Johnny Manziel Signs With AAF, Will Join The Memphis Express – New York Post
.

.
Johnny Manziel is playing in a new football league. No, it’s not the NFL.

Manziel signed with the Alliance of American Football on Saturday night and will join the Memphis Express. The quarterback’s rights belonged to San Antonio of the spring league, but that team declined to sign him and Manziel then was free to join any of the other seven clubs. He was awarded through the AAF’s waiver system to the Express, who have a league-worst 1-5 record.

“We are pleased to welcome Johnny Manziel to Alliance of American Football, which we’ve always described as a league of opportunity for talented players to launch or revitalize their pro football careers,” Alliance co-founder Bill Polian said in a statement…

Man Cleaning Garage Finds Burglar Crushed By Fallen 900-Pound Floor Safe, Cops Say – Centre Daily Times

When Indiana homeowner George Hollingsworth noticed some damage Tuesday to the door frame on his garage, he suspected a break-in, the Marion Police Department wrote in a statement.

On Wednesday, Hollingsworth began cleaning out his cluttered garage to determine if anything had been stolen, police reported. That’s when he found the body of a suspected burglar crushed beneath a 900-pound antique floor safe that had apparently toppled onto the stranger, police wrote.

“My mind couldn’t comprehend it,” Hollingsworth said, WXIN reported. “This can’t be real. It’s like some strange tale.”

Police were called to the scene at 8:20 p.m., officers wrote.

Police wrote in their statement that the safe, which had been held up by a floor jack, appeared to have fallen over onto the intruder as he rummaged through the tightly packed garage…

Reuters Journalist Withheld Damaging Info About Beto O’Rourke Until After Senate Race – Daily Caller
.

.
Reuters bragged Friday about its scoop that Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke was once involved in a notorious hacker group, but revealed in the process that one of its reporters willingly sat on the story until after O’Rourke lost his Texas Senate race to incumbent Ted Cruz.

Reuters’ Joseph Menn reported exclusively Friday morning that O’Rourke, a former member of Congress and the latest Democrat to join the 2020 presidential race, had a secret membership in an infamous hacking group.

The group, known as the Cult of the Dead Cow (CDC), is the oldest and perhaps most influential collection of hackers in the U.S…

Secretary Of State Pompeo Announces Ban On Fascist International Criminal Court Officials Probing U.S. Soldiers For War Crimes – Zero Hedge

The U.S. has threatened to revoke visas for members of the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague should they so much as investigate any criminal actions of American military personnel.

The United States has never been a member of the ICC and considers it without authority over matters related to Americans or allies conducting joint operations.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a scathing rebuke Friday following ICC statements that it would look into possible US war crimes in Afghanistan, and as pressures mount for the court to bring cases against Israel for human rights crimes against Palestinians.

“We are determined to protect the American and allied military and civilian personnel from living in fear of unjust prosecution for actions taken to defend our great nation,” Pompeo said Friday.

Pompeo went so far as to specifically address ICC members and employees…

Comedy Gold: Australian Senator Slaps Teen For Cracking An Egg On The Back Of His Head During Live Interview – Daily Caller
.

.
Australian Senator Fraser Anning responded to having an egg cracked against the back of his head by turning around and slapping the perpetrator during a live television interview.

The Queensland senator, who previously called for a ban on Muslim immigration and is currently under fire for blaming New Zealand’s lax immigration policies for recent mosque shootings, was in Melbourne giving an interview to reporters on Friday when a young man started recording, then smashed an egg into the back of his head.

Anning quickly turned around and slapped the individual, who reportedly turned out to be a 17-year-old. Then he did it again before being separated from the altercation by a staffer. The unnamed teen was subsequently arrested by Victoria police, then reportedly released without charges…

French Protesters Set Fires, Smash Shops In Paris Riots – Associated Press

French yellow vest protesters set life-threatening fires, smashed up luxury stores and clashed with police Saturday in the 18th straight weekend of demonstrations against President Emmanuel Macron. Large plumes of smoke rose above the rioting on Paris’ landmark Champs-Elysees avenue, and a mother and her child were just barely saved from a building blaze.

