Woman Jailed After Posting Signs Advertising Marijuana For Sale – Weekly Vice
Tami Lorraine Madison, a 40-year-old Montana woman was jailed Saturday after she allegedly posted signs advertising “Marijuana for sales with free samples.”
According to the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office, a deputy was on patrol Saturday morning when he passed a car parked behind a gas station that displayed signs that advertised “Marijuana for sale – Free Samples.”
When the deputy stopped and questioned Madison, she stated that the signs were a joke. A search of her vehicle, however, told another story.
Investigators allegedly found more than eight pounds of processed marijuana inside her vehicle.
Madison was booked into the Humboldt County Jail and charged with felony possession of marijuana for sale. Her bail has been set at $25,000.
