14 Illegal Alien Trannies In New Mexico Freed After Massachusetts ACLU Lawyers Intervene – CNS

Fourteen transgender illegal aliens have been released from the Cibola County Detention Center in New Mexico after attorneys from the American Civil Liberties (ACLU) Massachusetts chapter got involved.

The transgender illegal aliens from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala crossed the U.S. border in a caravan back in May and had been custody, pending their plea that the intolerance of their home countries makes it unsafe for them to return, Masslive.com reports:

“According to the petitions organized by IPP, the women suffered harm because of their gender identity in their home country, and were found by federal immigration officials to be at serious risk of persecution if they were returned to their home country,” the ACLU Massachusetts said in a statement.”

Six transgender illegal aliens from the 20-transgender caravan remain in custody at the Cibola detention center and will make the case for their release later this week…

Federal Judge Declares Albuquerque’s Vehicle Seizure Program Unconstitutional – Washington Free Beacon

A U.S. district judge declared Albuquerque’s civil asset forfeiture program unconstitutional.

Federal judge James O. Browning found that seizing property from those suspected of a crime, even before a legal judgment had been rendered, violated the property owner’s legal right to the presumption of innocence.

The law placed the burden on citizens to absolve themselves from crimes of which they’re accused, even if they had not been charged. He also held that the program’s funds collection, which bankrolls its budget, enticed law enforcement officials to work for personal benefit rather than for civilian protection.

“The City of Albuquerque has an unconstitutional institutional incentive to prosecute forfeiture cases, because, in practice, the forfeiture program sets its own budget and can spend, without meaningful oversight, all of the excess funds it raises from previous years,” Browning, who sits on the District Court of New Mexico, wrote in an order Saturday…

Swedish Crown Jewels Stolen By Motorboat Pirates – Daily Caller

Thieves stole the Swedish crown jewels from Strängnäs Cathedral in Sweden Tuesday and made off in a motorboat, prompting a massive manhunt.

Two unidentified men took a royal orb and two crowns from their display cases in the cathedral around noon, then escaped on a motorboat that they had moored below the church. Police gave chase with boats, helicopters and officers on land.

“We are on land, in the water and in the air,” a police spokesman told The Sydney Morning Herald. The thieves evaded capture, however, leaving the boat to travel in a getaway car. Police believe they are either headed East to Stockholm, or west into the hinterlands.

“We are spreading out in all directions,” the spokesman added. The police had not apprehended them as of 9:30 p.m. local time.

The church was open and staffed with security at the time of the theft, but those present reported that the thieves injured no one “physically or mentally.”…

Google is planning to launch a censored version of its search engine in China that will blacklist websites and search terms about human rights, democracy, religion, and peaceful protest, The Intercept can reveal.

The project – code-named Dragonfly – has been underway since spring of last year, and accelerated following a December 2017 meeting between Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai and a top Chinese government official, according to internal Google documents and people familiar with the plans.

Teams of programmers and engineers at Google have created a custom Android app, different versions of which have been named “Maotai” and “Longfei.”…

Trump Extends Short-Term Plans Offered As A Way Out Of Obamacare – Washington Examiner

The Trump administration will allow people to buy short-term health insurance for just under 12 months and extend them for up to three years, reversing an Obama administration-era rule that put a shorter limit on how long these plans can be used.

The administration casts the maneuver as a way to provide alternatives to expensive Obamacare plans for consumers, but Democrats oppose the plans as “junk insurance” that bring the country to a pre-Obamacare era offering inadequate medical coverage.

The move overturns a rule implemented in April 2016 that restricted the time people were allowed to be on these plans to three months. Prior to that, people were able to have them for nearly a year, or 364 days.

Under the Trump administration’s new rules, people can renew their short-term coverage twice, for a maximum of 36 months, Randy Pate, deputy administrator at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said in a call Tuesday with reporters…

Tommy Robinson Freed After Winning Appeal Over Contempt Of Court Sentence – The Sun
.

.
Tommy Robinson will today be freed from jail after winning his appeal for a contempt of court conviction.

The English Defence League (EDL) founder was sentenced to 13 months in prison earlier this year after broadcasting footage of trial defendants on social media. But the 35-year-old, who did not appear for the hearing, is a free man again after the Court of Appeal ruled there was technical flaws in the ruling of the judge who jailed him.