The resurgent violence came as protesters are seeking to breathe new life into a movement that seemed to be fizzling, and get attention from French leaders and media whom they see as underplaying their economic justice cause and favoring the elite.

Paris police appeared to be caught off guard by the speed and severity of the unrest. French police tried to contain the demonstrators with repeated volleys of tear gas and water cannon, with limited success.

Cobblestones flew in the air and smoke from fires set by protesters mingled with clouds of tear gas sprayed by police, as tensions continued for hours along the Champs-Elysees…

Secretary Of State Pompeo Heads To Israel Ahead Of Contested Election – Washington Free Beacon
.

.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is scheduled to head to Israel next week ahead of a contested Israeli election that is seen as no guarantee for longtime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The timing of Pompeo’s trip has generated much speculation about whether he is throwing the Trump administration’s support behind Netanyahu as he is locked in the race of his political career, an election being followed closely across the Middle East as it could reshape the Jewish state’s government at a critical juncture in the United States’s regional fight to thwart Iran and its terrorist proxies.

Pompeo, State Department officials said, has no plan to wade into Israel’s election…

Socialist Utopia Update: Desperate Venezuelans Swarm Sewage Drains In Search Of Water – Reuters

As Venezuela’s five-day power blackout left homes without water, Lilibeth Tejedor found herself looking for it on Monday in the last place she would have imagined – a drain pipe feeding into a river carrying sewage through the capital, Caracas.

Tejedor, 28, joined dozens of people who had flocked to the Guaire river, which snakes along the bottom of a sharp ravine alongside Caracas’ main highway, to fill up a four-gallon (15 liter) plastic container.

Unlike the fetid liquid flowing through the Guaire river, the water emerging from the pipe was at least clear. Those who gathered to collect it said the water had been released by local authorities from reservoirs.

They added, however, that it was being carried through unsanitary pipes and should only be used to flush toilets or scrub floors. “I’ve never even seen this before. It’s horrible, horrible,” said Tejedor, preparing to carry the container on a small hand cart back to her home in the neighborhood of San Agustin…

President Trump Stamps Veto On ‘Reckless’ Attempt To Stop Wall Construction – Washington Times
.

.
President Trump flexed his veto for the first time in his administration Friday, rejecting Congress’s attempt to end his border emergency declaration and halt border wall construction.

Surrounded by “angel moms” who have lost children to illegal immigrant violence, Mr. Trump called the attempt to stop wall construction “reckless” and “dangerous.”

“Today I am vetoing this resolution. Congress has the freedom to pass this resolution and I have the duty to veto it,” he said. “I’m very proud to veto it.”

He was moving with striking speed, rejecting the legislation just a day after it cleared the Senate on a 59-41 vote. It had previously cleared the House 245-182…

‘Wax My Ass, Scrub My Balls’: Turns Out Drunk-Driving Fake Hispanic Beto O’Rourke Used To Write Really Bad Poetry – Daily Caller

Beto O’Rourke’s recently unearthed membership in the hacking group “Cult of the Dead Cow” may not have included the “edgiest sorts of hacking activity,” but it did, apparently, include writing murder fantasies and exceptionally bad poetry.

Writing under the now-exposed pseudonym “Psychedelic Warlord,” a teen-aged O’Rourke appears to be the author of a poem titled “The Song of the Cow,” published in 1988 by “cDc (Cult of the Dead Cow) communications.”

“I need a butt-shine,” the poem begins… and it really all just goes downhill from there:

I need a butt-shine,
Right now
You are holy,
Oh, sacred Cow
I thirst for you,

Albert Alfonso Garza, 32, was last seen dressed in drag reading to young children at the Montrose Library in September of last year, ABC reported.

All-Female Court Panel Overturns Rape Conviction Because Woman Is Too Ugly To Be Credible Victim – Daily Wire

Three female judges in an appeals court in Italy overturned a 2015 rape conviction in part because the victim in question was deemed too ugly to have been raped. The alleged victim, then 20 years old, was not found to be a credible rape victim because she was too unattractive and “masculine,” according to the three female judges.

The conviction was overturned by an all-female panel in 2017 despite medics reportedly claiming the woman’s injuries were consistent with rape.

