Gay Black man the latest to feel Leftist “inclusion”

Lynch Mob Mentality Disorder time!

Broadway and YouTube star Todrick Hall fired back at critics and the “Woke Police” who lashed out at him for appearing in Taylor Swift’s new music video.

Though he kept his dancing cameo in Swift’s video for “Look What You Made Me Do” under wraps since filming back in May, Hall was immediately under attack once Swift released a preview of the video last week, with many accusing him of being a “sellout.”

The recording artist and former American Idol semi-finalist, who starred as a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” took on the haters in a new interview with Yahoo!, defending his part in the video and his friendship with Swift herself.

I know nothing of Hall, or Swift, or their politics. Frankly, I do not care. And, to be honest, their music is not on any of my playlists. But, this is not about musical tastes. This is about intolerance, and irrational hatred. Hatred, in this case, spurred on by, well, nothing but an apparent need to hate anyone who might even disagree with you. Or, it seems anyone who dares betray their all important “identity” or “community”

“One of the main things that people said was, ‘He wanted to make his money. Well, good for him, he got paid. And I guess payment is enough for you to sell out your family, your people, your community,’” Hall said. “But this had nothing to do with money. I didn’t do this Taylor Swift video for money. I did it because she’s my friend

But, Hall is learning that “Woke” Black people must shun White people because, diversity or something

Hall, who has over 2.6 million followers on YouTube, said much of the hatred he has received has been simply for his friendship with Swift.

“Yes, I have gotten comments from people who are upset and have literally said the fact that I am friends with a white person is a problem, because white people don’t possess the ability to love or ever truly care about black people. And I find that very disheartening,” he said.

“It’s just really difficult for me to understand why it is an issue for people, a legitimate issue, that I have white friends, and that Taylor Swift happens to be one of my many white friends,” he added

“Apparently there’s a thing called the ‘cookout,’ which is like your invitation to be a part of the black community,” Hall explained. “Some people have, like, deemed themselves the Woke Police, and they decide to strip you online of your invitation to attend the ‘cookout.’ It boggles my mind that people are deciding whether or not I’m down enough, black enough, or woke enough to be ‘invited.’ If I have to hate people and judge people based on their race, sexual orientation, or religion, then sorry, but I’d rather order pizza.”

Hall is finding out that no one is safe from The Intolerants. In Hall’s case he is Gay, and Black, but only “genuine” if he hates White people, especially White people who might, possibly, be a Conservative.

“Yeah, many people have been tweeting me, ‘She supports Trump! She probably voted for Trump!’ They’re making this huge assumption, when Taylor has never to my knowledge come out and said anything about her being pro-Trump,” Hall argued. “But people would still rather believe that she is the one who is pushing Trump’s agenda. That was one of the major things that was tweeted at me, and I’m like, ‘So you are mad that you think she might support Donald Trump?

This is how the Left destroys, or at least one of the ways. It starts by alienating and attacking people for holding certain opinions. Then it turns into hating them for those opinions. Next, it devolves into hating them because they “might” hold such opinions. Next, those who are friends or who work with anyone who might hold unapproved views find themselves hated and demonized. This is the new definition of tolerance.

This is what has become of Dr. King’s dream. This is what the Left has done to it. This is what the the new Identitycrats have turned diversity and tolerance into. The aim now, it seems, is not stopping hate, but fomenting it
