Yes America, Sarah Palin IS smarter than President Teleprompter

Especially on the economy!

PALIN: Well, when you consider that the federal government is about eleven trillion dollars in debt, and we’re borrowing more to spend more.. it defies any sensible economic policy that any of us ever learned through college. It defies economy practices and principles that tell ya ‘you gotta quit digging that hole when you are in that financial hole’

“America is digging a deeper hole and how are we paying for this government largesse. We’re borrowing. We’re borrowing from China and we consider that now we own sixty percent of GENERAL MOTORS – or the U.S. government does… But who is the U.S. government becoming more indebted to? It’s China. So that leads you to have to ask who is really going to own our car industry than in America.”

HANNITY: You know but it goes back – It does go back a little to the campaign. I mean, ‘spread the wealth, patriotic duty…’

PALIN: Kind of a ‘we told ya so’.

HANNITY: Well, is that how you feel?

PALIN: That’s how I feel! I feel like… and I think that more and more constituents are going to open their eyes now and open their ears to hear what is really going on and realize ok… Maybe we didn’t have a good way of expressing that, or articulating that message of ‘here is what America could potentially become if we grow government to such a degree that we cannot pay for it and we have to borrow money from other countries, some countries that don’t necessarily like America.

And this many months into the new administration, quite disappointed, quite frustrated with not seeing those actions to rein in spending, slow down the growth of government. Instead Sean it is the complete opposite. It’s expanding at such a large degree that if Americans aren’t paying attention, unfortunately our country could evolve into something that we do not even recognize.

HANNITY: Socialism?

PALIN: Well, that is where we are headed. That is where we have to be blunt enough and candid enough and honest enough with Americans to let them know that if we keep going down these roads… nationalizing many of our services, our projects, our businesses, yes that is where we would head. And that is why Americans have to be paying attention. And we have to have our voices heard. And ultimately it need to be our will, the American people’s will imposed on Washington, instead of the other way around.

This is what the GOP has to do on a consistent basis, harp on the economic disaster that Obamanomics is, point out how it is hurting this nation and every working man and woman in it. Higher deficits, record spending, promses of more and more taxes, more regulation, more nationalizion of companies, etc, is the absolute wrong tonic and Palin is pointing that out.

Much more at Ace of Spades including a poll that shows America s finally seeing that we were sold an Empty Suit last November.

The biggest qustion now is how soon will enough Americans see that they were, as Ace puts it conned. Will it be soon enough for a reversal of fortune in the House and Senate in 2009? Will the emerging dissatisfaction with Obama last until 2012? I am going to predict we see a replay of 1994 next year.Maybe not quite as dramatic, but I see the GOP making large gains in both houses of Congress. As to 2012, I see Obama pulling a Clinton, and putting his legacy and re-election above his ideals. So, if those two things come to fruition, better days are ahead my friends. BUT, ONLY, ONLY, if America votes out the Liberals next November.

  1. I completely agree with you. Sarah Palin is much smarter than Pres Obama. I hate the way the Media killed her so that she could not possibly get elected.
Did you know that most of the people on the PISD Board of Trustees have served for more than one term? Only one of the board members is serving her first term. Is this not a little scary? These people could do almost anything, in relation to the public education system, because they have worked together for multiple years.

  2. The liberals are very scared of Sarah Palin. She can beat Obama. The comment “I hate the way the Media killed her so that she could not possibly get elected.” is a bunch of nonsense. The media did not kill her, she is a superstar, and only a superstar can beat Obama. Palin will be the GOP nominee and will win the White House too. Comments like the one above are the same things they said about Reagan after he ran in 1976. Reagan came back to win in 1980 and Palin will do the same in 2012.

    1. Yes, she is a star, and the Dems fear her. Which, of course is why they are still trying to discredit her.

  3. Anyone who thinks Gov. Palin was “killed by the media, and is now unelectable” apparently hasn’t been paying much attention. She drew over 20,000 to an event in Auburn NY on Saturday. On Sunday she attended the Autism walk on Long Island. Organizers requested that she leave early because the 12,000 or so participants were spending more time clustering around her wanting to take pictures, and get autographs, than walking. Later that night over 1,000 people came to the Independent Group Home Living Foundations gala where Palin was the guest of honor. It should also be pointed out that at the Seward House fundraising event in Auburn over 300 people paid $250 a piece to have their picture taken with her, and another 200 paid $100 just to be there and listen to her speech. All this deep inside 0bama territory. No other republican or political figure, except for 0bama, could draw that many people to a non-political event 7 months after the election.

Apparently all these people didn’t get the memo that the media has “killed her,” and she’s no longer important.

Palin has actually been on a roll for a few months now, with all the “ethics” complaints being dismissed on a regular basis, her interview with Christian Living magazine, her appearance on American Chopper, her statements regarding both the killing of George Tiller, and Pvt. Long, as well as her defense of Carrie Prejean, her statement regarding 0bama’s appearance at Notre Dame, and her statements regarding 0bama’s missile defense cuts, and today she has taken 0bama on over his healthcare plan as well. You can even add Todd Palin’s appearance in Esquire, Men’s Journal, Sports Illustrated, and The New Yorker, and Bristol being on the cover of People magazine. Let’s not forget the announcement of her book deal. All this is definately having an impact.

    1. I think the media DID hurt her in the last election, they will try the same crap if she runs in 2012. But, I think she can best them, she has all the tools to do just that. Looks, wit, charm, Conservative values, and common sense. People like her, and I think she might be exactly what the GOP needs.

  4. There is absolutely no question Sarah Palin is smarter, wiser and has more common sense than Obama. The guy is a joke. We need more people like Palin, but the problem is that all of the smart, capable people avoid the bs political world so you end up with complete idiots like Frank and Pelosi. But no question, Obama is all looks, no content.
