A story that should scare all of us who love liberty

A simply unbelievable news story that Mike has at The Classic Liberal

An Oregon Department of Transportation employee gets laid off. So in his free time, he goes out and buys a couple guns. No big deal, you’re thinking. Well … that’s because you actually think.

The government never bothers to think. They just react!

Police act swiftly after gun purchases

Concerns about an Oregon Department of Transportation employee who purchased several guns after being placed on leave prompted law enforcement across Southern Oregon to step in.

Negotiators and a SWAT team from Medford police safely took a man — whose name wasn’t released — into protective custody Monday morning in the 500 block of Effie Street, Medford police said in a news release.

He was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center for a mental-health evaluation.

The man recently had been placed on administrative leave from his job and was “very disgruntled,” the news release said.

Oh, a “news release” said he was “very disgruntled” … Well then, that settles it.

Does anybody in America care about freedom anymore? And if freedom’s too Very Scary for you, what makes you think the government will save* you? After all, as this situation proves, the government is the most violent demographic in society.

The government doesn’t follow any rules. If you believe they do, it’s time to grow up. The police are now armed like the military. The police beat and kill people, often without consequence.

Everything the government does, it does by force, or the threat of force.

This man committed no crime, yet the government raided his house and threw him in a mental hospital. Not only that, they closed down his neighborhood streets and forced his neighbors out of their homes too.

Very Orwellian isn’t it? Now the guy MIGHT have been planning something, but, that is not for the police to guess is it? Terrifying story. Another example of how PC has gone so out of control.
