Oh those Leftists, they love words like solidarity. They love to throw their full support behind movements and causes for “justice” and “equality. They love, in short to dive headlong into hashtags, and causes without knowing any facts whatsoever. The Left does not value truth, facts are generally inconvenient to them so they are dismissed. Even when a cause is discredited or a narrative totally destroyed, they hold on to their talking pints like a stubborn child.
Take, for example, the causes of the moment in America Police shooting Black men. Rather than taking these shootings case by case, and evaluating evidence as it comes to light, Leftists react immediately, and cling to their talking points. Talking points usually crafted by propagandists and opportunists to cash in personally. For example, take the shooting of Erick Scott in Charlotte North Carolina. No one can say for certain what happened, no one can say the shooting was justified or not justified. An investigation must be done. Witnesses must be interviewed, video evidence must be examined, and forensic evidence must be weighed. After the investigation is complete then, and only then will we all know for certain. But, that is not what the Left does. They immediately launch into protest/outrage/social justice mode. They know everything they need to know. A Black man was shot by police in America so it must be police brutality, cold blooded murder, and of course, RAAAACISM!
And if the evidence supports the case that this shooting was justified? The same Leftists will turn their blind eyes to such facts. Again, facts are not welcome, critical thinking? Bah! Waiting for evidence? The don’t need no stinkin’ evidence! Just ask the students at NC State
NC State totally stands in solidarity with things they really do not know about
Would that be in solidarity for those who protested peaceably, or those who looted stores, broke windows, damaged cars, assaulted people, tried to throw a reporter in a burning trash can, etc?
(WTVD) Students at NC State joined the growing protest movement over the police shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott, in Charlotte.
About 300 students staged a die-in at the student union on Friday evening.
It began with a gathering on Wolf Plaza. Demonstrators arrived wearing all black. Then, in unity with the demonstrators in Charlotte, they marched in to the student union and played dead. The die-in serving as a symbolic protest over what they see as the latest case of police brutality.
Scott was told to drop the gun or some variation at least 12 times. His wife kept repeating “Keith don’t do it.”
Again, it is all drama folks. Being outraged, offended, aggrieved, and most of all being a victim is now the highest achievement a Leftist can obtain.