The original judge was found to have rushed Robinson’s trial and as a result the court did not hear which parts of his offending footage was problematic. This meant that he could not defend himself properly, the Court of Appeal heard…

Entire Police Force Suspended After Chief And Lieutenant Arrested On Corruption Charges – Law & Crime

Southport, North Carolina is technically operating without a police force after the city’s police chief was arrested last week on corruption charges. All remaining members of the police force were subsequently suspended and placed on paid administrative leave.

Local outlet WECT reports that now-former Southport police chief Gary Smith and lieutenant Michael Christian Simmons were each charged with one count of felony conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense, willful failure to discharge duties and obstruction of justice. The two latter charges both misdemeanors.

District Attorney Jon David noted that the investigation began on April 4 of this year after law enforcement tipped off investigators about the duo’s alleged scheme.

To wit, both Smith and Simmons are accused of working overnight shifts at a nearby trucking company during the same hours claimed on their daily activity reports for the Southport Police Department…

Dumber Than Dirt: Democrat Senator Mazie Hirono Still “Confused” After ICE Official Explains How Immigration Law Works – Daily Caller
.

.
Democratic Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono received a quick lesson on U.S. immigration law from ICE official Matthew Albence during a hearing on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.

“Would you send your child to [the Family Residential Center]?” Hirono asked. Albence appeared to be losing his patience with the senator’s line of questioning and perceived lack of understanding of the issue, saying, “Again, I think we’re missing the point. These individuals are there because they have broken a law. There has to be a process.”

The senator, not liking where Albence’s answer was leading, interjected: “They have broken a law only as deemed so by the president,” she said.

“No, ma’am. They’re there for violation of Title 8 of the Immigration and Nationality Act…

Winning: Worker Pay Rises At Highest Rate Since 2008 – Breitbart

Compensation for workers improved this spring at the highest rate since the Great Recession.

Low unemployment has businesses offering better compensation packages to workers, pushing the employment cost index up to 2.8 percent over a year ago levels, according to a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released Tuesday. That is the best annual gain since the third quarter of 2008, which saw the index rise 2.9 percent.

It is only slight gain over the quarterly survey released in March, which indicated a 2.7 percent annual gain. The measure of private-sector wages and salaries, which excludes the costs associated with benefits, rose 2.9% year over year, exactly as it did early in the year.

This indicates that wage gains are not accelerating rapidly – something that might convince the Federal Reserve to pick up the pace of interest rate hikes in an effort to keep inflation in line with its target…

Leftist-Run Philadelphia Plunders Its Property Owners For Cash – Zero Hedge
.

.
Like a lot of major cities in the United States, Philadelphia is in pretty rough financial condition. One of the city’s biggest problems is its woefully underfunded public pension, which has a multi-billion dollar funding gap.

In 2001, Philadelphia’s pension fund was still in decent shape with a funding level of 77%, meaning that it had sufficient assets to meet 77% of its long-term obligations. By 2017 the funding level had dropped to less than 50%.

Part of this is just blatant mismanagement; while most of the market soared in 2016, for example, Philadelphia’s pension fund lost about $150 million on its investments, roughly 3.17% of its capital…

The Democrat Future Isn’t Socialist, It’s Crazy – Daniel Greenfield

The socialists are having a moment. At least if you believe the media But if the socialists were really having a moment, their big show wouldn’t be a 28-year-old birdbrain whose big achievement was beating a boring white guy in a Hispanic district he didn’t even live in.

If you’re going to take over the Democrats, you need something more to show for it than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or a senile socialist who came in number 2 in the primaries and then again in the DNC.

The Democrats are adopting socialist ideas wholesale. The 2020 Dem nominee will run on a guaranteed minimum income or ‘Welfare for All”. Along with free health care, free college and free copies of Das Kapital.

And socialism polls brilliantly with the four core Dem bases of angry government workers, angry college students, angry welfare recipients and San Francisco eco-billionaires who keep all their money in Caribbean banks…

Number Of U.S. Newspaper Newsroom Employees Plunges 45 Percent – News Max
.

.
The number of employees in U.S. newspaper newsrooms has declined by 45 percent over the past decade, according to a new survey. U.S. newspaper newsroom employees fell from 71,000 in 2008 to 39,000 in 2017, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics figures cited by the Pew Research Center.

The decline in the number of newspaper newsroom workers was the biggest contributor to an overall drop in newsroom employment in the United States, Pew said.

The overall number of employees working in newsrooms – newspapers, radio, cable and broadcast television and digital media outlets – fell 23 percent over the period, from 114,000 in 2008 to 88,000 in 2017…

California Police Chief: We’ve Arrested The Same Person 83 Times – Red State

There is so much ridiculous news coming out of California these days – jail time for providing plastic straws, driver’s licenses for illegal aliens, sanctuary cities… it’s almost too much to keep up with.