The details concerning the reasoning behind the overturned conviction only became public earlier this month, however, according to The Daily Mail. “The Court of Cassation said Wednesday its own reasons for ordering the retrial will be issued next month,” noted the outlet.

“It’s a sentence that has shocked us, I was astonished when reading the motivation,” the woman’s lawyer, Cinzia Molinaro, told CNN…

Thousands Of Public School Educators Celebrate “Black Lives Matter At School Week” – Frontpage

During the week of February 4-8, thousands of educators in public school districts across the nation celebrated “Black Lives Matter at School Week” with the students under their charge.

Organized by a radical coalition of teachers, parents, and community organizers and promoted by EdJustice.org, a far-left group within the National Education Association (NEA), the week is endorsed by teachers unions in urban areas including Washington, DC, Chicago, Milwaukee and Seattle.

This week of special instruction and activities is billed as a complement to “Black History Month” which is recognized in February. But in reality the Black Lives Matter at School week has a much more insidious purpose – to indoctrinate students in radical leftist concepts including “restorative justice,” “transgender and queer affirming,” and “collective value.”

The initiative is inspired by the national Black Lives Matter movement which characterizes America as awash in racism and bigotry and denigrates law enforcement as racist…

Antifa-Controlled Portland Police Bureau Faces Mass ‘Exodus’ As 50+ Officers Quit Over Insane And Dangerous Far Left Policies – Gateway Pundit
.

.
As Portland trends further and further from Democrat to Marxist, the rank-and-file officers of the Portland Police Bureau have been put in the unenviable position of being ordered by the mayor to cater to the far left protesters and rioters like Antifa. At the same time the officers also face a more and more irate public, angry at the police bureau’s propensity for ceding the city to the protesters on a regular basis.

The latest shocker? The city council is consulting with a Baltimore based Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson to strategize over how the next police contract should be written.

The Oregonian reports:

Staff for Portland Commissioners Jo Ann Hardesty and Chloe Eudaly met Thursday with national Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson…

DOJ And Hillary’s Lawyers Struck Secret Deal To Block FBI Access To Clinton Foundation Emails: Strzok – Fox News

The Justice Department “negotiated” an agreement with Hillary Clinton’s legal team that ensured the FBI did not have access to emails on her private servers relating to the Clinton Foundation, former FBI special agent Peter Strzok testified during a closed-door appearance before the House Judiciary Committee last summer, according to a newly released transcript.

Republicans late last year renewed their efforts to probe the Clinton Foundation, after tax documents showed a plunge in its incoming donations after Clinton’s 2016 presidential election. The numbers fueled longstanding allegations of possible “pay-to-play” transactions at the organization, amid a Justice Department probe covering foundation issues.

Under questioning from Judiciary Committee General Counsel Zachary Somers, Strzok acknowledged that Clinton’s private personal email servers contained a mixture of emails related to the Clinton Foundation, her work as secretary of state and other matters.

“Were you given access to [Clinton Foundation-related] emails as part of the investigation?” Somers asked…

Godless Commie Imbecile Ocasio-Cortez Mocks ‘Thoughts And Prayers’ After New Zealand Mosque Shooting, Says It’s An ‘NRA Phrase’ – National Review
.

.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) mocked the tendency to resort to prayer in the face of tragedy after 49 people were killed at mosques in New Zealand on Friday, and even suggested the phrase “thoughts and prayers” was devised by the NRA to distract from the issue of gun violence.

Four people have been arrested, and one charged with murder, in connection with mass shootings that took place at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch during mid-day prayer on Friday.

The first attack, at the Linwood Mosque, resulted in seven dead and ended when an armed congregant pursued the gunmen and fired on them. A second shooting at the Al Noor mosque claimed 41 lives…

Chinese Premier Vows No Massive Stimulus As Beijing Launches Massive Stimulus – Zero Hedge

When it comes to China, the past decade revealed two things beyond a shadow of a doubt: i) all of the country’s economic data is utterly meaningless as it is entirely fabricated (in this measure it is not much different from other developed nations), goalseeked to fit a specific political narrative, and ii) Beijing has an annoying Trotskyite habit of doing precisely what it vows not to do or accuses others of doing.

A good example of the latter was again observed last night, when Premier Li Keqiang said that China will stick to its current targeted economic support strategy and resist the temptation to engage in large-scale stimulus like quantitative easing or a massive expansion in public spending.

