Now that IS interesting

One MLB player decided to “take a knee” to protest “injustice” that player seems to be a real gem of a guy who knows a LOT about thuggery, and is learning a lesson about justice

Not only does the execrable Bruce Maxwell of the Oakland A’s refuse to stand for the national anthem, not only is he an egregious hate hoaxer, not only was he arrested last weekend for sticking a gun in the face of a delivery girl, this is the respect he shows officers of the law:

When cops confronted Maxwell, he reeked of booze, cussed like crazy and couldn’t keep his story straight. …

As the investigation continued, cops say Maxwell “began making anti-police statements and utilized excessive profanity.” When cops decided to arrest him, he initially refused to comply. …

Maxwell was transported to a nearby jail, where he continued to cuss out police officers…

Nice job asshat.  Maxwell lied to prove what a victim he is, a lie that could have cost a man his job

Oakland A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell, 26, claimed this week that a waiter in his Alabama hometown of Huntsville refused him service after identifying him as the MLB player who took the knee during “The Star Spangled Banner” last month — only the waiter has a very different version of events and he told Fox News that was far from what went down.

“He is outright lying. This is really upsetting as he was given full service, I didn’t even know who Bruce Maxwell was,” Matt Henry, a 42-year-old waiter at Keegan’s Public House, told Fox News. “This all started because I carded his friend who wanted to order a beer.”

According to Henry, an Alabama native, Maxwell was dining with local Democratic councilman Devyn Keith and another friend who produced an expired ID, and the server refused to serve him a drink —  which upset the friend, who followed him into the kitchen.

What a low life. Maxwell will gladly throw a server under the Social Justice Bus to perpetuate the lie that America is a hotbed of RAAAAACISM! But, Maxwell’s issues do not stop there

A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell allegedly aimed a gun at a female delivery driver Saturday evening and was arrested for aggravated assault.

Maxwell was arrested shortly after 6 p.m. local time at his house in Scottsdale, Ariz., for the incident, according to TMZ.

On top of the aggravated assault charge, Maxwell was also booked for disorderly conduct.

Of course, Maxwell deserves a presumption of innocence until proven guilty, but he does seem to be obsessed with being a victim doesn’t he? Sounds a lot like the NFL players disrupting the national anthem

We know that certain players in the NFL are “taking a knee” to protest police brutality, and injustice, oh, and inequality too. We know that they are doing it during the national anthem. They claim they are doing it during the anthem to “start a discussion”. Yet, anyone who can reason knows that such an action during the Star Spangled Banner will only anger most Americans, So, whatever cause these players are pushing will get lost in that anger. In fact the net result has been to create more division and anger, not discussions.

These protests, of course, are meant to divide. The left is pushing these protests, and the left wants division and anger. Face it if these players, who have bought into the Black Lives Matter rhetoric really wanted a dialogue, they could hold press conferences. You and I know ESPN would be all over covering such events. But, again this is not about opportunities for dialogue.

If it were the players could, when asked about their protests actually address the issues they claim to be concerned about. But, they don’t. Think about that, if the whole idea is to start discussions, why do they never take advantage of all the opportunities to do so?

Maybe feigning victimhood is what they really seek?
