to 214,500.

Florida Man Arrested For Botching Castration On Victim He Met On Dark Web, Deputies Say – WGHP

A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly performed a botched castration at his home, according to the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office. Gary Van Ryswyk, 74, of Sebring, is charged with practicing medicine without a license resulting in bodily injury.

Deputies came to Van Ryswyk’s home after a 911 hang-up call just before midnight Sunday. In the home, deputies found a man on the bed with a towel over his groin bleeding heavily. The room was set up like a surgical center with medical equipment and painkillers. There was also a camera set up to record the procedure.

Van Ryswyk told deputies he met the victim on a website on the dark web for people with a castration fetish. He told the victim that he had experience on animals and had even removed one of his own testicles in 2012.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was later flown to a regional medical center. Van Ryswyk’s bond was set at $250,000…