“We certainly need to take strong measures to face the downward pressure,” Li told a news conference Friday at the close of the annual National People’s Congress session in Beijing.

“An indiscriminate approach may work in the short run but may lead to future problems. Thus it’s not a viable option. Our choice is to energize market players.”…

Brexit Update: MPs Vote 412 To 202 In Favor Of Extending Article 50 – CNBC

U.K. lawmakers voted in favor of seeking a delayed departure from the EU for at least three months, marking another step in a political crisis that has ripped through the heart of Westminster.

Members of Parliament (MPs) voted 412 to 202 for an extension of Article 50 – which sets out the EU departure process – beyond its current March 29 deadline. The vote Thursday evening was nonbinding, however, and the EU will have to agree to a delay. Brussels has already said Britain needs to justify requesting such an extension.

The vote completes a dramatic trilogy of events this week which have added yet more confusion into the whole Brexit process.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal suffered a second humiliating defeat as it was voted down by a majority of 149 votes. Then on Wednesday, U.K. lawmakers rejected the idea of leaving the bloc without a withdrawal agreement in place…

Somali Woman Charged With Terrorizing North Dakota Neighborhood Previously Tied To Human Sex Trafficking Case – PJ Media
.

A woman recently charged with making terrorist threats in a small North Dakota town claims she is innocent and being targeted because of her race and religion. But a local news station reports that not only has she been repeatedly charged with crimes in multiple states, she was previously arrested for her connection to a nationwide case of human sex trafficking.

Hawo Osman Ahmed, 26, is charged with a Class C felony of Terrorizing stemming from an incident last November 29 when she confronted three women from her Grand Forks apartment complex with a knife.

According to a Grand Forks Police Department affidavit filed in the case, Ahmed said to the women “I’m going to bust all your tires on your car and windows,” “Come over here I’m going to cut you,” and “I’m going to slice your neck,” all while holding the weapon…

Gambino Crime Family Boss Frank Cali Gunned Down Outside Staten Island Home – Fox News

New York police are hunting the hitman who pumped at least six bullets into Francesco “Franky Boy” Cali before making sure the 53-year-old Gambino mob boss was dead by running over him with a blue pickup truck as the assassin fled, officials and witnesses said.

No name or description of the killer was provided by police and authorities have yet to say if Cali’s death is the result of an intra-mafia squabble or if the crime family leader was whacked by a rogue gunman.

Cali was shot several times outside his house in the Todt Hill section of Staten Island around 9:20 p.m., the New York Post reported. His family sat helplessly inside the home as Cali was murdered. He was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital North and pronounced dead.

But the ambush outside Cali’s outer borough home was “disrespectful,” one source told the New York Post. A neighbor of Cali’s told the New York Times that he heard a burst of gunshots just after 9 p.m…

Dipshit Pleads Guilty To Dipping His Testicles In Customer’s To-Go Salsa, Then Laughs About It In Court – Daily Caller
.

.
Howard Matthew Webb pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor assault/offensive touching Tuesday in Maryville, Tennessee.

Webb was originally charged with a felony after a video surfaced of him dipping his testicles in a customer’s to-go salsa. Instead of doing hard time for a felony, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, of which he’s served 21 for already, according to Knox News.

Webb didn’t even work for the delivery service “Dinner Delivered” when the incident occurred. He was in the car with a woman who was delivering the salsa to April Pennington. The woman has not been charged, but was fired from the company after the incident.

While entering his plea, Webb laughed which didn’t go over very well with the judge…

2,287 Illegal Aliens Quarantined For Exposure To Contagious Diseases – Daily Wire

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers say that more than two thousand illegal immigrants currently being held in ICE custody are quarantined for exhibiting signs of infectious diseases, including the mumps.

CNN reports that the number of asylum seekers and other immigrant detainees being held along the border in towns like El Paso, Texas, has spiked since last year, and that ICE and United States Customs and Border Protection are dealing with more seriously ill immigrants than every before.

“As of March 7, 2019, there was a total of 2,287 detainees cohorted for exposure to a detainee with a contagious condition,” an ICE spokesman said in a statement to media made earlier this week.
