The Left is quite fond of blaming isolated incidents of violence on “Right Wing Hate Speech” OK, fine, if they REALLY think that way, then I expect every single Liberal who is calling people protesting ObamaCare racists, to take the blame for THIS! Come on, time to be consistent for ONCE!

Wait, you expect leftists to judge themselves by the same standards they judge everyone else? Are you drunk?
Gator:
I commented over at Don’s piece two days ago that neither the local police there or any of the witnesses/participants on the bus (including the victim) are saying this was a racial incident, but since you’re making a slightly different argument here (from what I can tell), I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, and let you explain. What does this incident of bullying on a school bus have to do with hate-speech, charges of racism by/about anyone, President Obama, or healthcare reform?
(Damn… Can’t edit comments, here…)
Or for that matter, what does it have to do with partisan politics, left or right?
For the record, I don’t believe that most opposition to Obama’s policies has anything to do with his or anyone else’s race, though there is some of that, way out on the fringes. (If need be I can find/post links to signs and statements about Obama (or if you prefer, from the right, on other subjects–including this incident on the bus) that I believe *have* been racist, but as I said, it’s mostly on the fringes, and doesn’t speak to the right as a whole.)
The fact that there are a few racists and other assorted nuts and extremists on the right says as little about the right as a whole as the fact that there are a few racists, and nuts, and other assorted extremists on the left. Like I’m always telling Donald, it’s both dishonest and foolish to blame a whole group for the sins and stupidity of it’s worst members. Whether sinners or saints, right or left, people are individuals, and should be judged as individuals.
