The Gators blasted five homers earning a second straight trip to the College Baseball World Series
The University of Florida is heading back to the College World Series.
For the first time in school history the Gators will make consecutive trips to Omaha, as Florida took a wild 8-6 decision over Mississippi State in the deciding game three of the Super Regional at McKethan Stadium Sunday.
The Gators jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but the Bulldogs scored six straight before Preston Tucker delivered a three-run shot in the bottom of the seventh to put the Gators back on top, then Daniel Pigott delivered his second home run of the game in the bottom of the eighth to give Florida an 8-6 lead.
