Guess what else ObamaCare does?

It ends that whole private medical records stuff!

Obamacare HHS rule would give government everybody’s health records
It’s been said a thousand times: Congress had to pass President Obama’s  health care law in order to find out what’s in it. But, despite the repetitiveness, the level of shock from each new discovery never seems to recede.
This time, America is learning about the federal government’s plan to collect and aggregate confidential patient records for every one of us. read the rest

The more you look at ObamaCare, which Congress never really did, the worse it gets. Remember this come next November!

  1. As a man who visits a psychiatrist, the sancity and inviotality of the paitient/doctor privelage is an extremely close and personal matter. Even though it’s a secular item, I see the practice nonetheless as almost holy or righteous: a pure and honest tenet of medicine that allows me to say ANYTHING to my psychiatrist without fear of it leaking and inducing shame.

I guess it’s because I liken it to the ecclesiastical doctrine of speaking one-on-one with a preacher. As a Baptist, I believe that the preacher is the “shepherd” of the church, and because of this, the “flock” can approach him and tell him literally anything. The shepherd/flock privilege, I guess? 😉

Anyway, that’s why I see the right to medical privacy as nearly sacred. Without the trust that the patient/doctor privilege grants, I, and any psychatrist’s patient, would be less willing to lay it all bare, nullifying the purpose of going at all and irreparably damaging the practice.