There is so much insanity that Americans might not be aware of another Krazy Kalifornia™ measure that has been burdening the state and law-abiding citizens since 2014.

Prop 47 – deceptively (of course) monikered as the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act – reduced the threshold for felonies, categorizing most non-violent crimes as misdemeanors in an attempt to reduce the prison population.

The result has been an increase in petty crimes as most go unpunished. Police are unable to hold those committing petty crimes and thus the perpetrators are simply released back into the population to continue their offenses. Petty criminals know this and have been offending with near complete impunity over the last few years…

Man Changes Gender To Save On Car Insurance – Daily Signal

Geico’s well-advertised 15 minutes to save you 15 percent on car insurance may be one way to save money, but in Canada, one man discovered another way to make his car insurance cheaper.

After finding out that if he was a woman he would save 1,100 Canadian dollars on his car insurance, one man decided to start identifying legally as a woman.

In a story published by CBC News, a man identified only as David reveals that he changed his gender from male to female on his government-issued documents to get cheaper car insurance.

David, a resident of the Canadian province of Alberta, wanted to buy a new Chevrolet Cruze. After calling his auto insurance company, David says he was informed that he would have to pay 4,500 or so Canadian dollars a year in insurance costs for the new car. When he asked what the rate would be if he was a woman, he says he was told 3,400 Canadian dollars…

As Portland mayor Ted Wheeler ordered the Portland Police Bureau to stand down and let the far left mob lay siege to the I.C.E. facility, employees at the building were helpless as they called for emergency services on at least two occasions due to the violence from the unhinged protesters. Police didn’t show up to help.

Now the I.C.E. employees are fighting back, threatening to sue the city for a violation of their 14th Amendment rights to equal protection under the law. Willamette Week reports:

Rape Reports In Paris Increase By 20% And Perpetrators Walk Free – Voice Of Europe

Paris seems to follow the dramatic criminal evolution of London as rape reports increased by 20% in the French capital in just five months, L’express reports.

Woman are preyed upon and followed through the streets, sometimes being raped in or near their own homes. Men also offer to accompany, on foot or by car, a girl out partying who’s friends have gone, thinking she is about to get a taxi.

Christophe Pinot, the head of the 2nd judicial police district of Paris (DPJ), worries about the new trend that drunken women are targeted.

“We have some cases of attackers who follow inebriated women at the end of the evening near the doorways of the bars, if is this a new trend, the coming months will tell,” he says.

In Pinot’s sector, half the city’s populations is concentrated around their many bars. The increasing number of rapes reported to police is seeing dangerous growth. Paris police revealed the huge increase in rape reports have occurred within the last five months…

Study: Bernie Sanders’ ‘Medicare For All’ Plan Costs $32 Trillion – Breitbart
.

.
Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) “Medicare for all” government-run healthcare scheme will cost $32 trillion over the next 10 years and would require “historic” tax increases to pay for it, according to a new study released on Monday.

The Mercatus Center at George Mason University analyzed a proposal from Sanders’ socialized medicine plan and found that it will cost $32 trillion over the next ten years. Charles Blahous, the study author, said, “Enacting something like ‘Medicare for all’ would be a transformative change in the size of the federal government.”

Blahous argues that the estimates for the $32 trillion price tag are relatively conservative because they assume that Sanders’ bill achieves its goals of reducing payments to health providers, as well as lowering drug prices and administrative costs…

Virginia Congressional Race: Democrat Cockburn Accuses Republican Riggleman Of Being Obsessed With Bigfoot Porn – New York Post

Things got hairy for a Virginia congressional candidate Monday after his opponent claimed he has an obsession with Bigfoot porn.

Democrat Leslie Cockburn accused Republican Denver Riggleman of being hot for Sasquatch in a Twitter post that featured censored “erotic” images of the mythical upright-walking forest ape.

“My opponent Denver Riggleman, running mate of Corey Stewart, was caught on camera campaigning with a white supremacist,” she wrote on Twitter Sunday – referencing his ties to the notorious white supremacist Isaac Smith. “Now he has been exposed as a devotee of Bigfoot erotica. This is not what we need on Capitol Hill,” she said.

Cockburn, who is the mother of actress Olivia Wilde, posted a screenshot from Riggleman’s now-private Instagram account showing an image of Sasquatch with a “censored” bar covering its genitals.
